When will it Stop?

Day after day we have revelations that some public servants are creaming off huge amounts in almost any available scam.  They can call it what they like but severance payments, bonus payments or huge retirement pension pots are being creamed off by a small cartel of chief executives.  Once you have broken through the glass ceiling then millions are on offer.

The main perpetrators are the Civil Service, the BBC, the NHS, Local Government and a huge group of quangos.  They are all sucking on the teat of the public purse.  There is a huge row on the severance payments of top BBC executives.  They have been gorging themselves on our money. Then G4S have been discovered (not for the first time) to be cheating the public on security.

Let's face it this country is mired in corruption.  The people who are emerging at the top of every tree are generally corrupt. We cannot trust anyone anymore.  The people who the BBC and the mainstream media regularly feature are all playing a game and are being richly rewarded.

The game being played by all our EU supporting politicians/public servants and trade union chiefs is simple.  Spend as much as you want from the public purse because we must bankrupt the country as quickly as possible.  Nobody is even trying to stop it!  Even the politicians are in line for a pay rise despite their expenses and subsidies.

This country should follow the example of Cairo but then we don't care enough.  We accept that all these crooks can grab millions of our public money and they know that nobody will care enough to protest!  We are all mugs and deserve everything that we get!!

Vote Rigging - Proof!

In Derby today four Muslim women have been charged with electoral fraud and one of them with misconduct in public office.  I have long been of the opinion that some of our results were suspect and now my suspicions have been confirmed.  I posted on this subject only 10 days ago!

With the rise of corruption emanating from the EU with its reluctance to face an audit it was only a matter of time before people began to explore ways to corrupt elections.  Once again however, it is the Muslim community who are under the microscope and can you blame them?  They understand that power corrupts so they will find ways to access that power.  

They, despite all the rhetoric, have people within their community who, because of their traditions, will order corruption.  I do not believe that it is a coincidence that all four charged are women.  It appears that one of them was a council worker who traditionally regard the position of teller as a perk of their job.

It is not yet an 'English' trait but give it time.  We must now tighten up our electoral processes.  Postal voting must be overhauled. The position of teller or electoral administrator should be investigated.  Anyone with links to candidates or parties should be disqualified from counting.

For the record last year in the Arboretum ward of Derby the Muslim standing for Labour beat the Muslim standing for the LibDems by 14 votes.  They have caught four of them but I do wonder given the closeness of this contest how accurate the result really was?

I am particularly concerned that in the case investigated in Derby it appears that it was fratricide but what would the three disgraced Westmonster parties do to stop the rise of UKIP?

Today in rural Leicestershire the people had a small victory. The Chairman of our County Council who has been in league with Brussels for many years, despite being a Conservative, has resigned! At last he has been ousted after discrepancies with his expense claims had been questioned.


This is the man who in the past five years  has claimed a million pounds in expenses. This has come out of the council tax that we pay for public services. Councillor Parsons resigned today prior to facing a vote of no confidence from his own party. He has clung on for weeks despite mounting evidence that he had cheated the system.


What now? His resignation is an admission of guilt. He knew that he was at the end of the line. Is it not now the duty of the County Council authorities to pursue an enquiry into everything that this councillor has claimed and put him into a dock? He must be made to repay every penny that he swindled out of the public purse.


He must be pursued with the full force of the law just as an example to so many others who think that they are above it. This is the man who made the taxpayers pay for limousines for the weddings of his children. We also paid for him to attend local theatres and to motoring events at Silverstone. He has milked every opportunity to steal from the taxpayer. He MUST now face a judge!

More Local Government Sleaze!

Hardly have the Leicestershire electorate recovered from the decision of the County Standards Committee to severely censure the County Council Chairman for ignoring the Council's code of conduct over his expenses than another case emerges!  


This time a former Lord Mayor of Leicester has coerced senior officers of the Council to write off his parking tickets and provide him with parking exemptions that he was not entitled to. The chairman of the Leicester City 'Standards Committee' has stated publicly that they would have had him suspended if that was in their range of powers.


If they cannot have him suspended then why are they in business? Effectively they are letting these villains off scot free! They should be in the dock because they are committing crimes. I don't just mean the councillors. I also mean the officers who allowed themselves to be coerced.


Now apparently the former Lord Mayor of Leicester did not attend the hearing as he was on holiday at the time and says he intends to appeal. Surely between the Standards Committee and the accused they could have arranged a hearing date which suited them both? If my integrity was under such scrutiny then I am sure I would have cancelled the holiday.


In the meantime I just wonder how the 'Further Training' ordered for the Chairman of the County Council is proceeding. Have they for example got to the point where he has opened the rule book on claiming expenses? Does his wife still deal with the money that he receives from the European Union? Has she read the rule book or is she still working out how he managed to claim a million pounds in expenses over the past five years?


Does anyone else not think that the whole, rotten, corrupt system should be investigated by independent auditors and not by insiders on various 'Standards Committees' who seem hell bent on keeping these arrogant public purse pilferers in positions where they can still do maximum damage?!

Accountability in Local Government

Here in rural Leicestershire we have recently had a case where the Chairman of our County Council has been found guilty of bringing the council into disrepute after breaking the council's code of conduct over his expenses.  Of course it transpired that his wife handled all his finances (not me Guv) and he had no idea what was coming in and out of his accounts. I reiterate he IS Chairman of the County Council!

This is the same man who in the last five years has racked up over a million pounds in expenses including £210,000 paid to a chauffeur to drive him to the theatre and events like Silverstone! Some councillors have called for him to be removed from office but predictably justice has descended into a party political issue and his own side (Conservative) voted to retain his services.

So his 'punishment',imposed by the council's quaintly termed 'Standards Committee', is a serious censure which means he must undergo further training and apologise to the council!! This is a man who failed to repay expenses received when he visited Brussels (to receive his orders from the EU). They have a ridiculous system where East Midlands Council (funded by us) pay for him to go to Brussels and Brussels then gives him money to repay the EMC! We don't yet know how much the EU gave him but he failed to reimburse the EMC (or perhaps his wife did).

If he cannot conduct his own financial affairs in an appropriate manner how on earth can he chair the County Council? His conduct has been disgraceful but amazingly he is allowed to continue to plunder the public purse and we the electorate allow it.

It is an indictment on local government and clearly illustrates that we cannot trust our local councillors. They will do anything to retain their party political battle lines but when push comes to shove they all vote for the same system. We cannot afford to maintain public toilets and libraries but we can allow one individual a million pounds in expenses! I just wonder what the rest are claiming?

The Public Sector

I have an ongoing dialogue with a guy called 'Bewick' who lives in Northumberland and at one time worked in the public sector. For whatever reason he has honed into this blog and comments quite often. He is clearly well educated, literate and concerned.

When he 'comments' he guides me with the benefit of his considerable experience and he doesn't always agree with me. That is good and I respect his views. Recently however, he actually summed up the problems that we have in modern society. As ever the public are being conned by the Labour party. You remember the Labour party; born out of a desire to represent the working class and now the enemy of anything sensible.

Ed Miliband, an absolute loser on all aspects stood up in Westmonster yesterday and pretended to be the representative of the dinner ladies, the cleaners and the lower paid! He really has no idea how to relate to the lower paid because he probably has never, ever met any of them!

So what is missing? The problem with the pensions in the public sector is that, when 'Bewick' and I worked in the public sector then we had relatively modest salaries. Even the Chief Officers had a reasonable salary and their pensions were measured accordingly.

In the meantime the salaries of the public sector have gone through the roof! Now their greed has exceeded our income! The Union chiefs for example have accelerated the grasp for public money. They have awarded themselves huge salaries and nobody seems capable of moderating their avarice.  The Town Hall fat cats are at the top of the pyramid but underneath them are countless public sector employees who expect and demand that we fund their gold plated pensions.

It really is not about 'dinner ladies' (can Miliband descend any lower?) it is all about affordability. We cannot afford pensions on the scale that the public sector have awarded themselves. The unions are conning the public. Their greed is coming home to roost. They had their day of action and frankly the only people who suffered were their own low paid single mothers. 

Personally I only noticed an increase of traffic on the road and more people in Tesco's! Is it not time that that the Labour party and their sole sponsors, the trade unions, cared a little more for the pathetic, ignorant, uneducated individuals who continue to vote for them! Yeah Right! 

The £100,000 Public Sector Club

Most of us now believe that  public sector salaries are out of control. This is not just happening in this country it is also happening in the United States and if we are to believe the video on YouTube featuring Curtis Bowers entitiled 'Grinding down America' which I featured a few days ago it is a deliberate attempt to undermine both countries from within.

It is actually a very cunning plan. Some time in our lives we all become vulnerable, we get ill, have accidents, become old, get burgled or have children. In every instance we need assistance which we pay for through our taxes. Invariably we admire the people who come to our assistance because often they face danger and work unsocial hours.

Now if you going to undermine countries from within what better than to subvert the very organisations that we trust and rely upon. I believe that this is what has happened and it has been through the media of 'Health and Safety'. All our emergency services have been neutered by Health and Safety regulations and risk assessments to such an extent that we have had policemen watching people drown unable to act through fear of contravening the rules.

How did it happen? It is my opinion the secretive government recruitment organisation 'Common Purpose' have recruited malleable individuals to ensure that their plan is implemented (Common Purpose is alleged to have EU support). We have therefore seen our vital services disrupted to such an extent that even we can't trust them any more.

In every case we have individuals on salaries of £100,000 or more ensuring that they our vital services remain inoperable. This is their reward for their treachery. This is how their loyalty is bought. It is a classic ploy used by the Rothschilds centuries ago and still appears effective in modern times.

Today in the Daily Mail comes news that 1000 head teachers now earn over £100,000 per annum. Nobody in public service deserves a six figure salary. It is way over the top but every time I read of a six figure public sector salary I damned well know what their brief is. We are probably the only country in Europe where our children cannot play safely in the streets.

Our children cannot play outdoors despite all the six figure public sector salaries. Our elderly are not safe in our hospitals despite the six figure public sector salaries. Our 999 calls are ignored despite the six figure public sector salaries. Many children leave education unable to read or write despite six figure public sector salaries. I could continue all morning but you all know that my laments mirror life for the public in today's society.

So when you read of someone in the public sector being rewarded with a six figure salary then you also know that they are probably serving an alien power dedicated to bringing the country down from within. They have an alien agenda and we must not trust them. This country used to have a crime called 'treason' until the politicians removed it from the statute books!

Town Hall Madness! (continued)

    Andrea Hill - CEO Suffolk County Council earns £218,592 per annum

The profligacy of the Town Hall fatcats is fast becoming the scandal of the decade. The sheer waste of council tax income is clearly massive and although the socialist councils are probably the most ingenious in thinking up crazy non-jobs the malaise is not confined to them.

Local government salaries have gone through the roof as the Dail Mail articulates today and there is little doubt that some of the larger city councils are hell bent on scoring political points at the expense of the people who pay their council tax.

The pay off culture is clearly another avenue which allows council staff to milk the public purse but to compensate staff for redundancy with six figure pay-offs is way beyond the bounds of decency. What on earth are the auditors doing these days because I see this as a massive fraud being perpetrated on the public? Someone in government authority must impose some rules. Come on Mr Pickles you said that you would tackle them; it is happening on your watch!

Council bosses still feeding at the public trough....!

There is growing anger on the Blogosphere at the inability of David Cameron and in particular Communities Minster, Eric Pickles, to impose any form of pay restraint on local council bosses, many of whom still pay themselves in excess of £200,000! I well remember the publicity received by Cameron on the run up to the last election when he committed himself to a review of the salaries that are making a significant dent in local services.

Many of the socialist councils are cutting public transport rather than persuading their leading officers to cut their salaries. It is still one of the worst scandals in the country and yet another Tory promise that has bitten the dust...like the bonfire of Quangoes!

These council bosses are really spitting in the face of the public because frankly they contribute very little to the economy in comparison to the private sector and nobody in local government should be paid more than the PM. It is a waste of council tax particularly in this age of austerity which came about because of people like them.

The Public Payroll

One of the many aspects of political behaviour which infuriates the public is the immense waste of taxpayer's money. Barrowloads of public money is being distributed in every direction other than where it should be going and that is providing services for the public.

During the past 13 years under the NoLab government the rise in the public payroll has been spectacular. A recent Freedom of Information request has revealed that 9000 people on the public payroll are being paid more than the Prime Minister. Now to my mind if the PM is being paid his salary to run the country then everyone else scales down from that.

This is the reason that some of the examples of unparalled greed in the public sector beggar belief. The Chief Executive of Wandsworth Borough Council receives almost £300,000 which means that in his eyes Wandsworth is almost twice as important as the rest of the UK! Apparently the rest of the Public payroll scale down from him but there are notable exceptions. A GP from Hillingdon reputedly earning £475,000 per annum, a teacher from Essex earning £232,000 and the head of the BBC crowns everyone (of course) as he creams off £832,000 of licence payer's money without batting an eyelid.

If The Coalition is to maintain credibility it must address this huge misuse of public funds. These salaries are a crime against the public. Many of these Heads of Departments are prepared to close vital public services rather than submit themselves to a realistic appraisal of their own role in the public service. It has to be imposed upon them and until it is then the public has reason to believe that they are being criminally shortchanged.

The Local Government scandal ...

We all pay such high Council Tax that it is beyond comprehension that almost every council in the land cannot afford to fund what the taxpayers need. We desperately need care homes for the elderly, education for the kids, libraries, decent roads and hygienic, organised waste collection. The list continues and yet we are continually informed that Councils cannot afford almost anything.

The question I ask is Why? If they are competent financially then any council can fund the essential services unless...someone is taking too much out of the system. That is the crux of the matter. Somebody is taking too much out of the system and they are almost all Chief Officer and Councillors!

The salaries and expenses of local councillors and chief officers has gone through the roof in recent years. It would appear that, like everything else, under NoLab we throw huge amounts of money at the problems that we have but nobody monitors what happens to the money.

This is the scandal. Councillors and Chief Officers are taking far, far, too much out of the limited pot and the next government has to curb their excesses. The scandal is once again that Westmonster has been exposed for their greed and the next government has to expose the Local Government 'troughers' just like Heather Brooks exposed the Westmonsters!
