Get Rid of Them All...with NO Pay Offs!

This BBC scandal is unedifying.  They don't respect the public purse and they should no longer have access to it.  The line up of public villains facing the House of Commons Select Committee, many of whom have previously lied to the politicians, was for the BBC, a watershed.  I tell you what. if you want to learn about Chris Patten read any political motivated book starting with the 'Alan Clarke Diaries'.

Clearly the people at the top have been outed as being cash crazy. Their pay offs for failure have been outrageous! They have tried to cover them up and the HR Director Lucy Adams clearly lied to the Select Committee on her last visit!

In my opinion the BBC should be broken up.  It has become quasi political and therefore inaccurate.  When the BBC can be accused of inaccuracy, because of a political bias, then it is no longer fit for purpose.  This organisation has lost its way and as such should no longer command public money.  I am really surprised that a Conservative government has not inquired into  this but then this Conservative government is no longer conservative and their Liberal partners are no longer liberal...Hey Ho!

Enough is enough!

Well said Sir. A scandalous organisation in the main (there are a few pluses - the loss of Test Match Special would be a dark day for one) and something needs be done.

The wastage of money is eye-watering.

Paul.

But how would the Government fill the heads of the gullible with their lies, without the STATE propaganda machine that is the BBC?
The Public Accounts Committee, headed by a millionaire, Patricia Hodge, that is accountable to no-one, are just another arm of State propaganda.
Nobody in any State agency, whether government, Whitehall or the BBC understands the value of the money demanded by them from the Public, they just don't give a $HIT.
I would suggest everyone turn off the 'box' leave these parasites talking to themselves, nourishing their own ego's.

Paul I watch the cricket on SKY but then I can. Sport on the Beeb became a joke after so many female directors decided that 'cooking' on a Saturday afternoon should supercede active sport! That is meant to be a joke but it has connotations.

NBC welcome back! As always you are bang on the ball. It sometimes amazes me how naive the British public have become BUT I detect a cynicism from the Grey Army.

If I may make another suggestion to the Grey Army, of which I am one myself. Stop, repeat stop, paying the TV licence fee. The money goes to Capita not the BBC.
Capita will write to you threatening all sorts of nonsense, ignore it/them.
Eventually they will write to the Legal Occupier, if that is not your NAME then throw the letter in the bin.
They get disheartened after a while and stop the threats. Job done.

Tks for your interest guys. NBC I would stop paying the licence fee in a heartbeat because I have read about others but Mrs B would then pay it because she thinks that I am about to get arrested at any rate! She believes everything she is fed and I can't change her now!

Ask the good lady, if she was forced to pay for subscription tv (sky) would she be happy about it?
Check this; http://www.cityunslicker.co.uk/2013/09/make-satellite-dishes-compulsory.html
The fact that we are forced to pay for a paedophile protection racket should be enough to convince people to stop. And as you rightly say in your post the BBC think that the money they force from licence payers is theirs to waste.
