Police Betrayal!

If you have ever wondered how deep we have sunk then you must view this clip!  This is East Germany in action so for all you people who do not believe that the UK has plummeted to the depths of any third world country then here is the evidence!  

How can we trust our police when they protect such criminals in uniform? These people must know that they are immune to prosecution.  The people concerned must have known that he was being filmed but did not care.  He was filmed trumping up a charge against a member of the public knowingly lying through his teeth!

If you want this to continue then stop voting!  If you want this to be perpetuated then vote Con/Lab/Lib because you will be next.  It may not be you but it might be your family or your friends. Only one party can save this situation. Only one party will change the scenario of police bullying the public.  Please do not cease voting. Please vote against this deplorable situation. Please VOTE UKIP!



  

Not One Conviction!

On 07 April 2009 (yes that long ago) I reported on the death of Iain Tomlinson during the London G20 protests when he was struck down fiercely from behind as he ambled along with his hands in his pockets.  He subsequently died. It was all caught on camera by a visitor from New York so there was never a doubt that the policeman had at the very least contributed to his death.


Then rumours began to appear in the press and on the blogosphere that this particular policeman had 'form' and that this was not the first time that he had been violent. It was with some degree of disgust that I learned last week that he had been found not guilty of manslaughter.We all saw the video but he is 'not guilty'!


Today in the 'Mail on Sunday' leading columnist Suzanne Moore has highlighted this problem and it is much worse than I ever thought. She has uncovered 1433 deaths after contact with the police and not one conviction. I think that the next time someone dies after contact with the police we should all remember this statistic. 


We all know the other side of the coin where we praise police heroism but if this seamy side of policing is not addressed then it will be one more step towards a totalitarian state.  Police make mistakes and not all are like Simon Harwood who bashed Iain Tomlinson, but they must be made to take more care and follow procedures. 


The killing of Jean Charles de Menezes was a massive cock up caused by confused command but the people who just shot him in such a violent manner must bear some responsibility. As far as I can see nobody was held to account even though the whole operation was a farce and an innocent man lost his life. A well connected senior policewoman was apparently in charge and since then she has been promoted to Assistant Commissioner of the Met. The message is that the deaths of the public are not a concern. It must change.

The Leveson Inquiry

When this inquiry was announced I have to admit I was less than enthusiastic. We in the UK have seen this type of thing before and frankly they have a predictable habit of achieving very little. However, very suddenly things have started to warm up. It now appears clear that the extent of criminality between the press and the police was quite widespread.


The accusations are flying thick and fast but when someone of the standing of Sue Akers has to admit that there is evidence of police wrongdoing then we should all sit up and take notice. 


The parade of 'celebrities' that have taken the stand in this inquiry and the amounts that News International has paid out in 'compensation' illustrates that phone hacking appears to have been common place even though the people at the top deny all knowledge. I find it very difficult to believe that people who revel in power and control really did not know what was happening.


I think it would be foolish to deny that the police and the press should have some contact but the depth and extent of the contact between the police and the press in the UK seems to have exceeded all reasonable bounds. It would also appear that the press also penetrated many levels of public service. In many cases large sums appear to have changed hands.


I think that the public have become cynical with the conduct of the British police. There are far too many examples of poor behaviour by members of a force often lacking in empathy and common sense. The public are also wary about the conduct of the press who often harass people unmercifully when seeking a story.


I do wonder what will now happen now that the cat is out of the bag? Will anyone ever become accountable for this poor behaviour? Will we ever see court appearances? I'm afraid the current climate would indicate that once again the facts are in the public domain but nobody will have the political will to ensure that the guilty will be punished. The stench of corruption is almost becoming unbearable.

Surely Not?

Youtube is not always a nice place but it does give anyone access to events which the mainstream media fails to cover. The blogosphere also covers issues that remarkably the MSM misses for whatever reason.

I stumbled across this interview as I was trawling through various bits and pieces. There is also another clip of people witnessing a 16 year old girl being beaten by police but the language is hysterical and the evidence inconclusive.

Now some people are voicing the theory that these riots were started by the police. Earlier in the week they shot a young black man dead. In the atmosphere of mistrust that prevails in these government ghettos a group of people gathered outside a local police station demanding answers as to why this young man had been killed.

Police Officers left the station and paraded in front of the crowd. It was then that they apparently attacked the girl who had approached the police line. One can hear the anger in the second clip and of course the rest is history.

There are aspects of these riots that I find troublesome. The Met is the largest police force in Britain. For whatever reason they failed to get their act together for hours after the trouble began. Witnesses claim that they just stood and watched the looters for a lengthy period.  The police allege that their officers were not equipped or in some cases not trained to act. I just do not buy that. They are police officers. They have all been trained to stop crime. They chose not to and that means that someone in their ranks chose not to! I think questions should be asked of the most senior officers in the Met as to why their officers did not react and who ordered them to stand and watch. Of course the track record of the senior Met officers is particularly shameful  when action is demanded but this needs explaining.

It needs explaining because this evidence tends to reflect a chain of events which to put it mildly is not healthy. The ghetto population is particularly easy to inflame and a riot while all the politicians were on their hols was probably the most opportune moment.

A Police State?

Two cases have hit the headlines today which frankly I never thought I would witness in the UK. Firstly a member of the Territorial Support Group has been charged with manslaughter and secondly much closer to my home four members of the police have been charged following the suicide of Fiona Pilkington and her daughter.

This disregard of police responsibility which involves the vulnerable in our society is a serious problem. We are becoming a nation that accepts bullying. We are losing our moral compass and that is particularly prevalent in education where any teacher who confronts bad behaviour almost inevitably faces a disciplinary panel.

It is ominous because if discipline is allowed to break down in the classroom (and it has) then the children cannot learn. Life for teachers in the modern school must  be very
(hell) difficult because their hands are tied when it becomes to the discipline of the difficult kids.

In the modern world created by the EU and the Political Class (both the same) every value that we ever held dear is being destroyed. Our family friendly police force (epitomised by Dixon of Dock Green) has been wiped from the face of our land. Our society is under attack like never before and yet when you see the politicians on TV they appear so reasonable. They do not appear like traitors but if you follow the blogosphere then you begin to understand what is happening.

The British people are beginning to wake up. It has taken a long time but it is happening. Challenges are appearing in court because the Magna Carta has been replaced by an edict from the EU and that cannot happen in this country! It is called treason and if we can just persuade a few members of our traditional ruling class who talk posh to challenge the EU then battle will be joined.

Will we get any convictions?  That is another question.

UK Uncut

I suspect that shock has set in after the treatment that some of these people suffered at the hands of the thugs who arrested them.  However, credit due, they are looking after each other and sometimes a horrible experience bonds people together. I suspect that this movement will grow thanks to the heavy handed approach by the riot control police.

There are hints that many of the regular coppers had some sympathy with  people who were non threatening and protesting in a proper democratic manner. I suspect that they have radicalised forever a group of young people and that their actions will fan the flames of protest. After all once you have been criminalised that is it. Once you have been bullied, humiliated and frightened then it does not work a second time. What I find despicable is the treatment meted out to a 15 year old girl which left her close to suicide. That is frankly inexcusable.

I suspect that numbers will double or even treble the next time that UK Uncut take to the streets. There is no doubt that this was a political intervention. They picked on an easy target as usual but people learn and the next time the target may be just as easy but somewhat larger and probably more organised. I also suspect that there will be a few legal challenges flying around. If not then we may as well accept that East Germany has well and truly arrived in Britain...and you know what happened there!?

The British Police

I watched PM's Question Time today and raised my eyebrows when David Cameron said that we had a 'world class police force'! I just wondered how many members of the public would agree with him?

Before I proceed let me first say that when my son was killed last year in a tragic road traffic accident the police that we met were very good. The two policewomen who broke the news to us could not have kinder. In Scotland the two police (one male and one female) allotted to the case were professional and sensitive. We really appreciated their concern. My son's ex housemate is a policeman and he is always considered one of the family.

So what are my concerns with modern policing? I think that political correctness, Health and Safety regulations and the socialist diversity issues are making policing on the streets almost impossible. Their job, if done properly, is risky. They face danger and that danger cannot be dissipated by legislation. People are people and the police must try and enforce the law. That means they have to have every available back up. They cannot cherry pick their arrests, they cannot decide when and where they patrol and above all they must be even handed and fair.

So today I stumbled across The Ranting Penguin blog and he had addressed the problem. He has randomly collected press reports on the police to highlight their ineptitude. Some of the cases highlighted were ridiculous and this is my concern. Who is directing these loons? Why are they not being disciplined for lack of common sense?

I often visit the Ranting Penguin but if you don't like colourful language you will have to take my word for it. There are far too many cases of lack of judgement for comfort. Too many cases of cowardice, too many cases of bullying and too many cases of prejudice against the indigenous population.

Our police are far too often ....not a world class force!

Lawful Rebellion!

Every time that I visit YouTube I discover another video clip from someone else. YouTube is the real truth in this country. YouTube cannot be revoked because it is evidence. The people know the power of the camera and they are using it. One clip even caught me in the background at Hamilton Square, Birkenhead which at least proved to my wife that I was actually there.

It is difficult for us older people because we are ignored as a force. We believe and we want to be included but rebellion is largely for the young. For example I have a medical problem that insists that not long after I eat I must get rid of it! Three times I was downstairs in the toilet area of the Weatherspoons pub when frankly I was missing the action. It drives me mad but it is a fact of life, my internal pouch ten years ago saved my life!

So what next for Lawful Rebellion? Well I read that the case against 'Rusty' and another protester will be heard on Tuesday 03 May and witnesses are sought. Well hell there are so many committed witnesses to the action of the police that it is likely that the case could last forever! The police have been so corrupted that they just don't get the scene.

The bottom line is that the law has been corrupted. People like Roger Hayes of the British Constitution Group and Raymond St Clair who led the protest in and out of the court... and I personally witnessed him asking a protester to remove a balaclava style helmet...so I know his commitment...are the very people that we have been seeking to lead the popular rebellion.

It will grow! The MSM refuse to acknowledge this rebellion. They think that it won't happen. They believe that we are so cowed, so cowardly and so switched off that they are safe. I have always said that it would just take one brave man to lead the rebellion. Perhaps we have found not just one but a host of pissed off people.

I know nothing about the plans of the British Constitution Group but I suspect that on the day that the two protestors who were arrested appear in court they will be surrounded by witnesses and well wishers. I suspect that the police will be drafted in from everywhere. They have no response apart from violence. They know that they can trump up charges willy nilly and that the corrupt judges will support them.

The rebellion began in Birkenhead and now government will discover how the power of the people will prevail. They can flood the Birkenhead Court with cops but if thousands turn out to support the brave people who are fronting the rebellion they will have to get the message...We are not scared of you any more!


 

Democracy is dying!

Today in Oldham a meeting of the by-election candidates for the Oldham and Saddleworth constituency was arranged at a local venue. All the candidates took their places on the platform and it was then that some members of the quaintly termed 'Anti-Fascist League' objected to the presence of the BNP candidate.

The police astonishingly complied with their demand even though the BNP is a legitimate political party and their man was a genuine candidate. The candidate was forcibly ejected from the meeting by the police acting on behalf of the Labour party who of course support the 'Anti Fascist League.

I do hope that someone is disciplined for this breach of the law because it is a disgraceful act of prejudice. I realise that the BNP are not everyone's cup of tea. They have a nasty habit of exposing uncomfortable facts. They have for example for some time been telling anyone who would listen that Muslim gangs were targetting young, white, vulnerable, girls. Now even Jack Straw agrees with them even though he spent years as Home Secretary and Justice Secretary ignoring the problem while he survived in the Commons courtesy of the Muslim vote in Blackburn.

I ask you who is the more honest? The BNP have been warning of the Muslim threat for years now and they have been pilloried. They are currently the only party trying to represent the indigenous English since the Tory party moved into the overcrowded centre ground.

The police today were out of order. Until someone commits a crime they have no right to bully people for political reasons. They do not represent the socialists...yet!

Well done Wiltshire Police!

Hardly had I finished slagging off the Bonus Class when one of them has amazed me! Wiltshire police have sacked the bullying police Sergeant Mark Andrews even though a court found him not guilty on appeal.

I can rarely remember the Bonus Class doing the 'right' thing as can be witnessed by the Court of Appeal who exhonerated him after his shocking attack on a small woman in the police cells which was caught on CCTV. That was a typical example of the Bonus Class proving that they always look after their own.

So well done to someone down in Wiltshire! This is the type of decision that gives us back faith that good people do exist even though it is surprisingly rare in the modern UK.

How can he be found not guilty?

Do you remember the case of the Wiltshire custody Sergeant who lost his temper and bodily threw a woman into a cell after dragging her across the station floor? He was videoed on CCTV and the outcome was that her face was bashed in when she landed on the cell floor. My Gawd we could see the blood drippin onto the cell floor!

The whole episode shocked anyone who watched it because frankly it was abuse of power. Even his police chief condemned the act and openly stated that the sergeant would lose his job.

Well we forgot that this is Britain 2010 and even this guy could appeal and guess what...I know that you don't need me to tell you... he was cleared and can continue to bully the public. Disgust is too polite a word! What kind of judge could watch that video and then decide that the custody sergeant was not guilty of absolutely crass behaviour?

When will The Political Class realise that this kind of judgement offends any decent minded person? Will it ever end?

Police Brutality

There are increasing examples of police brutality appearing on the Internet. Of course the most public example was the assault on Ian Tomlinson which probably led to his death. The police are in a difficult position because they are in today's very violent society always at the forefront in the fight against crime.

They face on a daily basis the probabability of injury or worse as in the case of the policeman shot in the face by Raoul Moat but it is my contention that they must, even under severe provocation, act with restraint. Once police officers lose control public confidence is lost and if the police lose the respect of the public then everyone loses. In my military days we were always taught to think of the consequences before making a decision. The adage was always, 'What will you say at the Court Martial'.

The CPS appear to be very reluctant to prosecute serving police officers and I can see why but where the evidence is irrefutable then police officers should be asked to account for their actions. It is happening all too often today and something must change.

The officer who batoned and violently shoved Ian Tomlinson in the back had a history of violence. He was not under threat. His actions were not in keeping with his role of police officer. He should have faced a judge and the decision not to make him explain his actions has harmed public confidence in the police.

Official: Orange juice cartons are offensive weapons!

Last Thursday I commented on the trial of Sgt Delroy Smellie who was facing a charge of assault on a woman holding an orange juice carton during the G20 protests. The assault was filmed and left little to the imagination.

The person assaulted was obviously so convinced that he would be freed that she refused to attend the trial. Even so there is little doubt that the imposing Sgt Smellie had little to fear from someone of such slight stature and that he should have faced punishment for his cowardly attack.

Predictably and shamefully he has been cleared. This of course leaves the way clear for any police officer to assault any member of the publc and then claim provocation because if Smellie can get away with this then nobody is safe. I am minded to comment that the Smellie affair stinks but I wouldn't stoop so low!

Modern Policing

The current trial of Sgt Delroy Smellie sums up what a lot of us believe is the true state of the modern police force. In case you forgot he was filmed, all six foot four inches of him, bashing up a small female. Not only did he swipe her backhanded on the face with his gloved hand he then returned to thrash her legs with his baton.

It was probably one of the most cowardly attacks witnessed on film during the protests at that time. Well OK the one where Ian Tomlinson was thrown to the floor to subsequently die of a heart attack does bear comparison but since when did any one small female threaten someone of Delroy's size.

He is currently desperately spinning which is really only adding to his plight. She was threatening him (Ha!)! On the film she is clearly holding a mobile phone in one hand and a carton of orange juice. Some threat! He is claiming that she was one of a group advancing on them but the camera only shows one albeit, foulmouthed female, with her carton of orange juice! Some threat Delroy!

Years ago in the 1970's the troops in Northern Ireland did have to respond to threats from women. Some of those women from the estates of West Belfast really were scary but soldiers drew on their experience and humour whenever they could to diffuse situations. I well remember a Sergeant from a Highland Regiment (when we had them) responding to jibes from the women by performing a highland fling in the centre of the street. In the end they responded by rhythmically clapping him and the threat dissipated.

I do not know who trained Delroy to become a thug or why he thought that he could beat up people without any reason but he has been caught and should pay a high price. However, this is modern Britain with a modern Justice system led by Jacky Boy Straw so I reckon that an orange juice carton will be redesignated an offensive weapon. No wonder his victim has opted not to attend the proceedings. I will be amazed if Sgt Delroy Smellie is convicted because this is modern Britain and the Political Class will find a way to exhonerate his actions.

However, we know the truth and none of us believe that an orange juice carton is an offensive weapon. Roll on Election Day...which of course has yet to be announced! Will we yet get a matter of national emergency which could cancel the election? I don't trust any of these chancers. Have you noticed the sudden upsurge of Union activity? It is not a coincidence!

The mentally ill dog handler ...

I have rarely heard of a more shocking case than that of PC Mark Johnson who apparently left his two dogs to suffer immeasurably for seven hours because he became distracted by paperwork.

If PC Johnson was so 'stressed out' as he claims, what on earth was he doing in charge of two animals? What were his bosses thinking of allowing him to come to work in that condition? How come nobody saw these animals in seven hours? Nottinghamshire Constabulary have an awful reputation and have already been under investigation but this takes the cake.

This is a police dog handler who has spent the whole of his shift doing paper work instead of protecting the public with his two dogs. According to the medical report he wasn't fit for duty but to be in such s state so that you leave two animals for seven hours without food or water enclosed in a car in thirty degrees of heat...well that is so sick it is unimaginable.

No doubt he will be 'protected' and get some meaningless punishment but I know what I would like to do with the prat! He is definitely not fit for purpose...any purpose!!

Yet another case of Police cowardice!

On and on it goes. Video after video illustrates that the police are out of control and need to be reigned in. There was a case in Florida recently where a woman saw burglars invade her flat and she rang the police who caught the burglars! I knew immediately that this had not happened in the UK. Our police would not attend a burglary without a risk assessment.

We have had case after case where the police could have arrested offenders but refused the opportunity. And yet if you, the innocent, the law abiding, the family man scrapes into the radar of the police then you will be charged. You will also have to submit your DNA even before you are found guilty.

This is not right but who is protesting?

Killed by the Police?

The Guardian has a video shot by a man from New York showing the moment when a member of our riot squad at the G20 protests struck an innocent man from behind (who had his hands in his pockets)propelling him violently to the ground. It was a cowardly and despicable attack from which the man never recovered.

As I suggested yesterday no police video has been presented but there were so many people around that this time they have serious questions to answer. It is very easy to claim police brutality but when it is obvious it must be addressed.

It is further evidence that the role of the police in this country has changed since NoLab came to power and that they no longer protect the public they protect the state. Their role is now akin to that of the Volkspolizei in the former German Democratic Republic. Once the police have been subverted then democracy is dead.

The police have already lied with their version of the aftermath of this incident. How they deal with the follow up will speak volumes for the state of the country. I believe that corruption is now endemic in this country. I hope they prove me wrong but then I won't hold my breath.
