I read a story yesterday which summed up the judicial system hoist on us by the Political Class in this country. Way back in 2011 a pensioner was bludgeoned to death in his own home by two 'travellers'. Despite the nature of this horrendous murder the police were met by a 'wall of silence' from the 'travelling community'. Those of us who call a spade a shovel would not expect anything else from this over protected minority group.
The police described them as 'career criminals' but they are only that because our judicial system allows them carte blanche to become 'career criminals', but here is the real rub. One of the offenders had been jailed for five years for a similar attack on a 73 year old woman during a burglary at her home in February last year!! He had battered the woman to death with her own walking stick!
So let me get this right! This 'traveller' commits wanton murder on a pensioner and only gets five years. He is after all a 'career criminal' so how many offences has he actually committed? Since when have sentences for murder be reduced to five years and then since when is he allowed out onto the streets within a year?
I want to know who is making these decisions? Who is placing the elderly in jeopardy by allowing murdering travellers back onto the streets only weeks after the most horrendous of crimes.
At the moment they are only 26 and 21 years old so after committing two murders against defenceless pensioners they have received sentences of 24 and 22 years respectively. Given time off for 'good behaviour' they will be out on the streets just in time to bump off more pensioners. What is going on and when will we get a government that will react to the fears of the public?

Interviews for Jurors?
It had to come. Finally we stumble across a jury panel who generally do not have a clue about the legal process in this country. Because of the lack of safeguards and checks they get allocated one of the most high profile cases in recent months. The mainstream media has been full of Chris Huhne and his wife Vicki Price for at least the past year.
This jury comprising eight women and four men of which only two were white. At least twice, the court finished early because a jury member had a 'religious observance' to keep. Now pardon me but in this country we fit our 'religious observance' around our civic duties. I am astonished that the judge allowed this to stand and that is probably part of the problem.
We have allowed our tolerance and apathy to superceed our common sense. From what I read most of these people had little idea about formal attire so that the solemnity of the occasion was not respected. Clearly their knowledge and respect of our court system was minimal. It is not entirely their fault. We have allowed this lack of respect for our country to develop. The incomers have been encouraged to disrespect our systems, our traditions and our customs.
The politicians and the judiciary have gradually given up so much of what we valued that yesterday's farce was inevitable. May I respectfully suggest that potential jurors arrive early and are then subject to a swift interview to ascertain suitability. If they are dressed incorrectly or do not understand the procedure or cannot understand English then they can be dismissed and struck off the juror eligibility list. I would also fine them but that might then become complex.
In my entire life I have only been called once for jury service. I am of course not what they want. It is much more likely that I will judge events on the evidence and not on what the courts want the verdict to be. I would also raise the age of eligibility to 25. Too many of the victims of our modern education system cannot choose a breakfast cereal never mind reach a legal conclusion!
If our politicians and judiciary want to prevent a repeat of yesterday they must narrow the criteria for eligibility for jury service and enforce our traditional values. We only have ourselves to blame.

The Law and the Services
I have posted about this before but there appears to be an undercurrent of antipathy from the Home Office or the UK Border Service towards any individual who has a service background. Time after time a person who has any type of service background is treated unfairly when involved with the law. It is just as if an edict has been secretly issued that anyone who has a service background is not likely to one of 'us' and should therefore be taught a lesson.
Currently there are two cases in the public domain. A survivor of the 7/7 bombing, Professor John Tulloch, a 70 year old university lecturer was told that 'as a British subject without citizenship' he was no longer entitled to remain. His crime appears to be that his father served as a major in the army and he was born in colonial India! He has been in England since the age of 3 and can trace his family back to the 14th century.
Considering the number kids (including my own) who were born while their parents were serving overseas do they all have to worry now that they are 'British subjects without citizenship'. Professor Tulloch almost had to beg for justice which, considering the number of potential terrorists we have in our prisons and on the streets, is hardly reassuring.
Then we have the case of Sergeant Danny Nightingale an SAS sergeant currently banged up for 18 months for apparently being in possession of an illegal firearm! He didn't even bring it into the country himself. Now he may have technically committed a crime but for heaven's sake...people get less for violence! He has served with the colours for 17 years but now his wife is forced to publicly plea to the PM! Something is very wrong in this country. There are very evil people in our midst and we should all be on our guard.

Secret Courts in Britain?
| Mr Roger Hayes |
Now comes news that is going viral that he has been arrested, charged and jailed in a secret court which seems to have been convened for this one case. Many of the leading bloggers are making this very public because this is Stasi style justice which we have been warning about for some time now.
I personally don't know the details but they can be found here along with some pertinent questions that need to be addressed. This is justice under Ken Clarke and a political party which purports to represent Conservative thinking in this country.
If this is not addressed in Westmonster then our fears for democracy in this country will have been substantiated. It also opens the door for anyone who protests against governmental actions to be treated similarly.

Accountability within the Justice System
We are regularly informed by the mainstream media that career criminals who are apprehended by the police are routinely granted bail and then released to continue their criminal practices. There seems to be no rhyme or reason behind granting bail to violent criminals but when things go wrong and members of the public are assaulted or killed as a result nobody is accountable.
Recently the police arrested a career criminal who had been sentenced to 8 years in 2004 for stabbing a householder during a burglary. He had been arrested, wait for it, for a sexual offence and assault but the had also been charged with theft, trespass and possession of cannabis! How on earth does someone decide that this person is safe to be on the streets? Clearly he is a danger to the public and of course he was because now he is being hunted suspected of committing two murders.
So who made the decision? What were his/her reasons? Will he/she ever again be allowed to grant bail to anyone after such cataclysmic errors of judgement? The answer is that whoever made the decision cannot be held accountable. We don't know who they are and very likely they are making the same decisions today.
Until someone brings back justice to the justice system then this country will continue on the downward spiral into an abyss. The criminal club which today includes the perpetrator, the police and the legal profession (but rarely the victims) appears to flourish across the land with criminals being given every benefit of the doubt imaginable. Will anyone challenge it? Don't hold your breath!

Absolute Madness!
A night club bouncer rapes and murders a heavily pregnant woman; he then decides to kill her unborn child and then just to compound the crime he burns her body. His DNA is everywhere so he is as guilty as hell. He is sentenced to a minimum of 35 years in prison which we all know is a misnomer. Under our present sentencing policy he will be out and about before he is 40. This is a clear case for capital punishment and generally the public would support it.
Members of our 'emergency services' are ordered not to try and save a drowning man. They all stand back and watch as the guy drowns! They are paid a good salary to protect the public and yet they are 'ordered' to stand back and...they do it! The Fire Officer who gave the order clearly works for the EU and should be sacked. The officers are cowards and it proves that if you and I are in trouble don't expect help from the emergency services.
Another splendid result of our mass immigration policy. Will any of these beasts be deported? Don't hold your breath because they will enjoy the luxury of our legal system and then continue laughing at the British public. This photo sums it all up!
Lastly Lyn Homer, who has a track record as long as her arm, has just been appointed head of HMRC. This woman is so useless she appears to have destroyed almost everything that she has touched! Clearly she is the most modernised of all modernisers. Obviously she is the right person to head an organisation which is completely out of control! Lyn Homer epitomises everything that is wrong with our political system. The scam continues and will continue until you dear people decide that enough is enough!
Oh by the way the most important subject for the PM today seems to have been the sexuality of the professional footballer! They have been unable to find a 'gay' footballer and they wonder why!

How can anyone justify this?
As most of you know I often despair at the state of our Justice system. It is most definitely skewed towards the criminal. We seem to have acquired a group of the most liberal judges anywhere in the world headed by a Lord Chief Justice Judge described as Britain's most senior judge.
This judge has just presided over a case reported by the press as utterly horrific. The criminal is 21 years of age and clearly a danger to children. Only the most depraved would act like he did. He was sentenced to life which we all know under British justice is a misnomer. In reality he received 15 years with a considerable chunk off for good behaviour. He could be out on the streets again long before his sex drive diminishes and someone as rotten as this is almost bound to repeat his behaviour as he has a string of offences to his name already.
So does the judge think of the children or the parents of the children? Well I am sure that you can all anticipate the answer because as always seems to happen in these cases he has reduced the sentence even further by 18 months! The reason? So that other paedophiles would be encouraged to plead guilty! What arrant nonsense...they will plead guilty now that they know they will receive such a bloody light sentence!
It was the responsibility of this senior judge to protect the public. He has singularly failed to do this. He is allowing this dangerous young man another chance to inflict himself on other unsuspecting youngsters in the future. One day it just might be the grandchildren of the judge who are the victims !

Genuine Racism is Allowed in this country!
A story appeared in the Daily Mail today which has highlighted the hypocrisy of British justice. A Somali Muslim girl gang from Leicester were given suspended sentences for attacking a white British girl and were found guilty of actual bodily harm which carries a maximum sentence of five years. During the attack one of them was heard to scream, "Kill the white slag" (or words to that effect)!
This ridiculous sentence is designed purely to fan the flames of racism in this country. This Judge...Robert Brown, should immediately be sacked because to claim that he would excuse the attackers because they were Muslims and not used to drink is ludicrous! It is a decision based purely on racism and should be appealed.
Nobody forced it down their throats! Nobody forced them to scream racist slogans! Nobody forced them to violence! If the boot was on the other foot then the white attackers would have had the book thrown at them. Judge Robert Brown has form on hard sentencing but then he has just proven that he is incompetent like so many others who represent the state in our legal system.
His sentencing policy is racist and he should be exposed for it! No wonder we have groups like the English Defence League when we have judges like this!

How bad do things have to get?
On Thursday I posted my thoughts on the Criminal Justice System that poses as law and order in this country. I was particularly scathing on sentencing and prison conditions because it is my contention that criminals have NO fear of justice in this country. We tolerate the most horrendous crimes and watch helplessly as the perpetrators are given slaps on the wrist and then released very quickly to commit repeat offences against the public.
So when I read that a 79 year old lady has been murdered trying to defend a handbag containing her husbands ashes then I really have to ask the question...how bad will things have to get before someone in Westmonster admits that we must change the system? How bad must it get before someone stands up at PM's Question Time and demands justice for victims? How bad must it get before we convert our publically sponsored holiday camps into proper prisons with harsh conditions?
If we ever catch the person who mugged this old lady why can't he/she be publically flogged or even (better still) executed. When will we insist that the punishment fits the crime? Why do we tolerate uncivilised behaviour and insist that the public abide by civilised actions? It is time for a return to medieval punishment because it would herald a return to civilised behaviour!
There is a sizeable minority in our society who choose criminality above honesty. They choose that path because they have nothing to fear. Their is, at the moment, no deterrent which would persuade them that criminality is actually not worth it.
We are rapidly descending into the abyss. Crimes are bordering on the unfathomable. Very soon some of us will not be able to imagine the type of crime unfolding. It must stop! Somebody in government...anybody of any party...must realise that the system we use, the people who administer this system..must change their direction. We have to announce a dramatic attempt to introduce fear into the criminal fraternity.
I would suggest that the government commissions a mozzy ridden, uninhabited Scottish island close to the Outer Hebrides and convert it into a prison! Drop food in on a weekly basis! Let them fight for it! Some might die but I reckon nobody will want to go back. The very mention of a sentence on this island would very soon strike terror in the heart of every criminal. Sentences could be short (3 months should be enough), it would be very cheap to administer and should only be used for the nastiest of crimes.
You may dismiss this idea but then I challenge you to instigate anything else that will instantly stop crimes where old ladies are killed trying to defend their husbands ashes!

The Criminal Justice System
Every time that we see a major crime, or a repetitious crime or any kind of violence the punishment never fits the crime. So where do we start?
Well we all know that the police have disappeared from the streets at least where the defence of the public is concerned. No matter what the politicians say we do not have bobbies on the beat and consequently we are vulnerable to local thugs and in many area this means gangs of kids.
So what happens in the unlikely event that one of these criminals is actually brought before the court? The victim is ignored. Then all the excuses are brought into play by defence lawyers who frankly are well versed in the 'game' of getting their thug (client) a soft sentence.
Then when they have committed so very many similar crimes and it is apparent that the public would no longer tolerate this individual on the streets a sentence is concocted. They are 'sentenced' to a period of detention by a judge who knows very well that the 'system' will NEVER allow that sentence to be served in full. Time after time criminals are allowed back into our society (no matter the crime) to enjoy a freedom they do not deserve. It is appalling.
So what happens when the habitual criminal, the so very bad person, actually commits crimes against society and is locked up? They face a life of luxury which most of us could never afford. Free meals, free medical care, free dental care, free gyms, free libraries, free access to degree courses, free accommodation and free... well I don't know... but even drugs are readily available in our prisons.
Our prisons are luxury salons for the very worst of our criminals!
So let me pose a question to our politicians...when will you introduce a system which will punish a CRIMINAL!? How can we the public continue to support a system which rewards crime and subjects our children and grandchildren to a life behind closed doors?
David Cameron why do you allow this in a so called democracy? Why do you appoint a europhile like Ken Clarke as a Justice Minister? Ed Miliband... why do you not lead this as a leading question at PM's Question Time? Are we, the public, not worth protecting?
Nick Clegg...oh never mind!
Until we redress the balance of the lack of criminal justice then we will never have a decent society. I don't know what drives our mainstream politicians to accept what blatantly is an injustice but they never seem to address the major problems that causes this injustice. They never address it! Why? Because it keeps us all in our place and the system is actually corrupt. In my opinion our courts are actually illegal...that is one of the very many reasons that they soft pedal on crime.
We the public accept everything because we are apathetic. We never get on the streets and demonstrate like the Greeks, Egyptians, Italians, Tunisians, Bahrenians, Syrians and we have a similar gripe. We should never need to take to the streets but increasingly our useless and corrupt justice system is letting us all down. They are politically driven and it is not enough.

CROWN v Crown!
I have just spent an hour listening to a Canadian explaining why we the British, the original home of democracy, have been duped by persons or people unknown. We have trundled on in our ignorance and apathy refusing to challenge anyone or anything and in the meantime certain parties have actually conquered our country.
Now hands up all those people who really believe that our legal system is headed by Her Majesty the Queen of England? Is she not the only authority under the Magna Carta and is she not the defender of Common Law? When we hear the terms the Crown Prosecution Service and Crown Prosecutor do we not all believe that this refers to the Queen?
Would you be surprised to learn that it does not refer to the Queen? It actually refers to the Crown Corporation of Inner London. In fact it probably transpires that Elizabeth Windsor (hereinafter called 'The Queen') did not sign the Treaty of Lisbon, which signed away our freedom to Europe. It was probably signed by the Crown Corporation of Inner London.
Please do not ask me who the Crown Corporation of Inner London actually are...but any regular visitor to this blog would actually hazard a guess at a certain banking family!
This Canadian advises that if we challenge the courts on their legality then we could sue them. Remember the attempts in February to arrest the judge in Birkenhead? The legal system in this country has been usurped and one final thing. When you come to cast a vote in the future then just remember that all of these mainstream politicians know what is happeniing. They are part of the fraud!
Wake up England!

Norman Scarth
Very briefly can I draw your attention to a petition which is being publicised on Captain Ranty's blog. If you read what he has to say on the plight of an 86 year old ex-serviceman who has been incarcerated without legal representation or medication you cannot help to be disgusted of the spite of some of our politicians and judges.
There is no point of me repeating the details of this case but I feel duty bound to direct you to it.

The Liberals against the Realists!
All day I have watched the news media struggling with the aftermath of the rioting youth. It is clear that David Cameron has passed down an edict that we cannot have young people looting and anarchy on the streets. He is of course right. I have often criticised him but this time he is bang on the button. The bottom line is that people died, homes were burnt out and small (and large) businesses were devastated.
Personally I don't care if they stole a packet of crisps I would jail them and the reason is that we must set an example. We must have a line which cannot be crossed. The young people must understand that stealing is wrong. There are no degrees of wrongdoing. What is wrong is wrong.
The reason that the riots happened was clearly that the British justice system has lost the respect of the youth of the country. They plainly believe that the police are ineffective, that the courts are weak and if you are unlucky enough to be jailed then you will have a cushy life.
Once again the victims of crime in this country are being ignored by the Liberal political elite who are fighting desperately to defend their failed policies. Constantly the term 'knee jerk reaction' is being used to describe anyone hoping to reverse the trend of weak sentencing and cushy prisons. Some of the offenders are screaming blue murder that they ONLY did this... and ONLY did that but this is the result of years where we have excused criminality.
I don't altogether trust David Cameron but at least he has grasped the nettle and at long, long last we are seeing sentences which reflect the crime. My only worry is that once he has demonstrated his response to the riots things will gradually slink back to the norm. Already the senior police chiefs are proposing that policing gets back to normal (you know... no police on the streets) and sentencing will also follow this example.
The riots of last weekend highlighted what has happend to this country. They have rebounded around the world. Friends of mine in NewZealand and Australia have been shocked by the images which have been shown because they are shocking!!
London was burning just like the Blitz and the people who did it were in the main the young criminals who are probably all on benefits. The politicians and the police and the judges have all encouraged them and must hold their hands up! They are just as guilty as the newspaper industry in encouraging this anarchy. Everywhere the public are under attack from criminal gangs and the mainstream media doesn't report it. If you don't believe me get onto Youtube and watch the police being chased down the streets by a Muslim group after a 'Freedom for Palestine' rally !
We must never drop our guard. This must be the fightback against criminality... yeah I know I can also see the flying pigs in the sky!! Tomorrow we will be back to the norm ...until the next time!

Ancient Law and Our Law...
For some time now I have been directing passers by frequently to the Captain Ranty blog as he continues to expose the deceit upon which are courts are based. From time to time the legitimacy of our courts have been challenged by individuals (who I think have got a lot of courage) which led to the Birkenhead protests on 07 March where protestors 'arrested' the judge.
Down in Torquay another challenge took place where a guy called Max Cann used ancient laws to defend himself against motoring offences. He was locked up for his troubles (it is all on YouTube) but the court case was recently held and is reported here.
Mr Cann turned the court inside out by referring to ancient laws and walked away scot free. They didn't know what to do with him! His story is here. It is difficult for someone like me to understand how we could have corrupted the justice system in this country to such an extent. However, when we actually take the time to examine the system and challenge it then up pops all this fraud.
I sometimes think that the only place that we can discover the truth is on YouTube because the mainstream media (particularly the BBC) misconstrues the truth alarmingly. The reports on UK Uncut are a prime example of this. As usual the truth appears on YouTube. The modern camera with the facility to video is a wonderful tool and is demonstrated here.
This is happening all over the land. I will leave you to draw your own conclusions.

The Law and New Labour
I recently read that since they came to power NoLab have swamped the statute book by the sheer volume of new legislation that they have introduced. Most of it has made no difference to our lives whatsoever but some laws have been so mind bogglingly stupid that they really should be reviewed so let me write about the 'End of Custody Licence Scheme'.
This act was introduced by Lord Falconer (remember him better known as Tony Blair's former flat mate) who just before he was replaced by Jack Straw as Justice Minister, thought up this bill as a mechanism to control the overcrowded prisons. You will notice that he didn't try to police the streets more effectively, or build more prisons or even limit mass immigration. No, good old Charlie Falconer thought it better to let release prisoners early.
Now if my arithmetic is correct there are fourteen categories of prisoner who according to this bill are not eligible for early release. It has given the lawyers a field day particularly arguing the case of immigrant prisoners because apparently European Law and the Human Rights Act probably gives them a lot more rights than you and me. Deporting many of them appears to be a serious problem but when did we expect anything else?
Anyway never mind the obvious because this Bill states that prisoners can be released 18 days early (Why 18 days?) as long as they fall into the category not mentioned in the fourteen categories that I have already mentioned. In addition they need to have an address to go to.
The problem is that a couple of thousand of the foreign prisoners who are eligible for release under the Early Licence scheme have no fixed abode so some clever Civil Servant decided that they could still be released as long as they were given sufficient money to cover their food and accommodation for the 18 days! They are therefore being given £168 each and then the rest is up to us to make sure that we don't meet them on a dark night!
Just a few other little observations to make you feel good. No account was taken of those who had been locked up for domestic violence so they were sent back home! 89 others are still on the run (it is probably more by now but I don't place huge reliance on government statistics because I used to see how they were collated), two terrorists were released and despite the effort to relieve the overcrowding there are three of our prisons that are exclusively dedicated to the detention of foreign nationals.
This is life under the New Labour Project so Happy New Year folks!

Citizens' Rights
The recent case of the ex-soldier who made a citizen's arrest on one of the teenagers who had been systematically damaging his property and then found himself on a charge of kidnap made me think very hard about what rights the law abiding have in today's society.
In the recent case the guy had rung a 'hotline' and been kept on hold for 45 minutes! What is the point of a so called 'hotline' if it isn't manned properly? Most of us know that in this day and age the police won't confront young tearaways so a 999 call would also prove fruitless. It would appear that we're now on our own without police protection so what can we do?
The infamous case of the Norfolk farmer, Tony Martin, proved that we cannot use fire arms to defend ourselves. We are informed that we have to use only 'reasonable force' if confronted by robbers. What is reasonable force? I would hate to kill someone defending my wife and dog (she is very old and never was very brave - the dog that is) and then face some smart arse criminal lawyer trying to prove that the nine iron which I buried into the head of the intruder in the dark was 'unreasonable'. I could face a long sentence for defending my property.
The point I am trying to make is that sooner or later some quick thinking criminal type is going to realise that we homeowners in twenty first century Britain are, to all and intents and purposes, defenceless. There are an awful lot of immigrants for example, some of them East European Romanies, looking for somewhere to rest their weary heads and there are a lot pensioners sitting in valuable properties which they worked hard to buy many years ago.
If the examples of police indifference which are being ever more frequently being reported then someone, somewhere, will be the first resident to lose their home to intruders. Don't tell me that it won't happen because at the moment it is entirely feasible unless someone gets the police to do their bloody job!

Crime and our Politicians!
I watched the Politics Show today and I must admit that Andrew Neil is superb in the role of presenter because he does not let the waffling politicians away with their prepared lies. The ridiculous lie that crime is down has to be challenged but Caroline Flint (NoLab) continually tried to pass it off as a statistic which was beyond approach. Andrew Neil however, qualified it by insisting that the manufactured statistics did not recognise that violent crime and juvenile crime was on the increase and that is the extent of the problem.
NoLab have their own set of stats which only tell the story that they want you to believe. That is in all walks of life. Their stats on inflation are manufactured which we all recognise and their stats on crime are also unbelievable particularly when one views the recent publicity on knife crime.
How can we curtail the advance of violence in this country when the government refuses to believe that we have a problem?
We need more prisons. We need a tougher stance on crime. Nobody wants to step out of line but until someone does then crime will continue to escalate. Whenever the government is approached about crime they quote their own corrupt stats which really are not the point. The stats are unacceptable because most people cannot see the point of reporting crime. All they get is a crime number for insurance purposes.
When will someone really get a grip on crime?

British Law!
I am refusing to discuss the thoughts of the Archbishop of Canterbury because frankly I believe that the Church of England long ago abdicated their right to discuss the social deprivations of our country never mind the law of the country!
These out of touch clerics have let down their own Christians over many decades by rejecting the principles of their Christian origins, ignoring the problems of our civilisation, ignoring the social deprivations of so many of the ethnic English and electing to be political animals instead.
The cry has gone out that British Law is paramount when faced with Sharia Law. Where were all these defenders of British Law when Tony Blair introduced European Law? Most of us now know that European Law supercedes British Law. Our judges have to adhere by the dodgy decisions of the Sentencing Guidelines Committee who have allowed criminals to prosper. In effect British Law does not actually exist but then what does that matter if you are trying to con the gullible British public?
