Are Leading Politicians Immune from Police Investigations?

Last Thursday I pronounced my cynicism at the arrest of so many ageing celebrities.  I did wonder why Operation Yewtree was only discovering people from one walk of life who had committed offences against the under age.

Then I came across this and I began to understand a lot more.  Ben Fellowes is a former child actor who is now an investigative journalist and clearly in his youth he encountered a lot of sexual advances from people who should have known better.  He recounts an experience he had whilst working on 'The Cook Report' which in it's day was quite controversial.

Despite the clearest account of a sexual assault committed on him by a very well known MP (you will have to follow the link to find out who it is) the police are apparently refusing to follow up so  does this mean that the police are protecting high profile political figures?

I followed up the story and this account of a 'sting' that was being perpetrated on Ian Greer associates during the 'cash for questions' scandal in the nineties clearly mentions a good looking young black lad called 'Ben' working for 'The Cook Report'.  So if he is being truthful about the event why would he invent the assault?

I am very uncomfortable that this is not being pursued. There were witnesses and they may of course deny it but surely the police are duty bound to follow up and ask a few questions?  I have been looking around the web since I read this.  A lot of people think David Icke is a loony (like Nigel Farage) but the trouble is he keeps getting it right!

Margaret Thatcher RIP

The death has been announced of Margaret Thatcher, who in my opinion was the last time that this country had a proper leader.  Unlike any of her successors she really did bat for Britain and actually put this country back on the map following the rise of a sordid socialist class of europhiles which were threatening to bring the country down.

They have of course succeeded since she left office because nobody in the Conservative party has come anywhere near to filling her shoes.  Most of them have followed the easy route to success by jumping on the EU bandwagon which pays them to be good little boys and girls.

It takes courage to be a conviction politician and defy the bullies. They eventually won and history will record the people who sold this country out to the European Union and treacherously removed her from office in a cowardly backstabbing. We all know who they are and how much they hate this country.

She is hated by the left because she kicked them all around the country.  Their hectoring rhetoric, their dogma and outmoded mantra lost every time she swung her handbag.  We are still waiting for her replacement and just perhaps he is on the sidelines waiting for the May elections.  This country is waking up to the dangers of the bankers, the Unions and the EU.

In 30 minutes I shall disappear to my local and quietly raise a glass to the last great Britain.  For a famous period in history she wiped the floor with the array of traitors that surrounded her.

RIP Maggie!

Why Are We Surprised?

Why are we surprised that two, young, female police officers have been slaughtered by a maniac in the outskirts of Manchester? Why are all our leading, modernising, politicians now wringing their hands and protesting about a barbarity that they have caused. They are just as much to blame for the deaths of these two women as the perpetrator himself.

For the past 50 years the establishment has weakened the justice system to the point where there is no justice for victims in Britain.  Everything has been geared towards 'understanding' the criminal and 'rehabilitating' the criminal.

To hell with the victim, to hell with the general public, to hell with polite society let's just keep rewarding disgraceful behaviour until we get to the point that grenades are thrown at female officers in broad daylight in Britain!

Let us just reappraise the situation! In most instances in this country the police respond to crime. They have long since been dissuaded from preventing it. They no longer have a connection with the public when they are on duty.

When they do catch a criminal that person enters a system which at every turn fails to recognise any crime he/she may have committed. Criminals in Britain must commit many many crimes before they are incarcerated. When they eventually receive a jail sentence it is  invariable slashed as part of a rehabilitation programme. Most are out on the street, unknown to the public, long before they have completed half their sentence.

We have seen some shocking examples of weak judges in this country. They appear to look for any reason to excuse the criminal and completely ignore the victim.  Criminals routinely walk out of court laughing at the law.

Despite this our prisons are full.  Many are full of people who should not even be in our country. There is a dangerous reluctance to deport foreign criminals in case we contravene their 'Human Rights' which has been used by every lawyer in the country! We can find any excuse to deport a patriot, even those who have served with the colours, but foreign criminals often escape scot free.

Then we have our prisons. Reportedly they are riddled with drugs which inmates can obtain freely while they are allowed unbridled use of luxury items. I often wonder just what the prison officers are doing? There are many reports which maintain that the inmates are running the prisons. Whatever else it appears that prison is not the deterrent it should be. Some prisoners probably live better on the inside than they do on the outside which cannot be right.

So there is nothing to deter a would be wrongdoer from committing a crime. No regular police presence, weak sentencing and soft prisons have combined to produce a criminal fraternity who care not a jot for the law. If the killer of the two police officers today knew that he was going to face a length of rope or a long spell on a mosquito infested Scottish island I don't think he would have lured them towards his guns and grenades.  He did it because frankly he just didn't care!

UPDATE:  Now we discover that the likely killer was already ON BAIL for MURDER! When will these people learn?

Suddenly a lurch towards the Public!

Everybody knows that we the public have been ripped off for years where fuel and food prices are concerned. Suddenly the government have decided to investigate the price fixing of the fuel companies. In comparison to any other European countries the Brits are always ripped off. We are the soft touch and the oil companies are taking advantage.

The problem is that our politicians who should be representing the public are in the main bought and paid for because they have done deals with their paymasters. It does not matter whether they have accepted money from Murdoch, Tescos, BP, Esso or any other of the multi nationals because it would now appear that every MP has been bought up.

Politics has become an industry. The colossal amounts involved would corrupt a saint so we have to accept that with the odd exception our politicians are tainted. They all have an owner. They are only accepted if they are corruptible. That actually means that the local selection committees have also been corrupted. They are only accepting people who will comply with the orders of the multinationals (New World Order).

Make no mistake there is very little democratic principle left in the United Kingdom. Our politicians scoff at democracy. The only reason that they address any of our concerns is because they may lose a vote or two. They care not a jot for you and I but the Tories are under pressure. They may lose control. The useless Labour plebs are actually beginning to gain an advantage in the polls without actually articulating a policy!

That is modern politics. If they keep this up one or two of our useless judges may come under the spotlight. We might even have a justice policy which favours the victim! I am amazed that the Leicestershire couple who defended their home with a shotgun have been released! Tony Martin was not released he was jailed! What is the difference?

After all you have a very attractive wife and four strapping burglars are breaking into your home! What would you do? Of course you would let them do what they want because you don't want to be arrested for well what... 'over exuberance'. In fact you actually do what the guy did... you shoot the bastards! He actually shot them in the legs (well they survived) when I would have blown their heads off and smiled as I was sentenced.

Then we have the peach of a judge... Bowers who actually thinks it takes courage to burgle so he won't jail the criminal? No wonder Cameron is panicking! He is in charge of a lunatic asylum created by his political opposition which he has failed to change.

You see when you owe your platform to an owner and not to the public then it is difficult to do the decent thing. Cameron is in a hole. He cosied up to the Murdoch Empire and he also has other academic loyalties that means he is not free to do the right thing. He owes too much to so many people and he is our Prime Minister!

Secret Courts in Britain?

Mr Roger Hayes
In March 2011 about 800 people descended on a court in Birkenhead to 'arrest' a judge for not acting in accordance with his sworn oath. The leader of this mini rebellion was Roger Hayes, Chairman of the British Constitution Group, who had been charged with non payment of council tax. Here is a reminder of the attempt to arrest the judge.

Now comes news that is going viral that he has been arrested, charged and jailed in a secret court which seems to have been convened for this one case. Many of the leading bloggers are making this very public because this is Stasi style justice which we have been warning about for some time now.

I personally don't know the details but they can be found here  along with some pertinent questions that need to be addressed. This is justice under Ken Clarke and a political party which purports to represent Conservative thinking in this country.

If this is not addressed in Westmonster then our fears for democracy in this country will have been substantiated. It also opens the door for anyone who protests against governmental actions to be treated similarly.

Only U Turns but No Policies!

Once again this Coalition has U turned, this time on fuel tax. Are we surprised? They cannot agree on anything because the Conservative party and the LibDems are diametrically opposed in political thinking. Real Conservatives and they are in a minority in the Conservative Party, would never agree anything with the LibDems because the LibDems are these days further to the left than New Labour.

When will we get policies which the public want? When will someone propose policies which will benefit the families of this country? Why do we always have to swallow the Ken Clarke rhetoric which continually awards prisoners for committing crime. Today they are getting jobs whilst serving sentences! What!?

What about all the people who don't commit crime and want to work? Do they have to commit a crime to get a job Mr Clarke? This one man, a servant of the Bilderbergers, who has probably made a fortune out of his insider knowledge on the economy, continues to blight our society. His proposals never, ever, benefit the public because his life has been dedicated to ruining the country of his birth.

Ken Clarke almost legitimises the 'T' word. The political world have mostly sold their own country down the drain. They have hitched their banner to the European bandwagon and come hell or high water it will succeed...even though all the participating countries (except Germany) have had their economies ruined.

I rest my case!

The Welfare System

I think that the working public are sick of the scroungers who live a good life on the welfare system and are never challenged by the government. They know the system, their entitlements and how to survive very nicely on what many of us consider far too much money! Many of them are immigrants.

There is a train of thought that some politicians have engineered this drain on the welfare system to further their political aims. They want western societies to be bankrupted and that is why politically we seem to be unable to tackle the problem. Nobody has the political will to challenge the system.

The Labour party abjectly allowed this scandal to swell and prosper. The LibDems also support the Welfare Class and encourage the unemployed and the sick, lame and lazy to sponge off the state.

Before I go further let me categorically state that I will go to the ends of the earth to support those who are genuinely in need. Our current system however threatens these genuine cases and allows the fit but sleazy to escape undetected. These are the people that we must track down and identify. We could do this easily if we had the political will to instruct the Job Centres and the Benefits agencies to make it a priority!

So when our Conservative Prime Minister announces plans to tackle the problem you will forgive me for doubting his integrity. Of course this cannot happen until after 2015 because of the Coalition so he is blatantly electioneering. Remember this is the same guy who promised us a referendum on the EU and then reneged on almost every manifesto promise he made at the last election.

Here we go again. He knows what the public want so he vaguely promises to address it. He gets the headlines but has absolutely no intention of following through. The people who wield the power meet at the Bilderberg meetings and would never allow our PM to go off message.

So my message is don't believe this Political Class. They routinely lie because they serve masters that the rest of us do not have access to. Occasionally they slip up and leave clues. The clues always lead to the same result. David Cameron could sort out the welfare farce at a stroke. David Cameron and Iain Duncan-Smith keep hinting that they have everything under control. They have no intention of changing anything.

At Question Time last Thursday the arrogant Ken Clarke sneered at the proposals of Michael Gove to improve education. He more or less stated that he and Nick Clegg were in charge and nothing would change. That is our challenge. We must weed out these imposters and servants of  Bilderberg and vote them out like they did in Iceland.

Electorally we are limited in our choice. Only the big three have sufficient money to flood the field with candidates. They also own the media and the banks and the corporate authorities. Up against that we have Nigel Farage (UKIP) and Nick Griffin (BNP). Clearly the mainstream media will tell you that they are unelectable. The trouble is that if we don't elect them we will get more of Ken Clarke, Ed Balls and the core of the Bilderberger servants who are in thrall to the New World Order. It is almost like Christianity against Satanism. Think about it!

Another Look at Bilderberg

I have often posted that the driving force behind this blog was that I had lost my voice. My vote counted for nothing and yet I could detect a malign force alive and well and hell bent on destroying my country. It was, in my opinion, inexplicable that our politicians were encouraging half the world to descend on my country without setting up the infrastructure to deal with the invasion.

I could not understand how we could exchange a Conservative government (Major) for a Labour government (Blair) and nothing changed. I could not understand how a group of unelected commissars (The European Union) could usurp our legal system and nobody protested. On the surface, for the benefit of the general public, we still had aWestminster parliament but clearly it now had limited power.

The public at that time were still ignorant of Common Purpose and Bilderberg and other instruments that a global power group were using to unhinge our democratic process. Clearly some of our leading politicians were not batting for Britain. My problem was discovering who could and could not be trusted?

This led me into a new language. Politicians often use a different language to mask their activities and that was when I stumbled upon the word 'modernisation'. Almost all of our leading politicians described themselves as 'modernisers' which meant that all three of our major political parties were working on an agenda to change the demography of the country. I did not want my country to change but it was being forced upon me.

This set me on a course of trying to discover the prime movers behind the changes that we have see in this country. The idiocy of the legal system, the dumbing down of education, the unfairness of the benefits system and the politicisation of the Police and the Civil Service.

It has led me to this video. It is a bit long winded at times but the subject of it has a lot to answer for and it exposes the influence of Bilderberg in this country, the link to the European Union and a few of the British politicians who have let us all down.

Listen to the Public Mr Miliband!

So far, far too late Ed Miliband has decided that the British public was correct in opposing the mass immigration policies that his party, under the leadership of Messrs Blair and Brown, imposed on us all. He is now declaring that it was all an error of judgement, a mistake and something that he now regrets!

Too late you clown! We have been invaded by a motley foreign army and there are no records of who is here and who should be here. There is absolutely no record of the numbers who were allowed to invade these islands and take up residence using our education facilities, our NHS and our benefits system.

The people who should have been dealing with the problem...the Civil Service were conveniently politicised by Tony Blair and dumbed down by Gordon Brown. The Home Office actively collaborated in the invasion which changed the demography of our country forever as it was intended to do.

Ed Miliband was complicit in all of this so do not let him tell you that he now thinks it was a mistake. IT IS TOO LATE! Every nation benefits from the talents of other nations but no nation can recover from a mass, unchecked, unregistered invasion of anybody regardless of background as New Labour encouraged and insisted upon.

We now have prisons filled with criminals that we imported. We now have a huge burden upon our welfare and education systems. We now have a housing crisis which is unprecedented and unavoidable. These people have to sleep somewhere! My question is that why do some people in government insist that we ruin our national beauty to accommodate people who are only here to claim benefits.

I know that I can (will) be regarded as a grumpy old man but we grumpy old men have seen a thing or two. We have always paid our way and we have fought our wars and we have always been patriotic. That is the crux of my post.

Last night I watched Question Time on BBC and no matter how much I watched I could not help wondering how Ken Clarke can possibly claim to be a Conservative? Clearly Nick Clegg does not bat for Britain and the public know it so who actually bats for Britain?

If Ed Miliband is kosher, which of course I will never believe, then just perhaps he should listen to the public. He could learn a thing or two. But then if he acted on public opinion he would not be a politician! The Political Class is actively ruining our lives. But then that is my next post.....

Education - a sore point!

Michael Gove
Michael Gove is he a true Conservative?
This lunch time on the BBC's Politics Show businessman Digby Jones articulated what most of us have known for many years and that is that kids educated by the state education system are by and large unemployable. There are of course exceptions mainly those that have intelligent parents or grandparents who can identify problems missed by teachers and tackle them.

For 10 years (1987-1997) I was heavily involved in training 16-18 year olds who had left school and hoped to gain employment. It was my job in one capacity or another to assist them into their first jobs and I am still in contact with some of them who have been extraordinary successful.

During that time I was appalled at the education standards but at least we did, at that time, have something to work on and in most cases we could bring the youngsters up to scratch. According to Digby Jones that is not now possible and companies are having to install remedial programmes to guarantee that young people can cope with the basic skills.

So along comes Michael Gove, our Education Secretary, who suggests that we improve state education by ditching the present system of GCSE's and return to the exam based GCE's.

Wow! You would have thought that he had declared nuclear war on the education system. As I write Andy Burnham is bleating on 'Question Time' about the second class citizens that good education would create. Earlier Nick Clegg looked aghast at the very thought of children having a fair grading system. Currently we have a plethera of exam boards who compete for the largesse of schools by making exam papers easier.

We need one national examination board. We need a national grading standard that does not allow teachers or exam boards to 'adjust' the marking system. Those politicians and Trade Union bosses who have vested interests in keeping the education system at a low level will always try to prevent improvement.

Michael Gove has set the bar at a high level. He seems to want to improve the system. That old rogue Ken Clarke has just stated live on national television that the committee that will decide on Michael Gove's proposal is chaired by Nick Clegg and vice chaired by himself!

These two people will then ensure that nothing changes because neither bats for Britain. If any Minister wants to change the system he faces (a) the Public Service Unions and (b) the Modernisers. When almost every front bench politician is now a 'moderniser' it is almost impossible for a true 'Conservative' to introduce a policy which would be good for the public. Maybe that is the clincher! A member of the Cameron government can float an idea which seems like a Conservative policy but has no chance of being accepted.

Michael Gove is highly placed in the Cabinet. Like David Cameron he is articulate and presentable. He would not be in the Cabinet if he was not a moderniser. He is pretending to be a Conservative. Sorry folks but if you want to understand the man look at his mates.

The Leveson Inquiry

We seem to have been beleaguered by inquiries and committees since the start of the year. Almost all of our leading political, police and press representatives have been questioned about their integrity. Time after time resignations have been tendered and even now resignations and even jail sentences are facing some of those who have been forced to admit their indiscretion.

The whole political structure in this country is rotten to the core and the public know it. At every inquiry the dodgy, so called elite, are rolled out and their dodgy secrets are exposed. First of all the Met police lost not only their commissioner but also their 'star performer' Yates of the Yard who was so cosy with everybody he would never have achieved a conviction. No wonder the cash for peerages investigation died a death.

Then we have the Leveson Inquiry where clearly people are lying on oath. Well I reckon that most of them are but Gordon Brown was hilarious! Almost every political journalist was gasping at his evidence. This man who, at the behest of the Labour Party actually became the Prime Minister of this country gave the performance of a lifetime. Of course we all understand that he or his cohorts NEVER briefed against Tony Blair.

I have blogged about Gordon Brown on many occasions but now I must confess that I am of the opinion that he is a sick man. The problem is that the establishment does not challenge him. He is allowed to spout his nonsense (as is Tony Blair) because they aspired to be Prime Minister of the UK.

Many people believe that Tony Blair is a war criminal and yet he is never challenged.  He attends inquiry after inquiry and yet he smoothes his way through and NOBODY gives him a hard time. He must have many powerful friends.

So onto the position of the Culture Minister, Jeremy Hunt, another public schoolboy in league with News International who our current PM is trying to keep in position because after Mr Hunt he is next in line for the firing squad.  Of course at PM's Question Time we don't have any national problems.

They ignore the problems of our financial system, the state of our forces and our membership of the EU. So at PM's Question Time Labour led on the position of the Culture Minister! Wow! How narcisstic is that? When will they deliberate the problems in Syria? When do we challenge our relationship with Europe? When will they challenge the Justice Traitor  Minister on his ridiculous sentencing and the ludicrous practice of tagging is exposed as being yet another example of weak justice.

Tagged criminals are routinely relaxing their tags  to continue their criminal activities and nobody is catching them. They are being allowed to continue with their lives when they should actually be in jail. Criminals are being bailed when they should be jailed. We all know it but then Ken Clarke has an agenda to bring the society of this country down. Time after time this member of the steering committee of Bilderberger is installed into key positions where he can do maximum damage.

When David Cameron appointed Ken Clarke to the position of Justice Minister then I immediately realised that David Cameron was a wrong 'un! Nobody who has the welfare of the British public at heart would ever, ever, appoint Ken Clarke to any position of authority. David Cameron is NOT  a Conservative and neither is Ken Clarke. They have been elected on a false premise but then so have so many others.

Accountability within the Justice System

We are regularly informed by the mainstream media that career criminals who are apprehended by the police are routinely granted bail and then released to continue their criminal practices. There seems to be no rhyme or reason behind granting bail to violent criminals but when things go wrong and members of the public are assaulted or killed as a result nobody is accountable.

Recently the police arrested a career criminal who had been sentenced to 8 years in 2004 for stabbing a householder during a burglary. He had been arrested, wait for it, for a sexual offence and assault but the had also been charged with theft, trespass and possession of cannabis! How on earth does someone decide that this person is safe to be on the streets? Clearly he is a danger to the public and of course he was because now he is being hunted suspected of committing two murders.

So who made the decision? What were his/her reasons? Will he/she ever again be allowed to grant bail to anyone after such cataclysmic errors of judgement? The answer is that whoever made the decision cannot be held accountable. We don't know who they are and very likely they are making the same decisions today.

Until someone brings back justice to the justice system then this country will continue on the downward spiral into an abyss. The criminal club which today includes the perpetrator, the police and the legal profession (but rarely the victims) appears to flourish across the land with criminals being given every benefit of the doubt imaginable. Will anyone challenge it? Don't hold your breath!

Now we know.....!

Screen Shot 2012-03-11 at 11.40.29
Dr Michael Pinto-Dushinsky
This morning on the Sunday Politics Andrew Neal interviewed a guy who was unknown to me. Apparently he was a Conservative appointed member of a Commission set up to examine the Human Rights Act. He announced live on the programme that he was resigning from the Commission because Ken Clarke and Nick Clegg were 'sidelining' the Prime Minister and were determined to ensure that the European Human Rights Act would remain in place despite all the adverse publicity.

He was actually very frank and more than once directly accused Ken Clarke in particular of at least disloyalty and at worst of exceeding his authority. Now anyone who knows me will be aware that it is my opinion that Ken Clarke does not bat for Britain. I don't know who he bats for but he does have friends in high places. His appointment as Justice Minister is one of the reason that our justice system is in such a mess.

Dr Pinto-Dushinsky could have done him a lot of damage. He has at least exposed him for what he is an intransigent europhile prepared to sacrifice anything British to please the EU commissars. It is so ironic that he purports to be a Conservative!

Secret Justice

I have often posted about the malign agenda that our Justice Secretary, Ken Clarke, appears to promote. His ideology often contradicts British public opinion and coincides with almost everything that emanates from the European Union. Personally I cannot think of anyone worse to uphold British Justice but his latest plan to extend a 'secret court' system in this country almost beggars belief!

As usual the excuse for this absolute mockery of justice is 'damage to the public interest' rather than 'to cover up government incompetence'. It always make me smile when our europhile politicians propose measures which in effect curb our freedom but are always about 'public interest' or 'democracy'. The minute someone like Ken Clarke or Nick Clegg mention the word 'democracy' then I know that they are about to propose yet another threat to the British way of life. They are not 'modernisers' for nothing!

They are hell bent on turning this country into East Germany or North Korea or ... well any country that prefers totalitarian government to democracy. I just hope that we have enough politicians in Westmonster who are prepared to stand up and expose this nonsense but I would bet that David Cameron won't be one of them.

More nonsense from the 'justice' system!

Damilola Taylor was only 10 years old when  he was stabbed by a local thug and bled to death in a stairwell on a Peckham council estate. The police caught his murderers two brothers well known to them and after a series of legal errors they were convicted 6 years later of manslaughter. They received a paltry 8 years in youth detention for a crime which shocked the nation and had homophobic connotations.

One of the brothers Ricky Preddie was then released after only four years (half way can that be right?) but was returned to prison after breaching his release conditions. Now surely that should be that? Surely that should disqualify him for any further early release opportunities? Well no not in the justice system run by Ken Clarke and his 'modernising' chums because Rickie has just been given a second chance to casually wave two fingers at the public. Predictably he repeated his original behaviour and has just been returned yet again to his cell.

Now Damilola's father is asking for a public enquiry into this early release and so he should. What's more we should all be shouting from the rooftops about this nonsense. I want to see if we have any politician worthy of the name who will tackle Clarke head on in the House and demand his resignation now that Preddie has exposed his policies as being useless and a danger to the public.

Crime and the UK!

Ken Clarke
It is now becoming clear that the soft approach to criminality adopted by those trusted to protect the public is having a serious effect on our safety. Increasingly decent members of our society are being murdered by criminals out on licence who should, if justice had been served, be safely behind bars.

The UK is currently a haven for criminals. There is no deterrent in the soft option sentencing guidelines which would cause anyone to think twice before committing a violent crime. We can witness the bewilderment and grief of the family from India who are mourning their student son after he wandered into the 'manor' of 'Psycho' Stapleton from Salford and was shot in the head for his ignorance. You would not catch me on the streets of Salford at any hour never mind the early hours but how was he to know?

I doubt very much if there was a policemen on the beat within five square miles of him and that was probably why he died.  By and large our streets are no longer safe because they have been left unprotected by a police force weighed down by risk assessments and the constant battle against drunken young people.

I have long believed that until the 'modernisers', who are hell bent on changing our society to mirror their warped beliefs, reap the rewards of their mindset then nothing will change. If one of these politicians is made to grieve for a loved one then perhaps it will come home to them what they have achieved.

We have one such person in charge of the Justice System in this country. He is a paid up member of the 'worship the European Union' club and  one of the few ordinary politicians who has had serial invitations to the Bilderberger meetings.

I cannot believe that a Conservative Prime Minister could hand the Criminal Justice System to someone like Ken Clarke. Every time that I want to believe in David Cameron then reality brings me back from the brink. Every time that the PM wins me over and no matter  how convincing he becomes, the very fact that Ken Clarke is the Justice Minister and still ignoring the British people, ruins his cause.

Ken Clarke serves a master that most of us do not recognise or understand. His willingness to create an alien political society which refuses to acknowledge public concern is mystifying. I believe his motives are suspect but he is getting older and he should be replaced. I wonder which 'moderniser' will replace him because in order to oppress the country further this particular position is vital.

We desperately need changes in our criminal justice system. The public need protection. The 'modernisers' have now gone too far with their liberal policies. A country without justice is heading for disaster and the recent increase in murder and stabbings is reflecting the changes in our society. Someone has to slam the gears into reverse!

The murder of Joanna Yeates

In the past couple of days we have had two excellent reasons to bring back capital punishment. I agree with the family of Joanna Yeates that the death penalty would be a fitting end for people like her murderer.

Similarly there is little doubt that the child killer Robert Black is a serial killer who has brought untold misery to the families of the victims.

This is another example the the Political Class ignoring the wishes of the public . Why should killers like Tabak and Black be allowed to live out their lives in conditions which many of the elderly would deem as luxury?

Every time I see that smug Justice Secretary, Ken Clarke, blocking attempts to reform the justice system I realise why our kids cannot play safely on our streets. Our kids will never enjoy their childhood while people like Clarke reward the killers and spit on the victims. David Cameron would do well to bin the evil old man.

The Criminal Justice System

A  democratic country thrives on a fair criminal justice system and I often think that the United Kingdom is in meltdown partly due to demolition of our criminal justice system. Every layer of our justice system has been wrecked so that today we can no longer trust many of the judges, the police or the prison service. It is our own fault because we have accepted 'the mission creep' so called reforms without batting an eyelid.

Most thinking people have now accepted that our judges and politicians inhabit a different planet from the Paying Class. Their often heard pronouncements bare no relevance to life on planet earth. The sentences meted out to career criminals are so weak that they are pointless. They are allowing the Criminal Class to laugh at our criminal justice system.

Most of us have also realised that the police have largely abandoned the streets to the criminal and the unsocial. Local parks are in the hands of foul-mouthed gangs of kids. The roads have been abandoned so that many of the incomers are driving round uninsured. The town centres have been abandoned so that in the evenings many of them are no-go areas because of the drunken behaviour of the young.

The prisons are a very unfunny joke. Most of them resemble holiday camps. One hears tales that these prisons are havens for the drug addicted! How the hell are they getting drugs in? Don't people get searched anymore? Aren't people watched by prison staff? The impression is left that the prisoners are running the prison service.

Nothing ever changes, it does not appear to matter which political party is in power the criminal justice system simply gets watered down even further. It must stop because if it doesn't then we may as well not bother with punishing the offenders. Just let anarchy rule the streets because we are only one step away from it now and it has been created deliberately.

Just for the record when my grandkids read this blog in years to come, I want sentences to fit the crime. I want proper, severe, prisons which scare the wits out of the criminal (preferably a mozzie ridden island in the Western Isles). I want the police back onto the streets hounding the young gangs  and the town centre drunks. I want to bring back fear to the criminal where the police don't call them 'mate' and yes...I would welcome the return of the death penalty.

I also welcome the government's U-Turn on the disgraceful proposals submitted by Ken Clarke to further weaken the sentencing policy. I just wish that they would stop U-turning and start governing. A real Tory would have reversed much of the NoLab nonsense months ago but this is not a real Conservative government and the LibDems are slowing up the reforming process.

Votes for Prisoners!

Defiant: Axe killer John Hirst said he had taken Parliament 'hostage' and boasted MPs were powerless to block his campaign to win prisoners the vote
This is John Hirst, a former axe murderer, who has led a proposal to ensure that prisoners are allowed to vote. He has been given air time by The Daily Politics Show despite being an arrogant, abusive pig. Today he refused to apologise to Priti Patel, a Conservative MP, for labelling her a 'Paki'.

He is actually doing everyone a favour because his objectional behaviour is highlighting the flaws with our membership of the European Union. He was followed onto the screen this lunchtime by someone every bit as arrogant and abusive as himself, Lord Prescott. I cannot think of anyone from the Political Class who epitomises the arrogant bully so well as John Prescott. In his time he has ditched more socialist principles than any other man alive and yet he still gets air time. He was positively gloating today that the prisoners would win the right to vote because the Strasbourg judges can overrule British Law. Our Justice Minister Ken Clarke also agrees with him.

So there you have it, three men all with the same agenda. All three positively delighted that the Human Rights Act has hammered one more nail into the coffin of British Society. All three of them in the same boat and all three reflecting personal characteristics which would horrify decent people.

I cannot think of a better reason for demanding a referendum on the EU and in today's debate our politicians should be concentrating on this issue and nothing else. David Cameron says he fells 'physically sick' about giving the prisoners the vote but he still won't do the decent thing. What is he scared of? What prevents him from broaching the key issue in modern politics?

UPDATE: The Commons has thrown it out! No votes for prisoners. Now the fun will start when the EU commissars try to exact their revenge!

Justice for All!

I have always believed that Ken Clarke should have been pensioned off years ago. It does not surprise me that he is an arch Europhile because he has that arrogance that few can credit. He has a habit of talking over people when he hears anything that opposes his own views.

For years he has been elected as a Conservative MP even though everything he supports is anything but conservative. He is actually a rabid socialist as his recent pronouncements on our justice system have proven. Even as weak as our justice system has become Ken Clarke wants to weaken it further and has drawn up plans to support The Criminal Class.

Whenever the subject of prison is discussed we always hear the word 'rehabilitation' used to excuse weakness. I have know quite a few reformed jailbirds and without exception they rehabilitated themselves. They decided that they no longer wished to spend time behind bars and they and they alone set about reforming their criminal past.

I would accept shorter sentences if they were rough sentences. Prisons must be a deterrent and clearly at the moment they are far too cushy and far too lax. The ready availability of drugs is a nonsense which should be addressed. The reoffending rate is the yardstick around which any future plans should be drawn. If criminals are returning time after time then the justice system is failing the law abiding. That should be the criteria that nutty Ken should be addressing not his own crazy socialist agenda.
