Addressing Sleaze and Corruption!

Godfrey Bloom wants to address real 'Issues'!
It is becoming increasingly difficult to write about the political scene in the UK because almost everywhere one looks there appears to be some form of abnormal behaviour.  All three of the mainstream political parties appear to be in disarray.  Nobody appears to be in control of the country and as such the British people are being continually ripped off!

Fuel and utility prices are apparently not being monitored by government sources.  Rail prices continue to escalate out of control. In many areas commuter services are woefully inadequate.

The UK Border Service is still not monitoring immigration adequately.  We are an island society and yet it would appear that anyone can arrive here legally or illegally and remain despite some examples of atrocious behaviour. Who is following up and evicting illegals?

It took the 'bongo-bongo' outburst from Godfrey Bloom of UKIP to highlight the treasonable waste of public funds haemorrhaging to unworthy African dictators who cream off huge amounts for personal gain.  Why is this still being allowed? Why are we funding Indian and Nigerian space programmes? Why are we funding  the purchase of Pakistani jet fighters when we cannot afford to man our own aircraft carriers?

These are all questions which should be addressed in Westmonster but all we get is a constant repeat of party political trivia.  Accordingly the Labour party is devoid of meaningful policies, the Conservative party is losing membership and the LibDems under Clegg have become irrevelant.

I have yet to even mention the scandalous amounts handed out to the EU every month and this is why the British public should become concerned.  Our political class are handing out shed loads of public money and then declaring that we are trillions in debt and we, the public, must face austerity.  It is despicable behaviour but somehow, come election time, the British public do not hold them to account!

Every aspect of the services delivered by government is failing.
No matter where we look, Immigration, Education, Health and Welfare, Transport, Justice and Foreign Policy we face chaos and yet they all go berzerk when Godfrey Bloom uses the term 'Bongo-Bongo land'. It is high time that this country went back to straight talking and increasingly used the term 'treason' to describe what is happening to our money!

When will it Stop?

Day after day we have revelations that some public servants are creaming off huge amounts in almost any available scam.  They can call it what they like but severance payments, bonus payments or huge retirement pension pots are being creamed off by a small cartel of chief executives.  Once you have broken through the glass ceiling then millions are on offer.

The main perpetrators are the Civil Service, the BBC, the NHS, Local Government and a huge group of quangos.  They are all sucking on the teat of the public purse.  There is a huge row on the severance payments of top BBC executives.  They have been gorging themselves on our money. Then G4S have been discovered (not for the first time) to be cheating the public on security.

Let's face it this country is mired in corruption.  The people who are emerging at the top of every tree are generally corrupt. We cannot trust anyone anymore.  The people who the BBC and the mainstream media regularly feature are all playing a game and are being richly rewarded.

The game being played by all our EU supporting politicians/public servants and trade union chiefs is simple.  Spend as much as you want from the public purse because we must bankrupt the country as quickly as possible.  Nobody is even trying to stop it!  Even the politicians are in line for a pay rise despite their expenses and subsidies.

This country should follow the example of Cairo but then we don't care enough.  We accept that all these crooks can grab millions of our public money and they know that nobody will care enough to protest!  We are all mugs and deserve everything that we get!!

Ed Balls is Copying George Osborne!

Not a policy in sight!
I am watching Ed Balls on the show that the BBC still calls the 'Andrew Marr Show' and I am laughing out loud! This man is incorrigible!  After years of blowing all the public money under Grodon Brown he now says that the Tory austerity policy is correct.  He goes even further because he is trying to blame the Coalition for the state of the country's finances!

He is being skewered by Sophie Rayworth who is valiantly trying to get some sort of future policy out of him.  All he will admit is that he will continue the Osborne policy of cutting public spending. Ha!  In other words the 'Political Class' will continue 'troughing' and the public will continue to lose services. Vote Labour!

Every Sunday morning the BBC parades the usual subjects but even by their standards this morning has been dismal.  Baroness Helena Kennedy is a well known, well connected, socialist millionaire and she shared a sofa wih shameless self publicist Russell Brand!  What can this clown contribute to serious debate?

Nothing changes! Just pay the license fee and we will treat you as idiots. Actually Sophie Rayworth is much better than Andrew Marr and I would like to see her keep the job but please BBC bring on some credible  and sensible contributors.  Of all the mainstream frontline politicians only Nigel Farage has the ability to enthuse because he is the only one on the side of the patriot.

Endemic Corruption...Is It Everywhere Now?

This morning I watched Treasury Secretary, Danny Alexander, squirming on the BBC news programme when he was grilled by presenter Charlie Stayt. He gave the impression of a man staring into headlights knowing that his world was about to collapse. He stuttered and stammered and refused to address questions or even profess an opinion. It was the performance of a condemned man, someone who is hiding a lot of information he does not want the public to know.

Surely the Bank of England could see what was happening with regard to the Barclay's fraud? But then in their own way are they not complicit in a fraud to keep interest rates so low that savers are being penalised? Are they not printing money using the term 'quantitive easing' to ensure that interest rates remain low? Is this not a dangerous practice and a fraudulent deception?

I fear that this lack of integrity by a few politicians and bankers will eventually impact on us all. Our financial industry could be much closer to the brink than most of us know. It will only stop when someone is jailed and made to repay the bonuses that they have earned during the period of malpractice.

The public are angry. We don't need more lengthy, expensive enquiries where the guilty can hide behind a curtain of civility. We want fraudsters in the dock being pilloried by sharp tongued barristers. We want to see them suffer and before this story breaks even further I will bet now that the guilty will include as many politicians as it does bankers.

Everywhere we look we stumble upon corruption. Last night Channel Four took a murky peep behind the scenes of the Olympics where overinflated prices and dirty accommodation were highlighted. There seems at present a total absence of integrity in modern Britain and that stems from the top.

Syria and the Puppets!

It is all so predictable! Now William Hague, our Foreign Secretary, is advocating that we intervene in Syria as we did in Bosnia! They are cranking up the pressure day after day. Hague, who is increasingly looking like a rabbit caught in the headlights of a stunt that he cannot control, is fulfilling my prediction.

It is inevitable because the banking fraternity have decided that Syria must come under central control and they will make it happen regardless of the consequences. It has happened so often! Our troops will now be turned into the role of mercenaries at the behest of bankers.

I do not deny that there is a problem in Syria. I just dispute who has caused it. Libya was a stable society until the bankers decided that they wanted in. It might not have been perfect but from what I read it is now a disaster area. Iraq was also in their own way stable until the western alliances intervened. Afghanistan does not need or want our interference. All three are tribal societies who cannot recognise our style of government. Perhaps their societies, which have existed for centuries, are better than our society where bankers are allowed to corrupt every aspect of government.

In the States President Obama is now preparing for the final assault and once again our military are the mercenaries. Our troops are being used as mercenaries for the ambitions of the bankers.

The actions of our politicians and press are being daily exposed at the Leveson Inquiry where they are now reduced to accusing each other of lying on oath. They have all been corrupted by money and power! Their world is beginning to crumble as country after country in the EU begs for help. They are all destitute because of the avarice of the bankers. Nobody will reform the banks because they are all in thrall of their paymasters.

I will say it again and again. We must divorce ourselves from the EU. We must not believe the mainstream media (in particular the abject BBC) AND at the earliest opportunity we must never again give a single vote to Lab/Lib/Con! Very few of our MPs are independently minded. Far too many have been bought and paid for by bankers and their corrupt system.

Oh come on now Mr Cameron!

There comes a time in modern politics when the politicians want me to forget all the common sense that I have built up over the years. If you listen to this crowd of what Lord Sugar might describe as 'schmoosers' (spelling) then I sometimes just shake my head.  So let me reappraise the BSkyB situation using what we know are facts. First of all the LibDem Minister in charge of the BSkyB bid was Vince Cable who proved himself to be the silly old man by being stitched up by a couple of young, female,Tory journalists!

He was instantly replaced by Jeremy Hunt. It was a quick decision taken by a PM who has already demonstrated extensively links to the Murdoch Empire. First of all News International switched their support from New Labour to the Conservatives following the election of David Cameron to the leadership of the Conservative party. OK it did not take a genius to realise that politically Gordon Brown was a loser but David Cameron then owed the Murdoch Empire a huge favour.

They wanted their bid to succeed and of all the candidates it has subsequently transpired that Jeremy Hunt was an avid supporter of the Murdoch Empire. If you want a fair decision he was clearly almost the last person that should have been selected.

Perhaps David Cameron did not know how close Jeremy Hunt was to News International but that is somehow difficult to believe. David Cameron is almost a paid up member of News International! He employed their former phone hacking guru Andy Coulson as his Chief of Staff and is 'best friends' with Charlie Brooks who happily is married to the former editor of the News of the World ...Rebekah!

So...if the bid was in trouble thanks to good old Vince and his two glamorous journalists then did Dave not need a safe pair of hands to ensure that 'justice' was done? Step forward Jeremy who is so 'Murdoch' orientated that he is 'almost' on the payroll. That embarrassing E-Mail stating 'only Ofcom to go' should have instantly disqualified him from any subsequent involvement in the process. He was nakedly biased.

The PM is now in the altogether. His judgement has been stripped bare and he is relying on his charisma and oratory skills to win the day. Slowly this Coalition is unravelling but then every government since Margaret Thatcher has unravelled because they are all living a lie. All the politicians who are beholding to the corporatocracies (multi nationals like News International) currently fill every front bench position.

What the Leveson Enquiry has illustrated is that we cannot trust our front bench politicians. They are all too close to big business. They all have agendas which conflict with public opinion. There is a huge, rotten, cabal operating at the heart of our political process which needs to be reversed. The problem is that it is so huge, so all encompassing that it probably cannot be reversed.

Once Syria falls and it now seems inevitable that Assad will go the same way as Saddam and Ghadafi then only North Korea and Cuba remain before the bankers have control of the world. I read that American special forces are already embedded in North Korea.  My concern about the Leveson Enquiry is that it will eventually be used to suppress the freedom of the press. I do blether on don't I?

Is there a New Game in Town?

During the time that I have been writing this blog I have heard from many interesting people and have ventured down many avenues of discovery. Time after time however, I arrive at the same conclusion that the modern world is under a huge malign influence. It has led me to the conclusion that I cannot trust any of the leading modern figureheads. Most of them have created a huge governmental apparatus protected by the police and as such have changed almost every western democracy into police states largely akin to East Germany.

At present almost every western European country and the United States are mired in unprecedented debt. This debt is threatening to destroy entire countries but how has it been created? Who is lending these countries unspeakable sums which in some cases will never be paid back.

On every occasion the trail leads back to the Rothschild banking empire. It is very difficult to pin down the scale of the problem but I read recently that only three countries in the world, North Korea, Iran and Cuba are not dependent on a Rothschild Central Bank. Up until 9/11 there were more which included Libya, Afghanistan, Syria, Sudan and Iraq. Can you see where this is leading?

On 23 August 2011 I speculated on why Colonel Gadaffi had become a target for The Powers That Be. I have no insider knowledge and I have no friends in politics but it seemed pretty obvious why the leader of Libya was following Saddam Hussein. Neither of them would join the club.

In 2008 Iceland faced a huge financial crisis caused by corrupt banking practice and poor government. At the time they were on the verge of applying for membership of the EU. The Icelanders have reacted superbly and done what all countries should do. They replaced their government with 'real people', arrested the bankers and organised a repayment scheme to debtors. You can read about it here.

On the surface it appears that they have rejected the Rothschild approach to finance and elected an impartial government committed to their people. They are surviving without the EU which according to most of our mainstream politicians is not possible!

Perhaps some of our western politicians should realise that historically borrowing from the Rothschild empire is not a good idea. Perhaps we should invent a new game in town and try to rub along without their 'assistance'. First however we must find people who are prepared not to be corrupted.

How could this happen?

Everyday I learn more and everyday I fear for the future of my grandchildren. It would appear that, thanks to a nefarious collection of bankers and politicians, the financial system that we all depend upon is being wrecked from within. Major economies are systematically having their credit rating down graded because the financiers fear that the individual countries cannot meet their debts.

Recently France went down the tubes ( I won't even talk about Portugal, Italy, Greece and Spain) but at least we always have the good old USA to prop up the western economies with their sound dollar...but do we?

I have just read an article which gave me the 'heebie jeebies' because it confirms the rumours that 'Uncle Sam' has been ruined by four years of Barack Obama and his mates in exactly the same way that Gordon Brown ruined the UK! Our PM always talks about the importance of our triple 'A' credit rating which is so important because it ensures that the financiers believe that our economy is stable and we can pay back our debts.

Now comes the news that the United States has lost their AAA rating. That should be a huge story in the mainstream media but did you know? It gets worse because the USA lost it's AAA rating in July 2011 and the recent downgrading was from AA+ to AA!! Can you imagine that the United States is financially in the same state as Greece!!!

In reality, thanks to the policies and agenda of Barack Obama and his cohorts, the United States is skint. Read the report ....they are broke! So what does that mean for the world? When the USA cannot keep ahead of the arms race then someone will challenge them. That could lead to a World War.

I fear the world is in a parlous state. There is little doubt that there has been a concerted effort from on high to rebalance the scales and reduce the 'comfort' of western European society. We have been invaded, our culture has been denigrated, our economy wrecked and   our military power reduced. It is so intentional and obvious but at the same time they have also dumbed down education and cushioned the 'unwashed' from reality.

The 'people' are being protected but the 'educated' are being attacked and destroyed. We 'the educated' do not have too many opportunities left to vote 'them' out of power. It may already be too late. Our next opportunity will be at the May local elections. It could be the last! One thing is for certain they are not telling us the truth. They dare not tell us the truth. The truth is extremely scary!

I do not want to believe this?

I do not want to believe the article that I am about to post on here. I know nothing about the author or his origins but I only know that so much of it has the ring of truth. We are daily getting warnings from so many quarters that the bankers and the corporatocracies have become so greedy that they have 'corpsed' the financial system which we all have trust in.

The major western governments are so desperate to retain their hold on power that they are wasting billions on war and sacrificing thousands of lives. Our financial system is in disarray because we are printing money to meet our commitments. If we do not find another way of balancing the books then what is left? What can we trust? Who can we trust?

If you are a seriously minded individual read this article and then think about what is going on. We all know that it cannot continue in the same vein. It is crazy economics to allow the bankers to grant themselves these enormous bonuses. It is crazy economics to allow Town Hall fat cats their inflated salaries. It is crazy economics to give away a nation's wealth to countries who do not deserve or need it. It is crazy economics to grant millions every day to an unelected political union that the people do not want.

I reckon we have very little time left to get rid of the Political Class who have corrupted the country. If we don't turn the tide then we will face the consequences. The Britain today is unrecognisable from the Britain that I grew up in. They are wrong and we are right so please use your vote wisely in the forthcoming local elections. Please do not endorse their nonsense!

It is amazing...in this age of austerity!

In this age of austerity have you noticed how it never applies to the 'modernisers'? In an age when we, the public, cannot afford public toilets or libraries the 'modernisers' can afford high speed railways, another London airport, an Olympics, a royal yacht and a huge bail out of the euro?

It is ridiculous! They never stop spending taxpayer's money. They cannot understand that we cannot afford their ambition. In my household I have a budget. I know what I can afford. At the moment I can afford everything that I pay for but if the going gets tough then what do I cut? First on the agenda would be Sky TV... it is a luxury that I love but when the going gets tough it would get chopped and so in government terms that could mean stopping our contributions to the European Union because it is an expensive luxury that we can't afford.

Then we have savings. Today we can still save for our future but if inflation continues to rise we would have to cut back. In government terms it means that we cannot afford the lavish Foreign Aid that we dispense to countries with better growth than ourselves. It is just common sense.

I will never understand why all our international commitments cost we, the British, so much money. Four French soldiers get killed in Afghanistan and immediately Sarkozy threatens to withdraw the French contingent. Four!? We have been in Afghanistan longer than the Second World War. The cost in manpower has been horrific and nobody has yet been able to explain why we, an island nation, can  have our security threatened by marauding Afghans! The official excuse is pathetic so there must be another reason for so much loss of life. The cost is also horrific and so I must just concede that we are being fleeced.

Do you understand what I am saying? We do not need to beg or borrow our way out of debt. We just cut our cloth to what we can afford. I do not need SKY TVor savings to survive. I can cut so much if I have to and so can the government. They can cut so much frivolous spending, starting with their own bar and dining facility, but then they choose not to and you still vote for them! It is still time to refuse to vote ConDemLab. Don't give them your approval. They are cheating on you but when will you get the message?

We cannot afford it!

My daughter has just bought me a book by an economist called John Perkins entitled 'Hoodwinked'. I am about 10 pages into it and the language is somewhat confusing but the message is already filtering into my brain.

Governments across the world have been 'hoodwinked' by massive corporations to forget their tried and tested financial regulations and invest in risky projects. It has resulted in the massive debts run up by so many countries across the world.

Parliament  and the Financial Services Agency watched as Gordon Brown and his cohorts (almost?) wrecked one of the largest economies in the world. We, the public, also watch as our politicians continually launch projects which will cost the country billions. In every city, town and village we watch helplessly as services are cut to follow the austerity programme imposed upon us by politicians who to this day enjoy their subsidised life in Westmonster.

In the meantime as one failed project after another eats into our economy they continue to invest in monstrous white elephants.  They will not abandon foreign aid to countries far better placed financially than we are, our contribution to the EU is ridiculous, we are fighting an unwinnable war in Afghanistan, bombing Libya cost us billions, then the over budget Olympics and now a project (HS2) costed at £32 billion and already forecast to double that.

It will never stop until we cut our ties to the EU. It will never stop until we defeat the 'modernisers', those servants of the EU who infect every major political party. I am beginning to sound like a cracked record but there is a simple reason that HS2 should be cancelled. WE cannot afford it! There are also a hundred other reasons to cancel it but the bottom line is we cannot afford it. This government, despite all of the PM's rhetoric, is still borrowing billions every month. It must cease.

Before people lose their homes, their land, the countryside, nature reserves and our sanity we the public must halt this madness.  Somehow we must get the message to the politicians that we have had enough. If we don't then ruination is the only possible outcome.

National Debt is 1.47 trillion pounds!! All out brothers!

The Chancellor today fed everyone the bad news and now we know that the National Debt is collossal. This is the backdrop to the Public Service workers strike tomorrow where they will take to the streets waving their flags demonstrating to retain a pension that the nation cannot afford.

I can understand that they want to keep their wealth but the country is in the mess because their party, the Labour Party, ruined the economy of the country. It was 13 years of socialist mismanagement (which had to be deliberate) which has cost them their pensions so there is no point in continuing to be angry because they supported the very people who let them down.

Let them ask Gordon Brown where the money went! let them ask Gordon Brown why he signed us away to Europe! Let them ask why our soldiers are constantly assigned to wars that we cannot afford. We are skint and we have been fighting a pointless war for years now.

I have been listening to the politicians and their petty point scoring but nobody seems capable of addressing our real needs. They must have known that Bombardier in Derby desperately needed the railway contract that they awarded to Siemens. Our politicians, on all sides, should start backing Britain. All major government contracts should stay in the country.

We must tell the EU that we cannot keep subsidising their profligacy. All Foreign Aid, with the exception of emergency aid, should cease immediately. We must tighten up on immigration and that means seeking out 'illegals' who are milking the welfare system. We must also seriously review welfare payments and introduce a time limit on unemployment benefit. I would also limit child benefit to two children.

I have no idea what penalties the government placed on the banks but if they still owe the nation money then that money should be repaid before they pocket any further bonuses. The Tories should also implement their election promise to cap the salaries of the town Hall Fatcats.

If we could only see an effort being made to reduce the huge expenditure by the politicians then I think that many who will walk out tomorrow may think again. However it doesn't appear that any of those responsible can stop our taxes from being frittered away in a never ending tide of ineptitude. The public sector will march tomorrow knowing full well that what they want is unaffordable but what the hell when you are surrounded by greed it becomes contagious.

The European Union...but can you blame me?

Everyone who has ever passed this blog knows that for over three years I have criticized and denograted the efforts by some leading members of the EU to lead us into the promised land! The EU has corrupted every aspect of our national values and is determined to banish democracy into the wilderness.

Nothing about the EU is democratic. The only people who have any real power are the commissioners and I don't think any of them have been elected. Most of them have been appointed like 'Baroness' Cathy Ashton who picked up a NoLab peerage on her way to being our most important politician despite the fact that none of us have ever voted for her.

So is anyone surprised that the people who have formed this toxic liaison have actually buggered it all up. Greece is bust...there are questions about well...Ireland, Portugal, Spain, France and even the UK!! However the most imminent economy under the spotlight belongs to Italy.

Now let's not mince words...Italy!? Italy is a huge economy...it would take an absolute genius to spend Italy into a financial catastrophe! What on earth were the worlds' bankers doing lending Italy and Greece so much money that they would eventually go broke?

It would now appear that every mainstream politician in Western Europe has been an ignorant and irresponsible t**t. All of them have been incapable of responsible government...except Angela Merkel. So why is Germany the only responsible government in western Europe? What is different about Germany? Which country has been behind the EU from the start? Which country has retained a huge manufacturing base? Which country appears to have control of the banks?

You see I just don't believe that all these countries have spent their way into oblivion unless it was engineered. I have always suspected that dirty work inside the EU was afoot and the efforts of Gordon Brown and his NoLab cohorts to ruin our economy backed up my feeling. He knew what he was doing and he also knew that he would not be facing a judge so who was protecting him? Who allows these politicians to spend the wealth of their country so wildly that they end up trillions in debt?

I do not believe that they were all that idiotic so on this scale it must have been a massive conspiracy. I just wonder what the ultimate aim of these people will turn out to be?

The European Bailouts!

I return yet again to the huge threat of the bailout of Greece and the threat to the euro. Today in the Daily Mail Norman Lamont, the former chancellor, is expounding a theory that our EU leaders are proposing a scam to rescue their dreams.

I fear that this debt mountain is rising ever higher and that further efforts to solve the crisis are futile. What I cannot understand is that, in the face of incontrovertible evidence that the European Union and its currency has failed, why do our mainstream politicians not face fact?

Why can none of them admit that they were wrong? Why can they not admit that to hand over our sovereignty to foreign unelected powers was in effect an act of treason? When are they going to explain to the British public that all the quangos are funded by Europe and they have been a total waste of money?

It is no wonder that Merkel and Sarkozy are desperate to find a way out of the mess because if they don't then the whole pack of cards collapses and the scam is over. I cannot understand why they are all scrabbling around the Liam Fox 'affair' when a much deeper crisis is on our door step. Similarly we have just had three party political conferences and the major topic was swept under the carpet.
Far too many reputations are on the line!

Foreign Aid

Just when you think that it cannot get any worse, just when you believe that you have seen and heard it all a story appears to cap every other corrupt activity related to this government.

It is bad enough that so much money is being directed at African despots without any monitoring programme but to pay an individual so much money for dereliction of duty is inexcusable. It is not surprising that the individual concerned had close links to Tony Blair. Every time I open a newspaper something rotten emerges which had its roots to 'Teflon' Tony.

David Cameron can no longer complain that the taxpayer has to understand why we are currently in a period of austerity. It is becoming clearer by the day that the austerity only concerns the general public. Gordon Brown took the country to the brink of bankruptcy and despite their protestations of innocence the Coalition are finishing the job. Two expensive wars, a European Union which pours money into a black hole and an Aid budget which allows African leaders to buy up Paris is sufficient evidence that there is something deeply threatening about the intentions of our mainstream politicians.

Add in our huge welfare bill which has its links to mass immigration, the continued reluctance of the government to award contracts to home based companies (Bombardier for example) and the lack of will to police the benefits system and you may begin to get the picture. Throw in the enormous salaries of the Town Hall fat cats and the quangos who are appointed by Common Purpose and sometimes it appears that the world has gone mad. But never mind we pay in so much in tax that it will take an enormous effort to completely ruin the country. They will manage it in the end but we may cling on for a few years yet.

They are lucky though because the English won't monitor their behaviour. 'We' still believe that the Tories are the 'toffs' that Labour represents the working class and that the Liberals are nice guys in sandals. 'We' still don't discuss religion or politics in the pub.  'We' even believe that the Queen is still head of state even though there are some who explain it otherwise!

I have always thought that what happens in the USA is a precursor to what will happen in the UK. From what I read they are about to go bust!! What will happen when the day comes that we are so in debt that the pensions that we have all earned cannot be paid! You will all listen then I'll bet.

At last there is a plan....

I do not blindly believe that the Coalition is the panacea to all our troubles but hearing George Osbourne today I have to admit that at least he had a plan. For years we could see our National Debt rising unchecked by NoLab and nobody offering any form of coherent plan to rein in spending.

Today the same bunch of chancers under the guise of the Shadow Chancellor, Alan Johnson, had the temerity to challenge the government plan even though in thirteen years they had not proffered one radicle proposal to tackle the National Debt. They are clueless when it comes to hard fact and the fact that the Coalition has hit the ground running emphasises their lack of action.

I am beginning to get the impression that NoLab was all about personal infighting and the country has suffered as a result. Whatever, listening to a Chancellor with ideas, enthusiasm and intention contrasted sharply with the lack of energy depicted by Brown, Darling and Co in their closing years. The NoLab front bench is a busted flush and I think today demonstrated that Ed Miliband suddenly realised he now has to play with the big boys and he has very poor cards to play with.

The Taxpayers Alliance

The Taxpayers Alliance are currently circulating their own version of the National Debt. They admit that much of it is speculation but it looks pretty accurate to me. Some of the figures are terrifying not just because the deficit is SO large but it proves that both banks and the government during the past few years have been utterly incompetent.

Firstly it nails the NoLab lie that the banks were solely to blame for the rise in the National Debt. For almost a decade not only did they allow the Debt to rise by £500 billion but they also failed to check the rise of the unfunded public sector pensions which climbed unchecked by £800 billion.

That is unbelievable and it proves that the public sector has burgeoned under NoLab to a point where we clearly cannot afford the resulting public sector pensions.

What really shivered my timbers however was the extent to which we had to bail out the banks. I had no idea that according to the TPA figures we had to find in 2008/9 £3439 billion pounds! Now these are supposedly professional finance experts but they must have been gambling with such disregard for consequence that it had to be criminal.

How on earth can any responsible government allow them to continue to milk bonuses considering their abject performance in the past. This is another lie nailed because if these are the same guys who benefit from the bonus system because they are the best in the business how come they lost all that money?

The last lie exposed by the TPA is the size of the official National Debt. The government owns up to an official debt of£890 billion but the TPA have added on unfunded public sector pensions, unfunded state pensions, the RBS/Lloyds debt, PFI (capital only), Network Rail debt, deficit on Local Government PS, nuclear decommissioning and sundry other deficits and the total national debt rises to £7873 billion!! A government has to be either extremely incompetent or corrupt to mass that kind of deficit.
