No sooner had I posted my opinion on public servants earning over £100,000 and not serving the public than further proof emerged on the stance of today's police force. We all know and fear the presence of 'travellers'. No group in our society is more out of control and no group in our society is more protected by the police.
Everywhere they go they cause trouble and cause damage. Councils must spend millions clearing up after them and we have all seen the aftermath of a 'traveller' site. The filth and degredation is usually appalling and inexcusable. Confrontation is futile but when faced with people cutting down your trees for firewood then you must do something! What you shouldn't do is dial 999 and expect assistance from those people who are paid to assist you. They won't and don't and what is more you will be punished for expecting that help which you pay your taxes for. Here is the proof.
I suspect that somewhere there is an edict from the EU which prevents the police from confronting the 'traveller' and actually protects them from the law. There can be no other explanation can there?

To act against gypsies (let's call a spade a spade shall we) would probably be deemed a racist act that contravened their human rights. I don't think there is a place for common sense left in this country.
Our Police, sorry - the Police - have become not fit for purpose. They really are utterly useless and completely infested with cock-eyed political correctness. Time they were disbanded and reformed along Peelian lines together with elected Police Chiefs and the dissolution of the private company called ACPO.
Tks guys because it is ridiculous what is happening to us as a country. The police have become the Stasi...their top officers are earning a fortune for following the edicts from the EU. The politicians who we see on our screens day after day are doing nothing to protect the public from the criminals, the immigrants or the Gypsies (fair enough Julian)! We have become defenceless, we are naked against any attack on our society...and that is exactly how the EU want us!
Did you see the story (daily mail I think) about the landowner that the travelers threatened (on her own property)to slit her throat and the throats of her cows and horses? 35 minutes after she dialed 999 they came out and confiscated her legally held shotguns even though she had not threatened them but couldn't question the perpetrators.
