Iceland ....Leaders of a World Free of Multinational Corporations?

Back in May last year I posted about the situation in Iceland where in 2008 their banking system had been looted and their financial sector had collapsed with debts beyond belief.  The people and their elected politicians not least their Prime Minister, Sigmundor David Gunnlaugsson, responded by disbanding some banks and jailing the bankers.

Since then they have opted out of the European Union, they have formed only three relatively small domestic banks to keep the economy going and have gone from strength to strength.  They also adopted sensible and pragmatic economic measures to ensure that their economy recovered and prospered.  They now appear to be a very wealthy little nation.

Now here is the crux!  Their politicians served their people.  Their politicians showed a sense of national pride and their politicians were not on the take from the international corporations who have brought such misery to the people.  Their Prime Minister is a Prime Minister and not a furtive corporate leader.

They do not squander millions every day on the EU.  They don't ignore public opinion and continue to donate our money to China, India, Pakistan and Africa amidst outrage. They put Icelanders first and their country first.  Iceland is therefore an example to us all and it is going even further.

Iceland is as aware as most of us are that we are being snooped upon by 'big' government like never before.  They have therefore introduced 'Unseen.is' a rival to 'Skype' and 'E-Mail' based in Iceland.  Potentially this is a huge stride forward in an effort to release the shackles of the huge tax avoiding multinationals.

In my opinion this is genuine leadership.  It is the first instance of genuine, independent, national leadership since the EU was hoist upon us all through the back door.  The Icelanders seem to be determined to make their mark.  I wish them so much luck because I fear that they may need it.  If you have mercenary tendencies you might like to fight for an independent Iceland!

The 'Loons' may soon be Running the Asylum!

Ever since I began this blog I have insisted that the mass immigration that was inflicted on this country by NoLab (as I called them at that time) was controlled and organised by the Home Office.  At that time I worked for the Asylum Appeals Centre and had access to the case histories of so many so called immigrants.

Now the arrogant and dubious Lord Peter Mandelson has apparently admitted that the mass immigration program was organised by NoLab.  Surely that is treason? He may now be out of the firing line but what about the current front line Labour politicians? It is now clear, following the revelations of Mandelson, that the Labour Party actively organised mass immigration into this country with the connivance of the Home Office.

He has however implicated most of the leading Labour politicians of today who must have known the NoLab agenda. How can Ed Miliband, Ed Balls, Mrs Balls, Harriet Harman and the rest of this dubious crew face the public now that we all know their awful agenda?  They changed the face of the country and they think that  we don't know.

Across the country they have paid for their duplicity. In the recent county council elections the support for Labour has evaporated. From Cornwall to Kent right across the southern counties with hundreds of seats at stake Labour gained just 60!  This included nothing in Dorset, one in Surrey, Buckinghamshire and Somerset and only two in Cornwall..

Apparently they owe the Co-Op bank three and a half million pounds and yet week after week Ed Miliband opposes David Cameron just as if he is a Prime Minister in waiting. Their support comes from pockets of inner city immigrants and the north who seem to be lost somewhere at the beginning of the twentieth century.  

We desperately need an English Parliament to correct the imbalance operating at Westmonster. Labour is clearly being propped up by support voters from Scotland and Wales and both countries have their own parliaments.

Don't get me wrong I have family and friends in Scotland which is probably why I am so militant on this subject. New Labour corrupted British society for their own ends. All of them committed treason by inviting alien nationals to enter the country illegally and them giving them a vote and it is still happening.

People who have never paid taxes are being granted the same rights as native born English people who have paid their taxes for so many years. These incomers have also been granted equal voting rights so who decided that?

The people are biting back through UKIP. This protest vote will grow now that the doubters can see that it is not a wasted vote.  David Cameron is a lost soul because he tried to be a LibDem whilst leading the Conservative party and the grass roots won't have it! I really doubt if the Coalition will last until 2015.

Cameron will realise that unless he dumps Clegg he will lose his premiership. If he dumps Clegg then they will all pounce on him. He is in a lose lose position and Farage is waiting in the wings. Unless they get their act together they will not last until 2015 which is brilliant. UKIP are organising for next year's MEP elections  because they are sniffing blood and all the main parties will suffer for their complacency. 

This political earthquake is long overdue and these arrogant mainstream politicians are at long last fearing the electorate.  I suspect the 'Loons' will soon be running the asylum!

The By Election at Corby

The resignation of Tory glamour girl Louise Mensch has possibly created the most interesting by election for some considerable time.

The result in 2010 was a gain by the Conservatives from Labour by a mere 1,951 votes.  The turnout was almost 70% and a Labour minister, Phil Hope, lost his seat. This appears to mean that the people of Corby are politically aware and that at the last election they were well brassed off with Gordon Brown and the Labour Party.

There is a good chance that many of them are previous Labour supporters who may use the defection of Ms Mensch (nee Bagshawe) to a family life in America to return to the fold and forget the damage done by the Labour politicians prior to the last election. They should remember however that this Labour front bench of people educated at posh schools are very different from the politicians that their parents and grandparents voted for.

The Conservatives seem to believe that they will not be able to retain the seat as the current Coalition is not proving successful and the Lib Dems may also have a candidate so what do the good citizens of Corby do? Like most of the country they have swung between the three main parties and nothing has changed. Corby is a working class town. Many of the people are descendants from hard working Scots who came south to work in the steel industry.  They like straight talking.

Since the last election another candidate has emerged from UKIP. Her name is Margot Parker who is a local business woman. Her policies reflect what most of us want and she is from Corby and the very environment that I have already described.

The voters from Corby have the very best chance to shout at our politicians that they are not happy. They have tried all the other main parties and look what they got? It is a by-election so it is an opportunity to put Corby on the map and vote UKIP! If she is no good then she can go in 2015 but what a chance to cause an absolute furore!

UKIP seem to think that she has a chance because they are gearing up for a massive push. If they don't make a splash here then I doubt if they ever will so I just hope that the people from Corby will think long and hard before voting for the same old tired cliche ridden parties who never succeed in anything apart from failure.

Happy New Year!

I wish any passing reader a Happy New Year! It is now two years since I began to ramble on this blog expressing my frustrations about modern life in the UK. It, of course, continues unabated with, in my opinion, little hope for the future.

Today I watched Michael Portillo fronting a programme about Great British Railways and it struck me just how much the Victorian era did to enhance the lives of the people of the day.

The Victorian values have almost disappeared in modern life. Courtesy, honour, respect, dignity, decency are all words despised in modern society and we seem to have nobody prepared to champion them.

Tonight, New Years Eve, there were so many young kids running around unattended at 11pm as I left my club that it reflected the state of the nation. Their parents did not give a damn, the kids had no respect for anything as they played wild around the bowling green and, shame on me, but for just one moment I wished for a malign force to descend and scoop one of the feral little gits off! It would take a tragedy of such a magnitude to force it onto the heads of these irresponsible parents that they have a duty of care.

So that is my final moan of the year! Next year I will continue to expose, complain and embarrass all of the authority forces who continue to break promises, steal from the public purse whilst destroying a once orderly society.

I really wish everyone a Happy New Year but I believe it may be a bumpy one!

So what would make you happy?

Apparently David Cameron is proposing a campaign to discover what makes people happy? Why would he want to do that unless he intends to follow up on it and how could he? It is quite obvious what makes people happy and even more so it is also obvious what makes them angry.

Most people want sufficient money to have a good quality of life. Most of us hold our family dear and value our friends. These are personal values most of which the PM cannot change. What he could do however, is deliver a fair society. There is so much inequality in our modern society mostly caused by the past thirteen years of socialist manipulation.

He should bring back family values which would also help to bring morality back to the country. We should also bring back fairness into the job market particularly in the Public Sector where far too many people are employed for their political beliefs rather than their ability. The Civil Service in particular should return to promotion examinations so that those who merit promotion get what they deserve (and more importantly those who don't...DON'T).

He should discontinue the Human Rights legislation which is designed to favour the criminal and above all the should tell the European Union that they will not get a penny more from the UK until they pass an audit. Then we should begin to repatriate all the foreign criminals currently filling our jails and costing us a fortune thanks to the deliberately engineered mass immigration programme.

He MUST revolutionise education in this country which is generally woeful. We used to have a fair society and we should return to it. It begins at school where closely supervised examinations should discover who deserves a university education and who should find a job. Streaming should return so that the academically bright are recognised and valued. Returning to competitive sport would also replace the physical loss of living in a country where we are too scared to allow our kids out to play!

David Cameron talks a lot about a 'big' society but fails to address the problems of an unfair society. When people start to believe that we are living in a fair society it would not be long before the feel good factor returned.

It will of course take courage. He will have to face down the public sector unions (that will be inevitable at any rate) but I am certain he would get huge support from the British public because above all else we British recognise fair play even though we haven't seen much of it for a long time.

Game on...!

So now we know that some of the NUS leaders were actively involved in the attack on Tory Party HQ. It is being said that they misled the police regarding the number of students attending the demo but I find that difficult to believe.

Either police intelligence has become so naive that they have become ineffective or someone decided to give the students a head start and kept the bad boys away from the front line. The extent to which the left wing throughout Europe will defend their power grab should not surprise anyone. They have had 13 years to infiltrate all levels of public life and now we are seeing the consequences.

The unions are gearing up for a battle which was expected but the NUS? Yes they have always been left wing but militant to the extent that they will destroy property and pelt the police with fire extinguishers from nine floors up?

Yesterday I watched the riots through the medium of SKY NEWS and they interviewed many students who were shocked by the violence. These same students must now realise that they have been manipulated by politically motivated activists in the NUS.

Many of them clearly came to London to make a point that they had every right to make but their Union had other ideas. This will continue so if they do not like the violence then they should stay away or form an alternative group to challenge the NUS within the student group.

Whatever else the battle lines are being drawn. The government must organise themselves because the left command a lot of troops who are prepared to descend on the streets and fight for their cause however misguided. The rest of us must realise that if we do not want to be the slaves of the public services or if we don't want to be subjected to a Soviet style tyranny then we must prepare for a battle. It really is 'Game On'!

Normal Service is resumed....!

During the past two weeks when I have become very well acquainted with various routes from Leicestershire to Edinburgh and back I have only had limited access to newspapers and the news. In normal times I am a news addict but as you all know life for me has not been normal.

It did strike me however that although we now have a new Coalition government and frankly they are trying really hard to rid us of the NoLab legacy. they have not gone far enough. The BBC still cock a snoop at public opinion. We, the licence holders, still pay their wages but their objective is still to promote the abject NoLab politicians.

I am sick of seeing people like the Milipedes, Ed Balls, Mandelson et al being given air time. They are irrevelant! They are part of the inglorious team which almost destroyed the country. Hell in my opinion their intention was to destroy the country. They certainly did nothing to prevent the Brown/Darling bandwagon from printing money like Mugabe, selling off the country's assets to pay for their barmy ideas or destroying their electoral chances.

Since then what has happened to Gordon and Sarah? They have disappeared apart from one episode (which Guido has chronicled) where they were invited to a wedding of two sycophants who instantly paid for their idiocy because Gordon and Sarah managed to be two hours late for the wedding! AAAAgh!

We must rid ourselves of this cabal of nonentities and replace them with people of integrity. The late night drinking sessions at the House of Commons bar does not fill me with hope.

The mood swing in the country....

It is quite amazing how the mood swing in the country has altered since the General Election. Since Jonah McDoom (as he is mischievously referred to on some blogs) was forced to call an election everything appears to have changed.

The England football team is in the last sixteen in the World Cup. The cricket team have won the World 20/20 and have just beaten the Aussies at the one day game. The England rugby team have also beated the Aussies in Australia. Our athletes finished second behind Russia in the European team cup recording a number of notable victories in the process and lawdy, lawdy Andy Murray is beginning to look like his old self again at Wimbledon.

All the bad luck brought upon by good luck telegrams, personal support and visits to Number Ten where Jonah could reflect the glory achieved by everyone else bar himself seems to have evaporated.

We appear to be re-emerging as a nation that has thrown off the yoke of the Blair/Brown/Mandelsson/Campbell years. In the meantime where is Jonah himself? The leading blogger Guido Fawkes has been campaigning by alerting everyone that Gorgon Brown signed on at Westminster for the money and has not been seen since. He was reelected by the people of Kirkcaldy and since then he has effectively disenfranchised his electorate. OK I know it serves them right but this is the man who has been banging on about 'fairness for all' for how many years?

He is and always has been a charlatan. Everything that I have blogged about him in the past two years has been proven. He will be consigned to history as the worst Prime Minister ever and if the rumours of mental health problems are ever substantiated then it only serves us right.

PM's Question Time...back at last!

I have just witnessed a huge culture change in Westmonster by the re-establishment of Prime Minister's Question Time. After thirteen years of Punch and Judy politics, NoLab MP's howling down opposition speakers and general rabble rousing today we actually saw a Prime Minster answering questions.

The questions from the NoLab opposition were generally inane as the answer so often had to be 'you had thirteen years to do that' and one even asked if the PM could ensure that mainline rail services would stop at Motherwell but the sharp, incisive manner in which the Coalition MPs are settling into their roles was commendable.

There is a new atmosphere at Westmonster. There is a sense of purpose. There are ideas and energy. Looking at the tired and discredited faces on the opposition benches it is now all too clear how deeply flawed they all were.

Nick Clegg

Today Nick Clegg made a ground breaking public speech promising to sweep away much of the legislation brought in by NoLab to almost enslave the public. It is the biggest shake up of political life which we have ever had in my lifetime. At the moment it is hard to take it all in because we have been so hard pressed to breath let alone think in a free manner. Now he promises that in many ways we could be the architects of our own existence.

Of course the two faced Shadow Home Secretary Alan Johnson, one of the architects of the NoLab marxist rule, immediately described it as a 'Liberal party obsession'. In the same breath he suggested that we were not in a surveillance state which is laughable considering the lengths that some councils were going to to spy on their citizens.

At long last the views of the entirely predictable Johnson and his mates are irrelevant. I could also say that about the Labour leadership contest. Frankly who cares who wins? The tyrannical Ed Balls is still spinning as he entered the Miliband contest. His suggestion that 'they should start to listen to the public' is a bit rich coming from a guy who wouldn't recognise the truth if it forced his teeth down his throat. In my opinion he epitomises the term 'evil'. I hope that he wins because he is just what they need to fail for decades to come.

In the meantime I can dream that my grandaughters never live through a decade like the last one and one day they will be able to play outside like I did as a child.

A Good Start

Isn't it refreshing to see two people committed to creating a new style of politics and then immediately announcing policies which the public actually want. It is really innovative to cut the pay of ministers because it signals that the leadership wants to lead the way and recognise that we must all tighten our belts.

Then Teresa May (Home Secretary) appears on the lunchtime news and announces that police will soon be back on the streets! I must admit that I have never known why police officers couldn't record their evidence/notes which could then be processed professionally by competent word processors back at the office. In this way any police officer with literacy weaknesses would not be burdened with written reports.

Looking down the list of Cabinet Ministers all I can see are competent politicians many of whom have business experience. Comparing them to the NoLab crowd of professional politicians with nothing other than dogma and prejudice to guide them I have a renewed hope for the future of our country.

I sincerely hope that we have seen the end of Mandelsson, Brown, Balls, Campbell et al. If I ever begin to forget the past nightmare decade I will at least have this blog as a record. Perhaps in years to come my ancestors will not believe what we have been through as a nation. I liken it to what the country may have thought at the end of the Second World War. A huge relief!

The Endgame...at long last!

Phew...for one terrible moment I feared the worst but at last it would appear that they are sorting out a deal and NoLab are no more. Hopefully we will now begin a new era in politics and the nightmares of the Blair/Brown regimes will sink into oblivion.

The recovery now begins and I suspect that we all know that NoLab and Brown in particular has left us in an horrific mess. In the next few years we must continue to remember who caused the debacle and why. I hope that David Cameron hits the ground running and starts dismantling the NoLab party machine which has been installed in every nook and cranny of the public services.

More than anything we must get the British society back on track again. We must tighten up the moral codes, get discpline back into schools and start making the workshy earn their benefits. Society needs to be repaired so that our large estates are given some hope for the future.

Perhaps the Labour Party will also stop their utterly unprincipled behaviour and now concentrate on helping the people who still provide their core support. They would be well advised not to let Ed Balls anywhere near their leadership race.

However back to David Cameron because he has a great chance to emerge as an inspirational leader heaven help us because we need one! Today is a landmark in our history. This is the day to begin to put the Great back into Britain!

At last a sensible decision!

As my much more famous brother would exclaim, 'I don't believe it'! After thirteen years of nonsensical political decisions today I hear that Alistair Darling has told the EU that we will not meet any cost towards propping up the Euro! I should think not too but after years of throwing money at this corrupt organisation I am amazed that we have at last refused. Perhaps this is the first sign that Gorgon is no longer in charge.

Many of the blogs are predicting that Gorgon will go very shortly leaving a battle to take his place. If these Labour twerps elect Ed Balls to succeed his boss then they deserve everything that they get. They really need someone fresh, someone who will not remind the electorate of this painful era where the Labour party lost its moral compass. Most of the leading players under both Blair and Brown have shown dreadful weakness and a collective lack of ideas and imagination which has led to the country spiralling down almost every league table measuring education, welfare and health.

I just hope that the Cameron/Clegg talks will produce some cohesion but I do believe that Cameron should already be ensconced in Number Ten. He won the election and even though he didn't get a working majority he had sufficient to allow him to begin to unravel the web of intrigue set up by NoLab.

I look forward to the disbanding of the quangocrats, the firing of the NoLab Special Advisors and a return to an impartial Civil Service. I also look forward to police back on the beat and a justice system which punishes the guilty, protects the innocent and supports the victim. I just hope that we are not disappointed but it has been so bad for so long surely something sensible will occur....SOON!

UPDATE: It appears that my optimism was misplaced and we have been told that we must contribute to the Greek rescue! I really should have known better. Hopefully this will be the last act of treachery and that the new Chancellor will tell the EU that it is their Euro and therefore their rescue package!

My hopes for this evening....

My overriding hope tonight is that some of the troughers who have disgraced Parliament will be humiliated. I also want to see most of the NoLab cabinet unseated because they have done so much to ruin the country prinicipally by not having the guts to front up to Gorgon Brown as he was ruining the country.

I would also like to see a small 'ginger group' of anti EU MPs elected to keep the main parties on their toes. Most of all though I hope that David Cameron is 'straight'. I hope that the aspirations that he has voiced for the country during the election campaign will be maintained and implemented. I hope that he will disband the EU funded quangos and dismantle the NoLab target based directions for our public services.

We must return to solid principles in areas like education, policing and health. The influence of Common Purpose must be curbed. Sanity must return to public services. Make no mistake some of these people are well entrenched and Cameron has a huge job but if he means his election promises then we could see a return to the type of England that many of today's youngsters have never envisaged. You never know some of them may get out to play on their own!

A New Dawn

Is there just a chance that the 'outing' of the cheating Political Class could summon a new dawn for British Politics. Most of us believe that the Political Class viewed the public their electorate with contempt. They have politicised the leadership of the police, the senior Civil Servants and the Judiciary.

The result has been a country which many of us do not recognise. We have no border controls as a result of our liaison with the unaudited European Union. Consequently we have no idea who should reside here and who should not. The result can be seen from our prison population. There is so much crime on our streets and so little police presence that our jails are full and they are letting out violent criminals early.

The people at the lower end of the working class have been abandoned by the NoLab politicians. They do not have a voice. Their children, the most vulnerable children in our society, have been encouraged into early sexual behaviour to such an extent that in every kitchen sink estate in the country we can see young girls pushing prams. This government gives them money and accommodation to become pregnant and in many cases it gives them independence from families that they are well rid of.

Marriage, security and responsibilty are not rewarded. People who believe in the traditional Christian family values are derided by government agencies as being 'retarded homophobes'. The 'gay' lobby has been allowed to flourish and prosper even though everyone knows that a married couple produce the most adjusted kids. I am sure that there must be 'gay' couples somewhere who have the best interest of a child at stake but hell it is still against the laws of nature.

Somewhere the successors to the Political Class lurk. I just hope that they will learn from the debacle which we have seen in Westminster this week. It is just not possible to change the character of a whole educated population in ten years.

The British people are many things, we are apathetic, complacent and sometimes arrogant. We are however slow to rile but if you arouse us then we can be bloody dangerous. I suspect that Brown, Mandelsson, Smith, Straw, Hoon, Milliband x 2, Blears, Beckett et al are soon going to discover that they have pushed us too far. I look forward to a change of direction in this country.
