Occasionally I post about my beloved Rams because I just enjoy airing my opinions. I must admit that I have been highly critical of the manager Nigel Clough because in the past his negative approach and ultra defensive tactics have cost us points.
In addition I believe that he is a 'company' man in that he has been instructed to reduce the wages bill and to do that he has ignored one or two better players when he should have fielded them in times of crisis. One of them, Stephen Pearson, yesterday evening, scored the only goal for his loan team Bristol City against league leaders Southampton away from home. There is another player who could make the starting eleven, Dean Leacock, but I suspect for the reason of economics he is being ignored. I don't like that.
Nigel Clough's forays into the transfer market are patchy. He has signed a plethora of players who have never made the grade. I won't go into details but when they have paid out money it has been successful. The defensive combination of Sean Barker and Jason Shackell has twice recently proven resolute under extreme pressure. They have held firm when in recent games they would have crumbled.
So on this New Year's Eve of 2012 let me praise Darren Wassall the boss of the youth team. Already we have had so many academy players promoted to the first team squad. Currently in the championship picture are Callum Ball, Jeff Hendrick, Mark O'Brien ( injured) Will Hughes (aged 16) and Mason Bennett (aged 15). This is a remarkable record and it is compounded because the academy team this year has already knocked out Arsenal (away from home) and now face a game against Manchester United (away from home).
I have been highly critical of Nigel in the past. I do not like his tactics or his psychology because this team often freezes towards the end of a game. I cannot remember a time when the Rams actually attack during the last ten minutes of a game. Currently during the whole season we have not scored a goal in the last 15 minutes! This is purely because Nigel is so scared that we concede a goal that he panics. Witness the game against Peterborough when we lost a two goal lead because he tried to defend it instead of going for a third goal to win the game.
Like most football fans I have hopes. We have improved and currently we are moving better than local rivals Leicester and Forest, the latter have not scored a goal for seven games! Oh deep joy! The Rams are moving forward on a shoestring. It is probably not enough.

Modernisation - the curse of our country!
I have been reading about modernisation and the modernisers and at long last I have seen the light. For the past 20 years I have been searching for the reasons that the social contract that bound the citizens of my country together was under such attack from within the country.
It has all been done under the guise of 'modernisation' a term originally coined by the socialists of the Frankfurt Institute many decades ago. These socialists thrive on a bland and boring language which means nothing to most of us but to their own contains a highly significant and dangerous message.
They readily bandy about terminology like, urbanisation, industrialisation, globalisation, secularisation along with other 'isations' which appear nebulous until they are defined and put into context with events in real life. When we read the definitions which I have linked with Wikipedia and then compare them with the mass immigration which has been inflicted upon us then everything becomes so much clearer.
The modernisers and their lackeys, recruited through 'Common Purpose', ensured during 13 years of Labour rule that our country was invaded by hundreds of thousands of immigrants thus fulfilling the criteria of almost all of their 'isations'. When we also read the definition of secularisation then we can believe that the perceived attacks on our Christian based culture is not imaginary because it has all been planned.
I was alerted to the culture of 'isations' by that admirable political commentator Peter Oborne who recently penned this article. It would appear that David Cameron is beginning to realise that 'modernisation' is not the way forward. In the meantime he has to struggle to hold together a party split between modernisers and eurosceptics. It does seem strange to me that all three main political parties have modernisers in their ranks and that is why it never seem to matter who wins the election because all the leading players are modernisers!
Personally I have another name for people who attempt to dismantle their own society from within. So just for the record the following appear happy to be termed 'modernisers', Kinnock, Blair, Brown, Mandelson, Harman, Clegg, Cable, Laws, Andrew Mitchell (Foreign Aid), Maude, Justine Greening, Claire Perry,Matthew Hancock, Jesse Norman and Ed Vaisey. There are of course many, many, more and Chris Huhne just has to be on the list but now I know what I'm looking for the task will become easier.

Syria... the people will win because it is inevitable!
The few grainy mobile phone clips that are emerging from Syria are alarming. It is quite clear that the people are in open revolt against the government. As in Libya the government has responded with as much force as it can muster.
They will never learn. When the people take to the streets there is only ever one outcome. Eventually no matter how many bullets are fired into how many crowds the people get their hands on the responsible person. The days of Bashar al Asad are numbered. He is dead man walking.
I do wonder however, when the utterly cowed people of North Korea will rebel. Their's must be the most evil regime in the world to commit a whole population to public humiliation! I can't believe that there is a country in the world, no matter how hard line, who does not wince at the performance of the North Koreans!! Of course if you are that terrified you will act your heart out no matter how badly!
My heart goes out to them.
I have included Ed Miliband in my labels because his desire is that we will all weep like the North Koreans if he receives a vote from anyone who does not have a vested interest in the European socialist empire! All together now! Wowweeeeeeee!

The Monarchy and the EU...who rules?
Whenever the BBC overplays an issue then I begin to suspect their motives. Over the festive period they have obsessively covered the Duke of Edinburgh's heart scare. Now I know that the Christmas period is slow for news, apart from ethnic gangs stabbing each other in the Boxing Day sales, but this coverage was way over the top!
I do wonder what message they are trying to convey because in the blogosphere a major debate is raging about the validity of this monarchy. Behind the scenes of the BBC and the mainstream media a serious discussion is emerging about the constitutional position of the monarchy and that relationship with the European Union.
In other words has the Queen actually signed away her Coronation oaths to the unelected commissars of the EU!? The problem is that hardly anyone could ever contemplate that our monarch knowingly would sell her country down the river. It is unthinkable! It is beyond any comprehension because we in the UK have such a solid base for democracy and it is built around parliament and the monarchy.
So what is the problem with these pesky bloggers and this bloody constitution? Why are they so concerned? Why do they stay up late at night stressing that the EU has usurped the monarchy? Well I can do no better than refer you to this discussion (scroll down to the 'On Sovereignty' post) and the accompanying comments and the Youtube clip.
Is this the reason that the BBC continues to promote the Royal Family? Is this really the mother of all cover ups? Have we been duped by the very person who is revered by so many? I would hope not but I am seriously beginning to have my doubts. What about you?

Wherever you go!
The unexpected success of the army wife's choir with their number one Christmas hit song speaks volumes for the hearts of the British people. It doesn't matter how many Common Purpose goons they hire, how many Liberal europhiles they stuff into Westmonster or what European laws are forced upon us the British people will always do the right thing.
They know that the British soldiers are fighting in a war that only the politicians can justify and that their wives and families often spend months waiting for their loved ones to return that is when they do return. The public as usual were never granted an opportunity to show their support for the troops so they invented Wootton Bassett which must have deeply embarrassed the Political Class.
Now along comes another opportunity for the public to issue yet another spontaneous gesture to the politicians. It is a rather nice and sentimental song but for it to top the Christmas charts in such a spectacular manner suggests there is a much more important message being directed at our politicians.
In almost every living room this Christmas when families gathered together there have been muttered conversations about the state of the country. We don't want this miserable association with unelected European socialists. We really do want our country back and one day we will get it so think on Mr Cameron... because if we can't rely on you then we will find someone else.

Happy Christmas!
It is time for the grumpy one to wish everyone a really Happy Christmas! I have just returned home from a normal Friday evening at my local club. The bowls section of the club always congregate in the same corner...it is becoming a row because it seems to be expanding.
I am so thankful that I have so many social friends because life is meaningless without friends. It is at this time of year that people actually begin to appreciate what they have got. So Merry Christmas to my family, to my mates, Bert, Derrick (spelling), John, Paul, Rob and Margaret, Colin and Cinth, Michael and Jane, my relations Chris and Derek and their families and my mother in law, to Ali's church friends, to Ruth and Ben and family, to my dear Mum, to my NLITEC ex trainees, Jay (who supports me without question) and her family, lovely Jackie who works such long hours and Bec who I have found again after so many years. Then we go north to Scotland to Iain's friends Jess, Tris, Linda and Dan and Ann.
I would also like to include my son's ex wife Janine because she is responsible for our third granddaughter Taylor. My old army mate Bill and his wife Valerie and then Dennis and Jen and Pete and Sue and Ann and Mick and Alex and Jane...this is getting ridiculous!
I have probably forgotten so many people but I have tried to illustrate how friendships are so important and mean so much at this time of year. I could go further afield to America and to Australia, to Hong Kong but I have just realised what a lucky guy I am! Maybe in the New Year I should stop being so grumpy but then I seriously care about the state of my country!
Finally may I just thank all of the people who have drifted past this blog and contributed. Somehow I am attracting an audience of sorts because my viewing figures continue to escalate. Most of it is thanks to Captain Ranty for picking up this humble blog and granting me an Awkward Sod status! The fight against oppression will continue.

Common Purpose
When I began this blog back in January 2008 one of my first posts concerned the secret government recruiting organisation 'Common Purpose'. I have since posted 31 times on Common Purpose because I believe it is important. This organisation is linked to the European Union and their 'graduates' have infiltrated every aspect of public life.
Some time ago I discovered a list of graduates which illustrates the extent to which these people have pervaded our society. There are people from Education, The Police, the NHS, Trade Unions, Banks, Civil Service, the BBC (inevitably)and a variety of quangos.
For a time I concentrated on those police officers who had been recruited to attend the matrix course. It is relatively easy to see when they 'matrixed' and then 'google' their subsequent career and some have had spectacular advancements. Yesterday it was announced that four senior police officers were under investigation for malpractice. The most senior, the Chief Constable of Northants, Alan Lee, is yet another Common Purpose devotee.
I am not the only person concerned about the tentacles of 'Common Purpose' running the country regardless of electoral result. Someone in Stoke has highlighted the extent of the problem in his local area. I know others are also trying to uncover this modern secret society.
One of the most high profile 'graduates' is Asst Commissioner Cressida Dick of the Metropolitan Police. She was in charge of the squad which mistakenly bumped off Jean Claude de Menezes the Brazilian electrician at Stockwell. John Walker penned a Freedom of Information request simply asking if she had attended a Common Purpose course? The obfuscation and delay is comical particularly when the answer can be found on my 'list of graduates' link!
Sorry about all the links. I realise that it is a lot of reading but they are very deeply entrenched and we will never have integrity in our public services until we root them out and expose them.

The Big Man
The mainstream media is reporting that the 'big man' who threw a student off a Scotrail train because he did not have a valid ticket is to be charged with assault! Is this not just typical of our justice system?
Here we had a young man defying the ticket inspector, using abusive language and delaying everyone else. The big man in question, Alan Pollock, is actually seen asking the ticket inspector if he wants the lad off the train. The official answers in the affirmative and the rest is history.
In hindsight it could have been handled better and I'm sure that we all know that. The ticket inspector should not have delayed the train. There must be less confrontational approaches to fare dodgers than the one that he used. The student should not have used bad language in public (surely an offence) and I believe if he had been apologetic and reasonable then his name and address would have been sufficient.
The 'big man' asked the ticket inspector if he required assistance so what did he do wrong? He had been given authority to remove the offender. Other passengers applauded his action. I think that he was offended by the language and attitude of the student who only had himself to blame. When will our legal system learn common sense? Of course it will now get controversial and expensive and only the lawyers will win.

'We will make the west so corrupt that it stinks!'
I have been posting on this blog for almost 4 years. It was born out of frustration that I did not have a voice and that now I was retired I had the time to indulge myself. It has been an interesting journey because I do not have influential friends who could promote me so all I could do was write and write and hope that sooner or later I attracted some attention.
I have always maintained that the current social plight that we, here in the UK suffer, has been imposed upon us. Let's face it our social 'contract' has been destroyed. Who took the police off the streets? Who allowed diseases to thrive in our hospitals? Who approved mass immigration, many of them criminals and undesirables? Who gave a rabid Muslim population such a loud voice? Who encouraged young single girls to get pregnant? Who discouraged the family unit? I could go on for ever.
Today following my previous post from Australia, where their 'journey' is just beginning, I attracted a comment from 'Sue' and she provided me with this link http://bit.ly/tFcXxg. It opened my eyes because for the first time I have something to hang my hat on. If you don't know where to start then you have no research direction.
The decay that we are experiencing in this country has been planned. It was planned way back in the nineteen twenties at the Institute for Social Research in Frankfurt. One of the original conspirators a guy called Willi Munzenberg, claimed that, 'we will make the west so corrupt that it stinks'. Well he got that right and that explains what is happening by courtesy of the EU. The commissioners of the EU are the modern day equivalent of the members of the Frankfurt Institute.
I intend to devote a lot more time to this. We the public must discover a way to fight back and restore our Christian values which are being dismantled from within. It is ironic that the only opposition that these disenchanted academics have received came from Adolf Hitler of all people who forced them to flee Frankfurt!

It is happening everywhere!
I recently received an E-Mail from a friend in Australia which I reproduce below. It would appear that the Australians, under their socialist government, are now facing the same problems which bedevilled the UK under Bliar/Brown. Someone, somewhere is organising an attempt to subvert every country living under democracy. Below is a cry from the heart which so many of us will recognise!
Whether you love him or hate him, he hits a raw nerve!

"I am the Labor Party's Worst Nightmare. I am a White, Conservative, Tax-Paying, God fearing Australian. I am a hard working Australian and I work long hours to earn a living.
I believe in God and the freedom of religion, but I don't push it on others.
I drive Australian-made cars, and I believe in Australian products and buy them whenever I can.
I believe the money I make belongs to me and not some bloody governmental functionary, Labor/Greens or Liberal, that wants to share it with others who don't work!
I'm in touch with my feelings and I like it that way!
I think owning a home doesn't make you a capitalist; it makes you a smart Australian. I think being a minority does not make you noble or victimized, and does not entitle you to anything. Get over it!
I believe that if you are selling me a Big Mac or any other item, you should do it in English. I believe there should be no other language option.
I believe everyone has a right to pray to his or her God when and where they want to.
My heroes are, fellow Australians like Don Bradman, Steve Waugh, Alan Langer, Slim Dusty, Fred Hollows and the Aussie scientists who invented the bionic ear - missed a few I know.
I don't hate the rich, but hate the way they always find ways to pay less taxes. I don't pity the poor, I hate the way they are always crying that they are hard done by!!
I know wrestling is fake and I don't waste my time watching or arguing about it.
I believe if you don't like the way things are here, go back to where you came from and change your own country!
This is AUSTRALIA ....We like it the way it is and more so the way it was...so stop trying to change it to look like some other socialist country!
If you were born or legally migrated here and don't like it... you are free to move to any Socialist country that will have you. (And take Julie Gillard and her group with you.) I believe it is time to really clean house, starting with the Lodge, the seat of our biggest problems.
I want to know exactly, where the "Do Gooder's" get their money from, and why are they always part of the problem and not the solution?
Can I get an AMEN on that one?
I also think the cops have the right to pull you over if you're breaking the law, regardless of what race, color or creed you are, but not just because you happen to be an illegal alien and scream that they are "RACISTS PIGS".
And, no, I don't mind having my face shown on my driver's license. I think it's good....
I dislike those people standing in the intersections trying to sell me stuff or trying to guilt me into making 'donations' to their cause....Get a job and do your part to support yourself and your family!
I believe that it doesn't take all the intellectuals to raise a child, it
takes two parents....
I believe 'illegal' is illegal no matter what the lawyers think!
I believe the Australian flag should be the only ones allowed to be flown in Australia !
If this makes me a BAD Australian, then yes, I'm a BAD Australian. If you are a BAD Australian too, please forward this to everyone you know....
We want our country back!
My Country.....
I hope this offends all illegal aliens.
My great, great, great grandfather watched as his friends died in the Boer War. My grandfather watched and bled as his friends died in World Wars 1&2.
My grandfather watched as his friends & brothers died in the Depression of 32. My father watched as his friends died in Korea . I watched as my friends died in Vietnam , East Timor & Desert Storm. Our son's and daughters watched & bled as their friends died in Afghanistan and Iraq .
None of them died for the Afghanistan and Iraq Flag. Every Australian died for the Australian flag.
At a Victorian high school foreign students raised a Middle East flag on a school flag pole. Australian students took it down. Guess who was expelled...the students who took it down.
West Australian high school students were sent home, because they wore T-shirts with the Australian flag printed on them.
Enough is enough.
This message needs to be viewed by every Australian; and every Australian needs to stand up for Australia . We've bent over to appease the Aussie-haters long enough. I'm taking a stand.
I'm standing up because of the hundreds of thousands who died fighting in wars for this country, and for the Australian flag.
And shame on anyone who tries to make this a racist message.

Paramedics
Yesterday I had reason to call for the services of a paramedic. I won't go into details but he arrived within 2 minutes which has to be a record. I have in the past complained about waiting 7 hours for a team to arrive for my mother so I really should redress the balance.
I do know that they have a priority system so I was relieved to see him arrive. I have also criticised, at varying times, the attitude of some of the nursing staff particularly at two of Leicester's hospitals but I personally have never met a paramedic who has been anything less than amazing.
They all have that relaxed but proficient manner. They continually chat while performing a variety of tasks designed to ensure patient safety and will always explain if you need reassurance. I also know that they are stretched sometimes to breaking point but they never seem to rush.
I don't know what they are paid but to my mind it really is not enough. How they cope with some of the sights that they must encounter I do not know. I do however believe that when they attend the many young drunks who litter the streets particularly at festive periods then the drunks should be charged for the service that they don't deserve. Why don't politicians come up with common sense suggestions which would initiate income? In the army we used to call hangovers 'self inflicted wounds' and they should be accompanied by a hefty bill for services rendered by the paramedics.

I don't agree with Nick!
There is a famous television moment when prior to the last election Gordon Brown proved what a prat he was by continuing to trumpet the message 'I agree with Nick'! It was pure comedy because it became clear during the debate between the party leaders that he was totally out of his depth.
At that time Nick Clegg had an opportunity to seize the moment. At long last a LibDem leader had an opportunity to bat for Britain. To my utter horror the Conservative party under David Cameron failed to win that election and and had to forge a coalition with the LibDems. I will confess that I am neither a Tory or a LibDem because, as an ex professional soldier, I have batted for Britain all of my life. I am an unashamed nationalist but in these modern days I sometimes have to compromise.
I really do not know what separates Nick Clegg from Ed Miliband. They both prefer rule from Brussels to rule from Westmonster. In his recent stance against the EU David Cameron flushed out all the traitors. Top of the list was his 'ally' Nick Clegg who apparently agreed the stance by Cameron and then I believed he panicked when he realised that Cameron was going to do it. Then of course we had the guardians of the BBC and the 'BBC' of the Guardian ( please choose your adjectives according to how strongly you feel!!).
Now we hear that Clegg does not support tax relief for marriage and wants the House of Lords to be elected. Oh Nick please get a life! YOU are married. You must therefore agree with matrimony as a commitment! If you don't why did you marry the missus? Clearly the commitment of marriage supports a stable family life and in these days of so many feral children we must reward those prepared to commit to family life as we did in years gone by.
Then his posturing about the House of Lords! Bloody hell Nick can you not concentrate on what the electorate wants? Believe you me the public does not give a flying fig about the House of Lords. Down here on Planet Earth people are suffering, they want jobs and it is up to you to create them. You clearly are against the British public and they will make you pay in the end. I therefore have to concede that I don't agree with Nick!

Are we paying attention?
The economists, the credit raters and even the politicians are warning about a meltdown of the economy. In every bulletin they are warning that the euro is in meltdown and that major European countries have so overspent that they will default on their debts. This is serious because I also believe that Gordon Brown did such a job on us that we are also in serious trouble.
So far at least we retain our credit rating but France is on the point of losing their credit rating and personally I don't believe we are that far off from losing ours. What does it all mean? Well I fear that one day soon I will not be able to withdraw the money that my wife and I have saved over the years for our old age.
Today I read this article which perhaps confirms my fears. There are people who seriously believe that the position is so bad that we should begin to horde tins and water while we can! At the moment the people are not panicking but what happens when they do? We all know that the bankers and politicians have let us all down but what happens if the financial situation is actually apocalyptic!
What happens if they have collapsed the economy to the point where we have to barter? Of course it is unthinkable but they keep telling us that the situation is very serious. It appears that many people with money and influence are stocking up. I hate to say it but I think that I will join them while I can afford it!

Is this really Democracy in the 21st century?
Seema Malhotra may be a very nice young lady. She has just won the Feltham and Heston By Election so she is our latest MP and she represents the Labour Party. I cannot understand how over 12000 people could cast a vote for a party which, led by someone like Ed Miliband, spent 13 years trying to destroy this country.
I suspect that many who cast their vote for Ms Malhotra probably were not born in this country because for some unknown reason they do seem to favour the Labour party. That however is not my beef as it was bound to happen sooner or later.
My cause for concern is the low turnout. The Political Class has managed to alienate a vast swathe of the population to such an extent that far less than one third of the electorate bothered to vote. Of those that did vote about 50% voted for Ms Malhotra which means that at best 15% of the constituents cast a vote for her.
This is ridiculous! Are we really at the stage where an MP can be elected by 15% of the constituency? The major political parties have switched the public off. They monopolise elections because it costs so much to campaign for parliament. Only the big battalions can cover the ground necessary to influence opinion. The thinking public have realised that it matters not a jot where they cast their votes because we just get more of the same.
How low will the turnout have to get before someone says 'this is not democracy'? Do we need compulsory voting? Wherever the answer lies it is clear that this turnout is a national humiliation for the politicians.

How soon will the dollar and the euro collapse?
One of the really good things about retirement is that you have time to research and in particular time to wander around the Internet. It is truly the eighth wonder of the world. Yes it is also a dangerous and evil place and no child should be left alone to explore it but for me it has been a blessing.
I tend to follow threads and I picked one up today at Captain Ranty's pad and followed it onto Youtube. I then searched for videos by a guy who goes under the pseudonym 'stormcloudsgathering'. He has made a number of videos predicting a disastrous future unless we the public curb the power of the politicians and the bankers.
It was this one however which caught my eye. I have often posted about the centuries old antics of the Rothschild banking dynasty and how they make money. It would appear that they are still at it and unless they are stopped history will repeat itself. The orator explains what they do and how the collapse of the euro AND the dollar is inevitable!
If it happens then gold reserves should become very important and then I found this little beauty. I reiterate that Gordon Brown should be facing a court of law! How can any one man be allowed to squander such a vast sum of money without even an Inquiry? He should be made to explain how a man with his background could show such poor judgement. I personally have always believed that his actions were deliberate and he set out from day one to bring the economy to its knees. He really should be investigated.

You don't have to pay your BBC licence fee...!
There is a quiet revolution going on in this country. At the moment it seems to be confined to the blogosphere but it is gaining momentum. Much of it is built around Lawful Rebellion but it is clear that the powers that be have actually perpetrated a massive fraud on the public.
We, the public, trust the authorities to treat us properly and create a fair society but increasingly they are cheating us all. We, the British, who legend has it, won two world wars (with a little help from our friends) have become a complacent, compliant, uneducated, miserable bunch of non thinkers and cowards.
We cannot be bothered to challenge anything. We have accepted all the EU regulation and above all we accept the legal system which is flawed. I now direct you towards probably the most important post ever on this blog. Someone, somewhere who calls himself 'Ripper' responded to my request that he expands his allegations that we are being duped (please scroll down). Surely we cannot ignore an accusation that the payment of the BBC licence fee is actually a con...it is illegal...they have no right to impose it on us. They cannot enforce it so why do we pay it?
We pay it because we are scared...we believe that the detection vehicles actually tour the streets discovering who has not paid their licence fee. This is the BBC in action. It is not true. We have been conned, lied to and betrayed.
Folks, when the demand for your TV licence comes through the door then ignore it because you don't have to pay it. They cannot enforce it and ...they know it!

Friendships
Life is full of surprises! Today I had a lovely surprise because I rediscovered a friend who I deserved to lose. For a brief period (well brief in the years that I have lived) we could not have been closer in a work environment.
Three times we travelled to Germany with a mixed group of young people on exchange visits and we had a ball. I could not have achieved anything at that time without her support. I relied on her completely and she never let me down.
Ten years ago I survived a series of operations which included a spell in intensive care and we subsequently lost touch...my fault. I was married and she was 30 years younger than me so the friendship was suspected by everyone. They had no reason. I wonder how many other people have had a dear friendship frowned on by society and have lost touch because it is the easy way out?
Today we found each other again (she is now married) and gabbled for an hour. I am so happy! I hope that now she is married that people will accept that we just loved being with each other because it was bloody fun!

The Higgs Bozon?
Have any of us heard of the Higgs Bozon!!? The BBC are pushing this scientific discovery to the point of incredibility. They have wild, white bearded scientists speaking gobbledeegook to convince the public that there is something which is so important that one day public finances will have to be devoted to the project.
If the BBC is involved I do wonder if this is the successor to climate change. Time will tell! The whole show is so obviously contrived that once again I wonder who is running the show? I am sorry but I don't believe a word of it!

Are they scared?
The European Union leaders are reacting to David Cameron's veto. Today Jose Manuel Barrosso, former President of the EU, pitched in to condemn the UK. At the same time reports arrive that the credit rating of all 27 countries in the euro zone are under pressure. There are also reports that the Chinese have rejected attempts to prop up the euro!
It is unravelling! Only the Germans can save the euro and I would place a hefty bet that Angela Merkel cannot get the Germans to accept that. At long last the flawed policy of bunging African leaders huge sums of money to buy up the fashionable areas of Paris is coming home to roost.
Most of the quangos that we have in the UK are funded by our own money. The money, billions of it, goes into the melting pot and comes back out to fund people who will bow their heads to EU regulation. It is never accountable because the EU cannot pass an audit!
So what happens now? I think everyone agrees that the euro is dead but it just depends how long Mercozy will resist the death. Socialists always fail. Socialists crave for power but can never handle it. Every socialist exercise has failed because they have flawed principles. It is all about power and never about integrity. Most of us inherently inherit integrity which place us against the EU. They are getting scared!

The BBC and the EU so predictable it is funny!
The reaction to David Cameron's veto decision was so predictable it is becoming tedious. The Labour party, the LibDems, the BBC and newspapers like the Guardian and the Mirror immediately jumped on the bandwagon declaring apocalypse now, isolation, marginalisation and national disaster.
Ed Miliband and his front row threw the book at Cameron yesterday in parliament and as usual he just swatted them away. Nick Clegg couldn't even bring himself to turn up! His absence actually drew the fire off the PM for a while. It strikes me that Nick only wants to be part of a Coalition as long as he gets his own way.
Behind Miliband some of the more independently minded Labour MPs like, Kate Hoey, Frank Field and Austin Mitchell agreed that the veto was the right decision but as usual the most desperate attack comes from within the BBC. How this left wing propaganda machine can still command licence payer's money defeats me? I do wonder how some of their journalists can stomach the stance that they have to adopt? There was no attempt at impartiality, their tone was funereal to the point that it is becoming funny!
The Labour party has in fact been discredited forever following their spending spree with our taxes but the very people who brought the economy close to ruin are continually paraded in front of the cameras by the BBC. I cringe every time I see politicians like Prescott, Blair, Balls, Darling, Harman etc etc because their views and comments have no value. We are fed a diet of climate change, the EU and socialism. It is time to abandon the licence fee because they have lost the right to command it.

Wow! What a Day in Politics!
I cannot believe that David Cameron has actually stood up to Mercozy. I have often criticised him for not being a Conservative but now he has stood up and been counted maybe more of his own politicians will follow him.
What I don't understand is why we are still in the EU? It seems to me that we opt out of more than we opt into! I don't really think that we will ever think like the Europeans. I am sure that they only tolerate us because of our immense financial contribution which could better be spent at home.
The political commentators are blethering about us being on the periphery of Europe but surely that was always our position once we elected to cling onto the pound? Until we accept the euro we will always be on the outside looking in.
Anyway there is little point to it all now. When the leading German newspaper 'Der Spiegel' leads with 'Bye Bye Britain' then is it not time to pull the plug and watch from afar as the euro sinks into the mire!
Education!
Can our corrupt education system get any worse? There was a time when our children, with the exception of a small minority, left school with skills which could take them into employment generally at the age of 16. I was part of that system but some time in the nineteen sixties somebody got hold of the education programme and decided to change it. It was a bad move.
It was in 1971 that the British army decided that GCE's were no longer reliable as exemptions from the Army Certificate of Education (ACE) because someone realised that the exams had become so easy that they were dangerous and unacceptable.
So is it any surprise that we now have a situation where the examination boards are leaking exam questions to selected schools? Make no mistake this is a really venal criminal act. Education is the bedrock of any civilised country. Here we have bred a generation, no two or three generations many of whom had no proper education. The only kids who get educated today are those with decent parents who cooperate with the school and help with the homework.
Now we have examiners who think that it is acceptable to 'leak' answers or even 'leak' questions. If we don't put these people into the dock and punish them punitively then even the ineffective education system that we have allowed to develop will be unfair.
We have had almost two decades of exam improvement which frankly nobody believes. I have been posting about this for almost three years. Now we hear about this latest corruption... nobody will be surprised but will anyone get twenty years in prison for treason? That is the problem! Nobody is punishing the guilty because they hide in the background and quietly inflict their venomous instructions on the children. In this case I await charges and harsh punishment but somehow I doubt whether it will happen.

Can we dare to dream?
To those of us who passionately believe that the European Union is a ghastly rip off and our membership should be rescinded as soon as possible the last 24 hours have been encouraging. At long last some politicians are wakening up and challenging our PM about his beliefs and actions on the EU.
I have been posting for some months that David Cameron is not a Conservative and despite his oratory skills and pre-election promises he and his mate, Nick Clegg, have no intention of allowing the public a referendum on the EU no matter what changes Mercozy make to our position in Europe.
He routinely stands up in Westmonster and pretends that he is eurosceptic to placate a large number of his elected party but when it comes to action nothing happens. Yesterday at PM's Question Time at long last Ed Miliband landed a blow. He was assisted however, by many Tory MPs who were called, one after another, by a manipulative Speaker to demand action on the changing situation in the EU.
Today the Daily Mail has followed up big time and columnist Stephen Glover joined the attack. Where have they all been? We all know that Ed Miliband is just a political opportunist and he has supported the anti-referendum lobby for all his political life but what about the Tory eurosceptics? Most of them have kept shtum ever since the Coalition was formed.
The EU is a mess. The euro should be doomed. The scandalous red tape that the EU imposes on us is ridiculous and the Human Rights Act is notorious. Why should anyone want to retain membership of a flawed and undemocratic organisation?
In the end the only way out for David Cameron will be to consult the public. If he doesn't then the public should walk away from the polling booths because any future election will be futile.

The London Olympics
If this Olympic Games costs any more money I reckon that every Londoner will be skint. The original costs have spiralled by about £7 billion pounds and I just wonder what kind of idiot got his sums so ludicrously incorrect.
Now the news breaks that the PM has sanctioned extra money for the opening and closing ceremonies, a move which has even brought criticism from our queen of athletes Paula Radcliffe. These politicians squander so much public money that it is becoming almost provocative.
Everything about these Olympics has been mishandled from the start. The estimate, the stupid logo, the accommodation, the tickets and now it has been announced that security alone will cost 553 million pounds. That doesn't surprise me too much because our politicians will all come out of hiding and an awful lot of people want to get their hands on them! I'm surprised that they haven't had the main stand bullet proofed. Instead they have hired over 23000 security guards.
Not enough guys and gals not enough!

Genuine Racism is Allowed in this country!
A story appeared in the Daily Mail today which has highlighted the hypocrisy of British justice. A Somali Muslim girl gang from Leicester were given suspended sentences for attacking a white British girl and were found guilty of actual bodily harm which carries a maximum sentence of five years. During the attack one of them was heard to scream, "Kill the white slag" (or words to that effect)!
This ridiculous sentence is designed purely to fan the flames of racism in this country. This Judge...Robert Brown, should immediately be sacked because to claim that he would excuse the attackers because they were Muslims and not used to drink is ludicrous! It is a decision based purely on racism and should be appealed.
Nobody forced it down their throats! Nobody forced them to scream racist slogans! Nobody forced them to violence! If the boot was on the other foot then the white attackers would have had the book thrown at them. Judge Robert Brown has form on hard sentencing but then he has just proven that he is incompetent like so many others who represent the state in our legal system.
His sentencing policy is racist and he should be exposed for it! No wonder we have groups like the English Defence League when we have judges like this!

Lawful Rebellion
Many of us have often wondered how we can hit back at the rotten corrupt system that we allow to exist in this country. There is a way and it is called Lawful Rebellion. I closely follow a blog written by Captain Ranty and he is currently fighting the authorities over alleged unpaid speeding fines.
This dispute with the authorities has been going on for weeks and he has even had personal visits from the local plod. Yesterday he posted his response to the official notices that he has received. I bring this 'notice' to your attention because he is challenging the system on all our behalves.
I promise that you will laugh at his nerve but there are many more important issues which he has highlighted and which need the oxygen of publicity. If you have never heard of Lawful Rebellion he will open your eyes! I know most of us do not want to hear evil of the monarch but read what he has to say. I'm afraid the evidence cannot be disputed.
It has made me think because instead of 'marching, and protesting' what would happen if Brenda suddenly received 100,000 affidavits swearing their allegiance to the Barons Committee. Somewhere on his blog he has detailed what we need to do. I must find it! I cannot think of a more effective way of challenging the system. Tell your mates and spread the word because he deserves our support and we should all be fighting for our own democratic rights!

A New EU Treaty?
I am sure that I heard David Cameron reassure the public that if a new treaty was negotiated within the EU the British people would be granted a referendum. Of course he said that before the full extent of the Greek, Italian, Portuguese, Irish and Spanish debts became public.
I don't think that he ever envisaged a new treaty coming on the scene during the term of his premiership. I suspect that Nick Clegg, when he appeared on the Andrew Marr program, already knew what the Germans and French were up to when he began the excuses for not holding a referendum.
If this pair renege again on the promise of a referendum then we will all know what we already suspect...the politicians are scared witless of allowing the British public a vote on the EU! They recognise that the British inherently dislike being ruled by foreigners and that IS the bottom line. It was a traitorous decision and so unnecessary because Turkey have a trade agreement with the EU without being a member state.
Until we begin to protest in force I fear that this will always be the case. They won't budge until they feel threatened.

Nick Clegg
I suspect that if we had known prior to the last election that the Lib Dems would be power sharing then many of their votes would have been cast in other directions. Much of the electorate were totally disillusioned with NoLab, my term for New Labour because of their lack of socialist principles and older voters could also remember how relieved we were to see the end of John Major's Tories.
So the LibDems became the party of protest, 'the inbetweenies', who would never amount to very much. When the Cameron/Clegg Coalition was formed many of us were relieved to have got rid of Gordon Brown. Unfortunately the Coalition are not tackling the problems which the public want them to tackle. On the contrary they are not listening to the public, the bloggers, the letter writers and many of the hacks.
Nick Clegg appeared on the Andrew Marr Show this morning and quickly demonstrated what a slippery character he has become by weasel wording in every possible way why we wouldn't get a referendum on the EU even though they are talking about changing the constitution yet again.
Then later in the day they issued a party political broadcast featuring Brian Paddick which had the main theme that the Lib Dems would be listening to the public! Many of their leading politicians have already proven that they are not a very nice bunch (Huhne, Laws, Hughes etc) so I can only conclude that given a second chance they will not poll a fraction of their votes at the last election.
So that's the hat trick then! We can't trust the Tories, No Lab or the Lib Dems! I just wonder if the public might just turn to UKIP at the soon to be held by-election.

The Public Sector
I have an ongoing dialogue with a guy called 'Bewick' who lives in Northumberland and at one time worked in the public sector. For whatever reason he has honed into this blog and comments quite often. He is clearly well educated, literate and concerned.
When he 'comments' he guides me with the benefit of his considerable experience and he doesn't always agree with me. That is good and I respect his views. Recently however, he actually summed up the problems that we have in modern society. As ever the public are being conned by the Labour party. You remember the Labour party; born out of a desire to represent the working class and now the enemy of anything sensible.
Ed Miliband, an absolute loser on all aspects stood up in Westmonster yesterday and pretended to be the representative of the dinner ladies, the cleaners and the lower paid! He really has no idea how to relate to the lower paid because he probably has never, ever met any of them!
So what is missing? The problem with the pensions in the public sector is that, when 'Bewick' and I worked in the public sector then we had relatively modest salaries. Even the Chief Officers had a reasonable salary and their pensions were measured accordingly.
In the meantime the salaries of the public sector have gone through the roof! Now their greed has exceeded our income! The Union chiefs for example have accelerated the grasp for public money. They have awarded themselves huge salaries and nobody seems capable of moderating their avarice. The Town Hall fat cats are at the top of the pyramid but underneath them are countless public sector employees who expect and demand that we fund their gold plated pensions.
It really is not about 'dinner ladies' (can Miliband descend any lower?) it is all about affordability. We cannot afford pensions on the scale that the public sector have awarded themselves. The unions are conning the public. Their greed is coming home to roost. They had their day of action and frankly the only people who suffered were their own low paid single mothers.
Personally I only noticed an increase of traffic on the road and more people in Tesco's! Is it not time that that the Labour party and their sole sponsors, the trade unions, cared a little more for the pathetic, ignorant, uneducated individuals who continue to vote for them! Yeah Right!

Derby County
I have refrained from posting on my beloved Rams because I have been giving Nigel Clough every opportunity to emulate his father. Unfortunately the whole team is in disarray and some of his summer signings have proven to be disastrous. To be fair it is not all down to him because the owners, in this day and age of spectacular footballing purchases are well...the best word is parsimonious!
They refuse to spend money. Not only do they refuse to spend money but they ordered all of the high earners in the club to depart. So Nigel Clough was hired to ensure that the club paid for itself and to his credit he has ensured that the club pays for itself! The problem is that in this day and age it is a recipe for relegation. The club has to compete with clubs down the road like Leicester City who have Thai owners committed to premiership football regardless of the cost!
That however is not the real problem. The Rams began the season with four consecutive victories which saw them share top spot. I blogged at the time that I thought that Nigel had got lucky. He then had to build on his luck because last year we had a similar start which faltered and eventually we were close to relegation.
Once again he is failing because psychologically this team is weak. We almost always concede goals at vital moments and we never, ever score late goals which change matches. We were two nil up at Peterborough, allowed them back to 2-2 and then for some reason Nigel brought on a 16 year old right full back in the final minutes and of course Peterborough scored the winner. We have not won a point since that decision!
We are at Derby at last developing real talent at the academy. They are being promoted into the squad in desperation. No way should Mason Bennett (15 years of age) be exposed to championship football...so often!
Mason Bennett is keeping some of Nigel Clough's summer signings out of the team. Aberdeen went to a tribunal over the fee for Chris Maguire...is he so useless? Tommy Cywka has largely been ignored so who was at fault for signing him? Dean Leacock who, the last time I viewed him was a talented defender, is being ignored completely. He can play right back or centre back so why play Paul Green at right back when he is a talented Irish international midfielder?
Stephen Pearson was a Scottish international midfielder and yet he was also ignored and was recently transferred on loan to Bristol City. Bristol City have a talented new manager and immediately he grabbed Stephen Pearson and instantly the form of Bristol City improved. Pearson scored the first goal which turned their fortunes around. I suspect that both Leacock and Pearson were on high wages and therefore had to be distanced.
Derby County are on a downward spiral. No club can rely on kids to keep them in a division to which they do not belong. Yes one day Callum Ball, Mason Bennett, Will Hughes, Jeff Hendrick and Mark O'Brien will emerge but we need leadership today.
Players like Craig Bryson (ex Kilmarnock) or Ben Davies (ex Notts County), Chris Maguire (ex Aberdeen) were cheap but they are not good enough at this level. Similarly we have been lucky with Jon Brayford and James Bailey (both ex Crewe) but both are average championship players. We need a premiership player(s) who will propel us towards the future but they need paying.
Derby County are probably in the top dozen clubs in regard of their support. Other teams would love the revenue that Derby's board receives. I suspect that their ambition on the football field does not match the ambitions of the fans. The fans should vote with their feet. Last year they were conned by a glib chairman talking about marquee signings (one who is so crippled that he has yet to play for the club). Next year I suspect the fans will find another hobby. I bloody hope so because that is the only way that they will regain their club!!

National Debt is 1.47 trillion pounds!! All out brothers!
The Chancellor today fed everyone the bad news and now we know that the National Debt is collossal. This is the backdrop to the Public Service workers strike tomorrow where they will take to the streets waving their flags demonstrating to retain a pension that the nation cannot afford.
I can understand that they want to keep their wealth but the country is in the mess because their party, the Labour Party, ruined the economy of the country. It was 13 years of socialist mismanagement (which had to be deliberate) which has cost them their pensions so there is no point in continuing to be angry because they supported the very people who let them down.
Let them ask Gordon Brown where the money went! let them ask Gordon Brown why he signed us away to Europe! Let them ask why our soldiers are constantly assigned to wars that we cannot afford. We are skint and we have been fighting a pointless war for years now.
I have been listening to the politicians and their petty point scoring but nobody seems capable of addressing our real needs. They must have known that Bombardier in Derby desperately needed the railway contract that they awarded to Siemens. Our politicians, on all sides, should start backing Britain. All major government contracts should stay in the country.
We must tell the EU that we cannot keep subsidising their profligacy. All Foreign Aid, with the exception of emergency aid, should cease immediately. We must tighten up on immigration and that means seeking out 'illegals' who are milking the welfare system. We must also seriously review welfare payments and introduce a time limit on unemployment benefit. I would also limit child benefit to two children.
I have no idea what penalties the government placed on the banks but if they still owe the nation money then that money should be repaid before they pocket any further bonuses. The Tories should also implement their election promise to cap the salaries of the town Hall Fatcats.
If we could only see an effort being made to reduce the huge expenditure by the politicians then I think that many who will walk out tomorrow may think again. However it doesn't appear that any of those responsible can stop our taxes from being frittered away in a never ending tide of ineptitude. The public sector will march tomorrow knowing full well that what they want is unaffordable but what the hell when you are surrounded by greed it becomes contagious.

It gets worse...!!
Judge Esmond Faulks |
Of course none of us knows why the judge would postpone sentencing until the New Year, allowing this thug to spend Christmas at home, but the effect on the victim must have been devastating and this is my point! Does nobody in the Justice System think about the victim? Is it all about protecting the violent? My goodness she was paralysed and he continued to attack her!
The behaviour of this lout was so premeditated, so calculated and so callous that a life sentence should be the minimum. After all his victim has now got a life sentence and according to the report it could have been anyone unlucky enough to be passing by so why the delay?Apparently Judge Esmond Faulks adjourned the case to study pre-sentence reports! How long will that take?
It is not the first time that Judge Faulks has hit the headlines so perhaps he will this time do the decent thing. I will not hold my breath because most of them love the headline but consistently refuse to challenge the system which allows thugs to paralyse women and then spend Christmas at home!

How bad do things have to get?
On Thursday I posted my thoughts on the Criminal Justice System that poses as law and order in this country. I was particularly scathing on sentencing and prison conditions because it is my contention that criminals have NO fear of justice in this country. We tolerate the most horrendous crimes and watch helplessly as the perpetrators are given slaps on the wrist and then released very quickly to commit repeat offences against the public.
So when I read that a 79 year old lady has been murdered trying to defend a handbag containing her husbands ashes then I really have to ask the question...how bad will things have to get before someone in Westmonster admits that we must change the system? How bad must it get before someone stands up at PM's Question Time and demands justice for victims? How bad must it get before we convert our publically sponsored holiday camps into proper prisons with harsh conditions?
If we ever catch the person who mugged this old lady why can't he/she be publically flogged or even (better still) executed. When will we insist that the punishment fits the crime? Why do we tolerate uncivilised behaviour and insist that the public abide by civilised actions? It is time for a return to medieval punishment because it would herald a return to civilised behaviour!
There is a sizeable minority in our society who choose criminality above honesty. They choose that path because they have nothing to fear. Their is, at the moment, no deterrent which would persuade them that criminality is actually not worth it.
We are rapidly descending into the abyss. Crimes are bordering on the unfathomable. Very soon some of us will not be able to imagine the type of crime unfolding. It must stop! Somebody in government...anybody of any party...must realise that the system we use, the people who administer this system..must change their direction. We have to announce a dramatic attempt to introduce fear into the criminal fraternity.
I would suggest that the government commissions a mozzy ridden, uninhabited Scottish island close to the Outer Hebrides and convert it into a prison! Drop food in on a weekly basis! Let them fight for it! Some might die but I reckon nobody will want to go back. The very mention of a sentence on this island would very soon strike terror in the heart of every criminal. Sentences could be short (3 months should be enough), it would be very cheap to administer and should only be used for the nastiest of crimes.
You may dismiss this idea but then I challenge you to instigate anything else that will instantly stop crimes where old ladies are killed trying to defend their husbands ashes!

The Criminal Justice System
Is it not about time that our politicians re-examined the Criminal Justice System? Why has the justice in this country swayed towards the criminal rather than the victim?
Every time that we see a major crime, or a repetitious crime or any kind of violence the punishment never fits the crime. So where do we start?
Well we all know that the police have disappeared from the streets at least where the defence of the public is concerned. No matter what the politicians say we do not have bobbies on the beat and consequently we are vulnerable to local thugs and in many area this means gangs of kids.
So what happens in the unlikely event that one of these criminals is actually brought before the court? The victim is ignored. Then all the excuses are brought into play by defence lawyers who frankly are well versed in the 'game' of getting their thug (client) a soft sentence.
Then when they have committed so very many similar crimes and it is apparent that the public would no longer tolerate this individual on the streets a sentence is concocted. They are 'sentenced' to a period of detention by a judge who knows very well that the 'system' will NEVER allow that sentence to be served in full. Time after time criminals are allowed back into our society (no matter the crime) to enjoy a freedom they do not deserve. It is appalling.
So what happens when the habitual criminal, the so very bad person, actually commits crimes against society and is locked up? They face a life of luxury which most of us could never afford. Free meals, free medical care, free dental care, free gyms, free libraries, free access to degree courses, free accommodation and free... well I don't know... but even drugs are readily available in our prisons.
Our prisons are luxury salons for the very worst of our criminals!
So let me pose a question to our politicians...when will you introduce a system which will punish a CRIMINAL!? How can we the public continue to support a system which rewards crime and subjects our children and grandchildren to a life behind closed doors?
David Cameron why do you allow this in a so called democracy? Why do you appoint a europhile like Ken Clarke as a Justice Minister? Ed Miliband... why do you not lead this as a leading question at PM's Question Time? Are we, the public, not worth protecting?
Nick Clegg...oh never mind!
Until we redress the balance of the lack of criminal justice then we will never have a decent society. I don't know what drives our mainstream politicians to accept what blatantly is an injustice but they never seem to address the major problems that causes this injustice. They never address it! Why? Because it keeps us all in our place and the system is actually corrupt. In my opinion our courts are actually illegal...that is one of the very many reasons that they soft pedal on crime.
We the public accept everything because we are apathetic. We never get on the streets and demonstrate like the Greeks, Egyptians, Italians, Tunisians, Bahrenians, Syrians and we have a similar gripe. We should never need to take to the streets but increasingly our useless and corrupt justice system is letting us all down. They are politically driven and it is not enough.

Care for the Elderly?
This morning live on BBC television a care worker from Norfolk burst into tears at the complete madness of her care industry. It would appear that she was on the verge of insanity at her inability to change a system which is clearly rotten to the core.
At the centre of this mayhem are heartless Town Hall fatcats who are trying to cut costs (so that they can claim their bonuses) and reduce care for the elderly to a time management issue. The care worker in question had just revealed that she did not have sufficient time to care for her clientele unless she worked unpaid in her own time!
Clearly care for the elderly has become a local government cost issue and consequently the fatcats will be determined to cling onto their monstrous salaries, expenses and bonuses. In my opinion it is time that Westmonster layed down guidelines but then where do we start? Nobody with a hint of compassion can stipulate rules for care in the community. Only the care worker can judge each individual situation as it arises and if they are employed as a care worker then they should be trusted to deal with each individual problem.
Greed is the problem. I would suggest that whenever we discover an example of neglect then we immediately sack the appropriate manager. If they were under this type of threat then it might just encourage them to care slightly more for the people on their books!
This never happened in the days when town hall employees were paid a reasonable salary and everything else was spent on the public. Until we return to sanity and end the greed culture our elderly and everyone else will continue to be deprived of the services that we need.

Nigel Farage
Prior to the last election I encouraged people to use the election as a referendum on the European Union. I believed that this would be the only chance that we would ever have of bloodying the noses of the politicians. Of course it didn't happen...everyone trooped off to the polling booths and cue normality they voted Con/Lab/Lib so we got what we deserved.
In Brussels one man is batting for Britain! One British man is fronting up to the European disaster. Only one man has the courage to face the eurocrats and tell them the truth. He stood against the Speaker at the last election and mysteriously had to survive a plane crash!
I cannot tell you how high I place Nigel Farage on my list of great Britains. He has immense courage to (sorry) piss against a gale. His speech to the EU parliament is a masterly display of British intolerance. Watching Nigel Farage almost compares to the defence of the Dunkirk beaches. He is alone! He is just one man trying to defend us all.
So I now produce his speech to the European parliament which is fantastic. He should be our next Prime Minister because we all know that he bats for Britain and we cannot say that for so many of our useless/corrupt/greedy (oh hell pick your adjective) politicians.
I now give you Nigel Farage and you can see the reason WHY!http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ULns-cSUeVs

Where is our party?
I spoke to a friend this afternoon. She is really non political like most of the indigenous population but she is unhappy about the state of the country. She recognised that things should change but like most of us had no idea how it could happen.
Most of us feel helpless to change the system largely because 'The Political Class' have stitched up the electoral system. Every major party have the same values and they conduct an elaborate charade to protect their position. They all support the EU which most of the free thinkers know is dead in the water. It is only a matter of time before it comes crumbling down bringing most western economies with it. Everywhere the people are recognising that they have been 'had'.
So what happens then? Who do we trust? Who can challenge the 'professionals' with their vast revenue sources? Is there anyone in the country who has the leadership potential. the energy, the charisma to rise from ground zero?
The blogosphere has a vast resource. There are so many bloggers who are challenging TPTB but who is coordinating this effort? I believe that we need a coordinator, a leader, a beacon for the rest of us to follow. Surely someone out there can take up the challenge? There are some really major blogs with readership clout but do they want the responsibility?
They are being gassed in Cairo! Can we not show some British courage to match the Egyptians because if we don't we will always have our children cowering in their houses scared to play in the streets! Think about it!

UK Uncut
Back in March I penned a series of reports about UK Uncut, a group of people who believed in peaceful protest and specialised in disrupting activity at high profile locations. In a well publicised event back in March well over a hundred of them 'occupied' Fortnum and Masons.
Despite the assurances of a lady police inspector that, if they left peaceably, they would not face arrest they all walked out to be arrested by the TSG. It was later reported that the charges against 109 were later quietly dropped but the remainder were found guilty of 'aggravated trespass' last week. What hasn't been reported is that the judge just let them 'walk' and did not impose any penalty.
I often wondered if the actions of the police had intimidated this group because they were quiet in the summer months. What I missed when I was in Florida in October was a protest that took place on Westminster Bridge on 9th October so I include a clip which demonstrate that some people still care and know how to protest in a non violent way.
I may not agree with some of their left wing opinions but I like their willingness to get on the streets and irritate authority. I just hope that they retain their independence and do not get swallowed by union influence.

Spitting on the Public!
Baroness Uddin |
The press are carrying many stories at the moment which almost proves that the Political are continuing to 'spit on the public'.
One of the worst cases is the refusal to deal with Baroness Uddin. She is reported to have lifted £125,000 from the public purse for stating falsehoods about her property dealings. That is my polite way of stating that she really needs to be investigated before the politicians can declare that all the 'dirty deals' which were uncovered by the Daily Telegraph have been dealt with.
I admit that a few of the fall guys have been jailed for limited periods but many, many more escaped punishment and Baroness Uddin is one of the worst and most publicised cases. It is no coincidence that she was elevated to the peerage by Tony Blair. Almost every time that we hear of a sleazy episode somewhere in the background is the hand of Tony Blair. I can only hope that the capture yesterday of Saif Ghaddafi will eventually expose him for what he has been.
Chris Huhne MP |
Is it not about time that the CPS announced that he be charged or not as the case may be. In both cases it appears that individuals are being protected by a sleazy system because they are politicians. They needn't worry because, even if found guilty, it has become clear that if you have influence and money your sentence will be cut to almost nothing and then you will immediately rejoin the system from whence you came!

Our troops in Afghanistan!
Can anyone please tell me why our troops are still dying in Afghanistan? Why have we allowed ourselves to be tied up in a never ending war? We don't belong there... we never have belonged there... this is a war which can never be won!
It has nothing to do with our personal security. It has never been about our internal security because we are an island and if we wanted to maintain our security then Brodie Clarke would never have been appointed.
We have never won the war of hearts and minds because frankly we don't belong there. It is nothing to do with us and history confirms that Afghanistan is probably the worst country in the world to try and impose authority. Any invading force has always lost! Ask the Russians... ask our own Victorians! They don't take kindly to invaders. They are tribal and ferocious and dogged.
So if we want our sons to be picked off one by one then let's continue this wanton waste of humanity. Let this war linger without any conclusion. We will never win, we cannot win because the people don't want us and don't understand why we are there. Nobody can impose western values on a tribal society.
Bring the troops home!
