The Army is Recruiting!

I have watched the steady decline of service numbers for many years now. As a former professional soldier my heart will always be with the services because I understand the culture and the hardships. The culture remains with me today and I rue the lack of honest discipline within modern society.

Youngsters growing up in the modern society appear to have been well educated in maintaining their rights but know little about their responsibilities. They know how to bully but do not know how to administer fair and firm discipline and this lack of knowledge is harming our industry.  Our justice system illustrates this tendency admirably when it has now been reported that the thug that supplied the gun to the killer of 11 year old Rhys Jones in Liverpool will be walking the streets after only 4 years of a 12 year sentence!

The same unfair system is now being perpetrated on the services. There appears to be a concerted effort to sack service people before they qualify for their military pension. For example I read that 8000 service people are soon to be made redundant.  OK it is plain daft but if it is fair across the board then I will have to understand but then, on the television, comes the advert...'The Army is Recruiting'. How can the army be recruiting when they are sacking trained personnel many of whom already have combat experience?

It is this skewed thinking which seems to drive on the Home Office and the UK Border Force. Time after time non UK citizens are targetted for deportation if they have served with our forces! We have a miscellany of dodgy foreign crooks of many nationalities serving time for villainy and yet we never hear of them being deported.

There is little doubt that any association with the military is regarded in some quarters as being akin to treason.  The reason for this is that the military is almost the last bastion of honesty and decency where old fashioned values like, loyalty, compassion, discipline and organisation are still taught not despised.  It has been watered down but it still exists even though it is constantly under attack from a despicable Political Class.

The army should not be recruiting, it should be maintaining its skilled and trained personnel.  It should also be ensuring that those who have come through the military experience are then fed into civilian jobs where they can utilise their experience.

The Gurkhas

I cannot believe that Gordon Brown, who opposed the rehabilitation of the Gurkhas into this country is now claiming credit for the bill which allows them entrance.

The Gurkhas are revered for their bravery and their loyalty to us the British. This revelation should never have been in question but the Gurkhas are loyal to us the British. That is the problem. They do not fit the immigration criteria that only those people who have no cultural, religious or financial background will be allowed to settle here. If you are a white Zimbabwean then you have to explain yourself. If you are an Afghan plane hijacker then whoopee you are exactly what we want.

It is ridiculous and exactly what the BNP (you remember those racists bastards) want to combat. Don't get me wrong there are some aspects of the BNP which do not fit neatly with my philosophy but most of the people are not what the mainstream media portray.

If you need an example then log onto the BNP website and look at the comments to any of their articles. Then log onto the comments on the,for example, Guido Fawkes website and view the comments there. Don't get me wrong because in my opinion Guido is the doyen of bloggers but he does have some prats on the comments column.

The people who respond to the BNP blogsite are frankly of different quality. They have an aim, a goal and a responsibility and they are not what the mainstream media which includes programmes like the 'Matthew Wright Show' cannot reflect. I view his show every morning but he is wrong to align himself with the mainstream media. He is a journalist and I must say (a pretty dodgy one) but his show is iconic.

Remember Gordon Brown had actually banned the Gurkhas from settling here. He has only recognised the rights of the Gurkhas because Joanna Lumley forced him to. He is a coward and a bully and what Ms Lumley did then we can all do. Do not let him last another year without an election.

Justice at Last!

I could not believe that the Westminster crowd suddenly became ashamed of their government and a sufficient number of them found a conscience. A bit late in the day perhaps but better late than never. After sitting through the PM's shameless excuses during Question Time I think that most of us were disgusted.

Once again however, David Cameron gave Brown an easy time and it was left to Nick Clegg to become the lead attack on the Gurkha issue. I really have never had much time for Clegg but this time he bared his teeth and was very effective as Brown was left to repeat and repeat his lame excuses and lies about NoLab's policy regarding the Gurkhas.

Nowhere did he confess that the problem had only occurred after the Chinese took back Hong Kong. Prior to that the Gurkhas were allowed to remain in Hong Kong. When that ceased they had nowhere else to go unless they went home to a very poor country.

Full marks to Joanna Lumley for taking the lead role in the fight. She was splendid as were all the people who flooded the 'Politics Show' with E-Mails before and after the scenes in Parliament. Middle England have clearly had enough of Gordon Brown and the 28000 who have, so far, signed up on the Downing Street Website petition to see him removed is proof of that.

The Gurkhas

Like most people I am ashamed that the Gurkhas have not been given preferential treatment regarding immigration and access to the NHS. I have long since held the belief that there are elements within the Home Office who have an agenda which is not shall we say of benefit to this country.

For years we have seen people encouraged by any means possible to enter this country even though they have no cultural, religious or ethnic link with this country. It has been a clear policy of trying to destablilize England in particular by allowing mass immigration. We have seen people from countries like Somalia, Ethiopia, Pakistan, Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan all being allowed to circumnavigate our entry laws and take up residency.

Now the very people who have probably been our most loyal allies, soldiers who have earned the highest honours for valour and spilt blood for this country are ignored by this shameless government. Full marks to Joanna Lumley for supporting this cause but it does illustrate that somewhere at the highest level, there are people close to Gordon Brown who are trying to ensure that our culture, our heritage and our national identity are destroyed.

If ever you had any doubts that we are being threatened by forces close to this government then the case of the Gurkhas have proven it. It does not pay to have proven your loyalty to the British cause.
