Who is Feeding the Media?

The disappearance of the Malaysian aircraft is developing into a 'Bermuda Triangle' incident.  The Malaysian authorities spent a week apparently searching the South China Sea for wreckage when they knew that the plane had changed direction!  That one fact should tell us that something is wrong.

They are now searching for wreckage in a remote area far off the coast of Australia.  This particular area is probably the most difficult area in the world to search. Nice One!

Apparently the wreckage which has been seen by some agency in the United States is regarded by the mainstream media as credible. Prior to that there has been a report that people in the Maldives witnessed an aircraft, with the markings of a Malaysian aircraft, had been seen passing over their island en route to a direction that leads possibly to Diego Garcia.

Now this report has been dismissed.  Normally something as sensational as this would be investigated.  Senior reporters would be 'parachuted' in with interpreters to interview those people who saw this plane. It has been dismissed as not relevant.  Immediately after the dismissal of this sighting we are fed this ridiculous sighting of some wreckage miles away from civilization.

Come on!  This aircraft was kidnapped because senior and knowledgeable electronic technicians were on board. I believe that they were taken to a secret location for interrogation.  I may be wrong and if I am I will willingly apologise but all the 'hate' in the world currently emanates from America.  They are winning the war on technology and they are using it!

We should be aware that we are on the verge of a World War III because the 'regime changers' are hell bent on a war like they were with Napoleon, Kaiser Bill, Hitler and recently Osama bin Laden!  

Hungary Cuts the Ties!

In a modern world where it often appears that the International Bankers hold all the cards news that a sovereign state is opting out of their clutches merits consideration.  The nation of Hungary has a proud tradition.  In 1956 they attempted a heroic rebellion against the tyranny of the Soviet Union and fought the Soviet tanks on the streets of Budapest.

Now apparently they have severed connection with the Rothschild banks!! They have said no more we want out!  Here is a short clip from the Captain Ranty blog which illustrates what they have done.

They are determined to be a government for their own people. They do not want international control of the Hungarian nation because they have paid off their debts and now want to go alone.  Good luck to them but you can bet your country that the Rothschilds will do something to bring them to heel!

Why can't we try that in this country? We cannot do it because almost all of our politicians are on the take from the EU.  Nationalist politicians like Nigel Farage are destroyed by a mainstream media controlled by a cartel of international bankers.
Everything is controlled by the hierarchy, the New World Order, the Vatican and royalty who apparently commit horrendous acts of depravity. 

It is high time that we broke our country free from political and so called royal control and became a republic serving the indigenous population but welcoming incomers who want to contribute to our society and not want to change or destroy it!  I would happily get rid of anyone who wants to dress contrary to the norm of our country.  If they don't want to respect our society then why stay here?

A Saviour of Democracy?

Once you get onto the trail of the bankers, the New World Order and the extremes of their behaviour then the world becomes a different place. OK I agree that I know nothing, that I have no input and that anything I have to say is pure conjecture. But what is that point of a blog if you cannot speculate? Looking back however my track record is not too bad. Did I not warn about Barack Obama? Did I not wonder the consequences if Gordon Brown got his sums wrong?


So today we have the situation in Syria. You will by now know that I believe that Syria is under attack from bankers who want to add to their world domination. Since 9/11 they have annexed Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya. There is also conflict in the Sudan which we rarely hear about but the next prize is Syria.


The western 'democracies' who are all under the influence of the international bankers are pushing for international intervention. They are pushing to invade a country purely on the grounds that their paymasters want to establish a Central Bank. In order to achieve that state they appear prepared to commit any atrocity imaginable. 


In this case however, someone is preventing the ultimate advance. Step forward Vladimir Putin, President of Russia. He is refusing to allow the corporatocracies permission to invade Syria. Steadfastly he refuses to support a United Nations Security Council proposal (or something) and at the moment he is being joined by the Chinese. Just perhaps they have realised that world domination by the western bankers is not such a good idea for Russia...or even China.


It would be ironic if western democracy could be saved by a Russian President who is portrayed by the western media largely as an ogre. Well that is the western media for you but then they are all owned by the 'bankers' and their own moguls.


Could it be that our western 'freedom' will be saved by a Russian President who will face up to the so called New World Order. Well perhaps but I am not holding my breath. Somehow money always seems to talk. For confirmation ask almost all the Westmonster front benches on both sides of the political spectrum. 


They all know the value of money even when it has been overprinted and manipulated to the point of a possible total breakdown. One day it will happen! In the meantime please watch the puppets demand an invasion of Syria. I won't name them but just watch the News.

Oh come on now Mr Cameron!

There comes a time in modern politics when the politicians want me to forget all the common sense that I have built up over the years. If you listen to this crowd of what Lord Sugar might describe as 'schmoosers' (spelling) then I sometimes just shake my head.  So let me reappraise the BSkyB situation using what we know are facts. First of all the LibDem Minister in charge of the BSkyB bid was Vince Cable who proved himself to be the silly old man by being stitched up by a couple of young, female,Tory journalists!


He was instantly replaced by Jeremy Hunt. It was a quick decision taken by a PM who has already demonstrated extensively links to the Murdoch Empire. First of all News International switched their support from New Labour to the Conservatives following the election of David Cameron to the leadership of the Conservative party. OK it did not take a genius to realise that politically Gordon Brown was a loser but David Cameron then owed the Murdoch Empire a huge favour.


They wanted their bid to succeed and of all the candidates it has subsequently transpired that Jeremy Hunt was an avid supporter of the Murdoch Empire. If you want a fair decision he was clearly almost the last person that should have been selected.


Perhaps David Cameron did not know how close Jeremy Hunt was to News International but that is somehow difficult to believe. David Cameron is almost a paid up member of News International! He employed their former phone hacking guru Andy Coulson as his Chief of Staff and is 'best friends' with Charlie Brooks who happily is married to the former editor of the News of the World ...Rebekah!


So...if the bid was in trouble thanks to good old Vince and his two glamorous journalists then did Dave not need a safe pair of hands to ensure that 'justice' was done? Step forward Jeremy who is so 'Murdoch' orientated that he is 'almost' on the payroll. That embarrassing E-Mail stating 'only Ofcom to go' should have instantly disqualified him from any subsequent involvement in the process. He was nakedly biased.


The PM is now in the altogether. His judgement has been stripped bare and he is relying on his charisma and oratory skills to win the day. Slowly this Coalition is unravelling but then every government since Margaret Thatcher has unravelled because they are all living a lie. All the politicians who are beholding to the corporatocracies (multi nationals like News International) currently fill every front bench position.


What the Leveson Enquiry has illustrated is that we cannot trust our front bench politicians. They are all too close to big business. They all have agendas which conflict with public opinion. There is a huge, rotten, cabal operating at the heart of our political process which needs to be reversed. The problem is that it is so huge, so all encompassing that it probably cannot be reversed. 


Once Syria falls and it now seems inevitable that Assad will go the same way as Saddam and Ghadafi then only North Korea and Cuba remain before the bankers have control of the world. I read that American special forces are already embedded in North Korea.  My concern about the Leveson Enquiry is that it will eventually be used to suppress the freedom of the press. I do blether on don't I?

The Leveson Enquiry

Slowly, almost ponderously, this Enquiry is uncovering the truth. The many and varied links that all our politicians had to News International. The squalid deference that all our leading politicians paid to the Murdoch Empire and now the cover up. The frantic attempts to deceive the public that they did not set up a bomb proof avenue for News International to gobble up BSkyB.

Anybody who has read my scribbles will not be surprised that I am delighted that the fan is whirring and the sticky stuff is randomly being distributed around the corridors of power. It is obvious to anyone vaguely interested that David Cameron has been closely linked to the Murdoch Empire and I believe it will do for him.

He is a smooth operator. Unfortunately if his personal credibility is destroyed and he is soon to face the beak at the Leveson Enquiry then what next for politics in this country? Will it seriously be back to the Miliband geek and the 'muttering idiot'? If so then get ready for utter devastation.

Having said that what has changed under this EU supporting Coalition government? They are borrowing more per annum than the Brown government did so that they can pay their dues to the EU. Immigration still flows unabated and accordingly the crime rate rises even though a criminal is allowed to commit up to 15 crimes before he is allocated a bed in one of our luxury prisons.

The people who have allowed this to happen are tainted at every level. They have already proven that they are corruptible so it is no surprise to discover that many of our leading politicians actively supported News International in their business enterprises. In their world money is 'God' and morals are regarded as weakness. Integrity has no place in modern British politics.

I don't think we have had one leading politician against 'modernisation' (changing the face of the nation) since Margaret Thatcher was deposed by her traiterous colleagues. It would now appear that she was almost the last of the conviction politicians prepared to put country first!

Someone is at last in a Dock!

We live in a rotten corrupt world. The more than I read and 
research the more that I fear for the future. For the past three decades the public have been manipulated and deceived.  At the highest level countries are being brought to their knees by financiers. Our whole lives have been changed and our society has changed completely all in the name of 'modernisation'.


We no longer trust our police and the police are in disarray because of the pressures heaped upon them. We know longer trust our nurses and they in return are in disarray because of the pressure heaped upon them. Teachers are unhappy in an environment out of their control and it goes on.


A huge society of 'graspers' has been created. People who grasp at every opportunity to rob the public, to earn more than they deserve and to grasp every opportunity to betray the public. They not only betray the public but they also betray their friends and families because they are living a lie.


They are following instructions to betray the public and they are everywhere. They occupy Town Halls (and how), they are union officials, they serve quangos but the vast majority are Civil Servants. I don't mean the lower order; I mean those that gleefully accept the vast bonuses (bribes) for just doing their jobs.


Today some of them were charged with 'perverting the course of justice'! They have been involved in a web of indecency which beggar's belief. Rebekah Wade, in my opinion, can almost be characterised as an arch witch! She was in charge of a mainstream media outlet which frankly could not get lower. Well they did because they hacked the private phones of celebrities (and even murdered kids) and then tried to deny it.


At last we have some of them in the dock on oath and hopefully facing a half decent prosecuting counsel. When Ms Brooks is facing a prison sentence then just perhaps she will release some of the secrets that she has kept for a rainy day. I think that there are a lot of politicians and police officers who might be quaking in their shoes tonight. Will she do time to protect the guilty?


I reckon that the only winner in this matter is ...Ross Kemp!

David Cameron now has a problem!

Now David Cameron has a problem. He must choose between the electorate and his masters. He must try and woo the Conservative backbenchers and yet he must try and woo the Conservative hard liners but he cannot do both because he has his orders from above...the very people who engineered his appointment.  You know the same people who champion modernisation, multiculturalism and almost every other 'ism' available to man.


Make no mistake David Cameron was tactically placed to be the Prime Minister of this country. He came from nowhere to lead the Conservative party because, until he deprived David Davis of his natural legacy, nobody had ever heard of him. What I will never understand is why David Davis accepted his defeat with such good grace and has left the right wing attack to Nadine Dorries.


I just wonder if she is just a fall person. Is she is being put up to distract the public from what is really happening? Maybe I am being optimistic because as I approach 70 I really hope that I will see common sense in government before I pop my clogs. 


The European Union is a dead duck. They transferred Moscow to Brussels and so many mainstream politicians fell into line because they were paid to do so. Even the Queen (sorry you royalists) fell into line and reneged on her coronation oaths. If she had said 'No' then it would never had happened. She could have stopped the EU with one word but regrettably chose not to!


The Tory party is in disarray. The grass roots are right wing and nationalistic because they are, like Nadine Dorries, true conservatives. The leadership are not Tories because they are actually closet socialists paid for by the EU (and the Rothchilds/Astors) so where do we go from here? 


The eurosceptic Tories should realise that they are now in the wrong party. Well no that is wrong ... their leadership is now in the wrong party so grass roots Tories should work on replacing the leadership. Nadine Dorries has stuck her head above the parapet but the leadership ignore her, in fact they treat her with contempt.


I hear that young conservatives are defecting in droves. The rank and file should be very careful because if they do not get a grip they will lose their seats. The LibDems have been destroyed by Nick Clegg. They will never recover. The Tories could win a landslide majority if they ditched their leadership. The charade today was desperate. Two posh boys clinging onto power but not knowing what to do with it.


We need conviction politicians. They are there but they need to be heard. They will not be heard whilst the BBC hire Labour leaning employees. It is a scandal! For any public service to be so partisan is unbelievable. We have a Conservative led government that tolerates this socialist bias. It really beggars belief. It cannot continue.


We have recently heard much about politicians who have got too close to News International but how about an inquiry into those who are too close to the Rothschilds/ Astors? Or should we not have an inquiry into those close to both the Rothschilds/Astors and News International? Ah that would be interesting...wouldn't it Mr Cameron?

The Leveson Inquiry (continued)

I did suggest in my last post that if you inconvenience the Murdochs then you may pay the penalty. So after almost a full day when James Murdoch appeared to lose his memory at a remarkably young age we are left with a Culture Secretary being encouraged to resign by a the leadership of a politically opportunistic Labour Party. Did we ever expect anything else? One thing about modern politics and the Labour party is that, after 13 years of disaster, they grab every opportunity to attack the opposition.


Don't ever however, ask them to put forward a concrete proposal which would benefit the electorate. Yesterday Ed Miliband was given such an opportunity on SKY news and replied that he would wait for the next election before presenting any sort of manifesto. Clearly he has no beliefs, no passion and no conviction. The name of the game is power.


But back to the Leveson Inquiry...who is Jeremy Hunt? When Vince Cable was sacked (for showing off to two young, attractive female journalists) from his quasi-judicial position of deciding on a billion pound media deal involving the Murdochs he was replaced by one Jeremy Hunt. I had never heard of him so I wondered why he had been selected for this controversial position.


Now it has become evident that he already had a slant on the deal. The Murdochs have released a stream of EMails which appear to suggest that Mr Hunt was on 'their' side. Why they have done it is still a mystery to me.  So who appointed Mr Hunt? Now that is the conundrum because the PM appointed him and has he not got form where News International is concerned? This is beginning to smell and the smell is drifting ever closer to Downing Street. At some point somebody might just start to join up the lines and link Brooks, Coulson, Murdoch, Cameron, Hunt, Blair, Brown etc etc!


Labour cannot deny their links with the Murdochs. We are beginning to see the cracks in the web of corruption. There is of course one person who has presided at the heart of these years of political decadence who never gets drawn into the spotlight. The Head of the Civil Service, Gus O'Donnell, always stays out of the limelight and yet he spins the web. I wonder when someone will call him before the Leveson Inquiry?

The Leveson Enquiry

On Wednesday I intend to watch SKY News when Rupert Murdoch and son James attend the Leveson Inquiry. The recent revelations from other sources means that they will be unable to get away with their normal 'bullshit'. They know that they have been rumbled so will they now attack? Will they begin to threaten? News International must have so much 'dirt' on so many people but will they expose, or threaten to expose, leading public figures?


There has been so much hypocrisy, mendacity and duplicity in modern politics that it is becoming difficult to recognise honesty. All the mainstream politicians lack sincerity, belief and passion. They do not communicate their beliefs because most of them don't have any. There only belief is power. It does not matter how it is achieved because it is the only goal.


This has led to the Leveson Inquiry. We have seen them all paraded forward. Many of them have been economical with the truth but piece by piece the truth is slithering into the public zone. Phone hacking was not the practice of the odd journalist, editors were aware of this method of obtaining information and senior police officers were regularly entertained by News International.


So my starter for 10 Mr Murdoch is ....who could you not buy?

Links to New International

The story that surrounds employees of News International and the links between them and leading politicians and police is building. Ignorant members of the public like me have no way of telling where it is all leading but clearly someone in the Met is driving it on which means that they smell corruption.


Nowhere are the links more closely examined than a chart designed by the BBC website which has brought all the leading players together  and displayed the type of association. I do have to admit that the inclusion of Tony Blair, Gordon Brown and David Cameron is an interesting distraction.


Many people believe that democracy is largely dead in the water and that the world is ruled by the multi national corporations. If this theory has legs then the link between some of our leading politicians and a corporation as large as News International would be a natural progression. 


When a person as close to power as Rebekah Brooks is arrested for a second time and charges as serious as 'perverting the course of justice' are being bandied around then someone, somewhere is onto something. It would only take one honest, incorruptible policeman or policewoman with the courage and commitment to keep digging before a whole can of juicy worms could be uncovered. Remember Elliot Ness?

Horsegate!

Someone, somewhere is not advising David Cameron very well. I see that he has just lost his chief advisor, a guy called Steve Hilton, who has just deserted the 'sinking ship' for a position in sunnier California. The mainstream media speculate that he had a series of clashes with europhile Civil Servants which led to his departure.

The Leveson Inquiry is uncovering some murky relationships which are becoming embarrassing to the press, the police and the politicians. Least amongst these revelations was the fact that the police allowed Rebekah Brooks to borrow a pretty clapped out horse for her recreation. Why this happened and who sanctioned has not been made public. Do I care?  Not a jot!

Well at least I didn't care until the PM got involved. What is wrong with David Cameron having a social gallop with Charlie Brooks husband of former News of the World editor Rebekah Brooks? He is entitled to a social life.

What I find intriguing is how long it took for him to admit that he actually sat on the horse. Apparently his former aide, Andy Coulson, who of course famously worked at the News of the World, actually denied that it had happened. Why? What were they trying to cover up? The truth has had to be forced out of Downing Street. It is stupid!

The PM has always been a smooth operator but suddenly he is being exposed and he is appearing less than kosher. I have for some time speculated that he operates under a false premise. He is much closer to the EU and the Lib Dems than he wants us to believe. He was also far closer to News International than he wants us to believe. The cracks are beginning to appear.

The Leveson Inquiry

When this inquiry was announced I have to admit I was less than enthusiastic. We in the UK have seen this type of thing before and frankly they have a predictable habit of achieving very little. However, very suddenly things have started to warm up. It now appears clear that the extent of criminality between the press and the police was quite widespread.


The accusations are flying thick and fast but when someone of the standing of Sue Akers has to admit that there is evidence of police wrongdoing then we should all sit up and take notice. 


The parade of 'celebrities' that have taken the stand in this inquiry and the amounts that News International has paid out in 'compensation' illustrates that phone hacking appears to have been common place even though the people at the top deny all knowledge. I find it very difficult to believe that people who revel in power and control really did not know what was happening.


I think it would be foolish to deny that the police and the press should have some contact but the depth and extent of the contact between the police and the press in the UK seems to have exceeded all reasonable bounds. It would also appear that the press also penetrated many levels of public service. In many cases large sums appear to have changed hands.


I think that the public have become cynical with the conduct of the British police. There are far too many examples of poor behaviour by members of a force often lacking in empathy and common sense. The public are also wary about the conduct of the press who often harass people unmercifully when seeking a story.


I do wonder what will now happen now that the cat is out of the bag? Will anyone ever become accountable for this poor behaviour? Will we ever see court appearances? I'm afraid the current climate would indicate that once again the facts are in the public domain but nobody will have the political will to ensure that the guilty will be punished. The stench of corruption is almost becoming unbearable.

Endemic Corruption!

Many of we bloggers began our protest blogs because we recognised that honesty in our UK society had been overtaken by endemic corruption. This can be linked to the rise of the European Union. I would go further because I would suggest that the corruption which is exposed daily is almost unstoppable.


Today the family of singer Charlotte Church received compensation of £600,000 from News International and this is ongoing! On Sunday, News International, launched their new paper the 'Sun on Sunday' which was a just a mirror image of the 'News of the World'. News International is such a powerful influence that they can 'bribe' all their 'victims' with 'compensation' but it does not conceal that they have been engaged in criminal activity.


Today at the Leveson enquiry in London Asst Commissioner Sue Akers of the Metropolitan Police exposed the link between the press and the police but she also exposed another sinister link between the police and public servants which up until now has not been revealed.


If Sue Akers is an 'honest copper' then I worry for her health. If she is chasing corruption in the police then she will face a huge malign opposition. To tell you the truth I am amazed that an 'honest copper' has been allowed to travel that far up the ladder. The influence of 'Common Purpose' is particularly prevalent in the police.


The proprietors of News International appear to have allowed their employees to commit breaches of the law. The fact that they are willy nilly paying off the victims of their illegal activity is evidence of their profligacy. What we need is for someone to refuse the money and demand a prosecution...so what about John Prescott? He was wronged! He is a socialist! He will bat for the people. Good old John will never accept blood money from the capitalists when he has them on toast? Yeah right! (He is currently on Newsnight! Blah blah!)


It is quite clear that criminality has taken place. Someone senior at News International has apparently sanctioned that criminality. It now appears that the heart of our democratic system is at risk. We bloggers know that to be true. We all know that corruption is endemic in our so called democratic society but the guilty cannot be brought to court.


Look at Tony Blair! He took us to war on a false premise. His kitchen cabinet apparently cooked up the case for a war in Iraq. Since then he has been brought before enquiry after enquiry and according to the press he just bats them away but we all know what actually happened. Until we insist that a member of the New World Order appears in court and faces charges then it will continue... but then apparently even our court system is illegal and only applies to the vulnerable.  


Charlotte you should not have accepted the money you should have taken them to court! Until someone has the guts to face down these corporate empires and get one of them jailed then we are all at risk. 

When thieves fall out! It is quite clear that the police are hot on the trail of the journalists who used to work for News International and were allegedly involved in criminal activity in order to keep that organisation ahead of the competition.

However when one is protecting a job, when you are seeking to get an edge which your company will approve of, then you will push the boundaries back. The real people who should be in the dock are the proprietors of the company who have twice appeared before a parliamentary committee and now it seems that they lied! 

The problem is that they have, with the consent of the government, dumbed down the culture of the British people. They have entertained the people through scandal and inuendo and  are therefore at the beck and call of the European Union and the Political Class.

The popular press are what I call the mainstream media. They have an agenda because they are controlled by the New World Order which includes the EU. News International (the News of the World, the Times, the Sun) have huge influence and have maximised that influence by allegedly hacking into the voice mail messages of certain celebrities.

We all know the guilty parties. We all know that the Murdochs and their associates have apparently lied to a parliamentary committee live on television. It appears that they have corrupted our democracy and there are stories that the former editor of the News of the World, Rebekah Brooks and the Cameron family, are friends and party together. There is a rottenness at the heart of our government which I cannot fathom.

 I envy the people of Scotland for having a politician (Alex Salmond) who appears to put the people first. He may be grandstanding but it clearly works. I cannot think of one person in Westmonster who puts the people above party loyalty even when the party has totally disregarded their traditional manifesto.

I tell you what... we ain't seen nothing yet!

News International... the Truth?

We sat through the pathetic attempts of the House of Commons committee to extract the truth from the Murdoch family and yet today they are paying out to almost anyone who claims wrongdoing. It is ridiculous because the billions that the Murdoch Empire has made out of phone hacking or at least irresponsible behaviour means that the payouts are peanuts.


So far it would appear that none of the 'wronged' celebrities have refused the payments so it would appear that they are being bought off. When will we get the truth? When will the mainstream media actually front up to their behaviour? 


I am still ploughing through my book 'Hoodwinked' written by a self confessed 'Economic Hit Man' and it is illuminating. He calls companies like News International 'corporatocracies' because they are so large and so powerful that they transcend national boundaries. 


Economics is quite a difficult subject so I am struggling with Milton Friedmann and Keynesian principles but I will get there because I almost had to study law when my son was doing his degree and was asking for my advice! So far I do wonder how the author John Perkins has survived because he is seriously giving the game away.


News International is huge and they must have a game plan. They are one of probably only six media magnates in the world. A few grand here and there is nothing to them. Their license to dominate the media is all important so that the closure of the News of the World was merely a flea bite. At present News International is just clearing up an unfortunate little hiccup in the UK! There are no rules to contain them so everyone might just as well grab the cash (notice that the indignant Prescott has grabbed the money with no questions asked!).

I am watching ITV news at the moment and they are stating that a former News International chauffeur has evidence of payments to police officers by News International! Already their former employee Clive Goodman has blown their evidence to the House of Commons Select Committee apart.


I believe that this rotten empire, founded on sleaze and sex, is about to collapse. It will collapse because eventually all rotten enterprises collapse. The big question is who will be brought down with it? How far will the tentacles of any News International enquiry reach? Now that the genie is out of the lamp who will be brought down? David Cameron is the prime candidate because for whatever reason he employed Andy Coulson and nobody knows why.


The primary attack dog for the socialists is Tom Watson. I believe that he is a Gordon Brown (aaagh) supporter and as we all know News International recognised the incompetence of that man and deserted him. Gordon Brown is venomous when angry as we saw in Westmonster recently. Somehow he commands support from very powerful quarters. I wonder just what friends Gordon Brown has cultivated in his socialist years in power.


Of course of all this means that James Murdoch, his dad Rupert, Rebekah Brooks et al have all been lying to the Westmonster committee. Are we really surprised? One thing is certain and that this story will run and run! Oh Goody!

They were swatted away like flies!

Once again our MPs let us down. I watched much of the Murdoch inquiry yesterday and I wasn't disappointed because I expected nothing and that is what we got. The questions were swatted away like flies from two people who in my opinion had been superbly primed.

One comment from Rupert Murdoch was never pursued because he said that he had been let down by people who he had trusted. Well the first person who had let him down had to be his son James. James Murdoch was the local commander of the family firm because his dad was claiming to be above the routine decision making process.

So given that James had not let him down then who was the next person in the management chain? Well surely that has to be Rebekah Brooks? I missed most of her interview because of bowling commitments but early on she began in very much the same vein.  She knew nothing! She was the captain on the bridge but knew nothing of the pay offs, the phone hacking, the blagging and actually any of the scullduggery associated with former members of the News of the World staff.

The questions continued in a rather benign manner. Everyone was very polite and gosh wasn't it
awfully nice? The Murdochs manipulated and manoevered that committee to such an extent that it was embarrassing. These people are so smooth and prepared that everyone else appears amateurish. They ruled that room from the minute that they sat down.

The bottom line is that IF Rupert Murdoch believes that he was let down by people he trusted then that question should have been pursued so that by the time Rebekah Brooks sat down her backside should have been scalded by the hot seat bequeathed to her.  It was such a waste of time!

Will this reach the PM?

I never thought that I would be posting this but I am beginning to believe that the current police/media scandal could bring down the PM.

There is little doubt that like Tony Blair and Gordon Brown before him he does have strong links to the Murdoch Empire and Rebekah Brooks in particular. His appointment of Andy Coulson (apparently at the behest of Mrs Brooks) was an awful mistake which will now come back to haunt him.

Also niggling at the back of my mind is his visit to the yacht of Nat Rothschild. I know that he may have been acquainted with Nat Rothschild in his early university years but as PM or even a leader of a political party, that is a link which should remain distant.

There is an old saying that 'there is no honour amongst thieves'. If the Murdochs father and son are about to lose their stranglehold on 'The Political Class' I would bet that they could dosh an awful lot of dirt. If they decided on oath to tell the truth I think that there will be a lot of backsides squeaking.

If Rebekah Brooks is facing criminal charges she could probably bring a lot of people down with her. She told her colleagues at the New of the World that in a year they would realise why the paper had to close! A Year!? Is this the year that the whole pack of cards comes tumbling down? Is this the year that all the sleaze which has surrounded the Political Class ever since the inception of the European Union bubbles to the surface?

Ah well tomorrow is another day but if we can lose Sir Paul Stephenson and Yates of the Yard in two days what price a Prime Minister?

Who can we trust?

Tonight at my local club a rare event occurred. People began to discuss politics and in particular the News International crisis. Many of them know that I write a blog and they also know that I comment on controversial subjects. Some of them actually read my scribblings but in general they prefer to adhere to the old adage that one never discusses politics or religion in the pub.

Of course this is actually what the Political Class would prefer...they would far rather that we dumbed down our opinions because they can then just get on with their shenanigans. One aspect however did prevail and that was the general mistrust of our politicians.

Politicians today are held in contempt and the name of our local politician, Nicky Morgan, cropped up and local people are aware of how little she represents the constituency! She is first in line when it comes to David Cameron loyalists and she recently was one of 257 politicains who voted for an increase to our EU subscriptions. I ask you who would want to increase public subscriptions to an unaudited, unelected organisation unless their thinking was askew?

Nicky Morgan appears to be just a political animal hell bent on ensuring her future by sucking on the teet of Westmonster. The people of Loughborough are beginning to realise that their hatred of NoLab and Gordon Brown which reflected badly on Andy Reed, was possibly not a great move. But then who can we trust? When all our mainstream politicians, our mainstream media, even our policemen are suspected of elements of corruption then who can we trust?

I keep reiterating that you cannot trust any politician who supports the European Union! The EU is a cancer at the heart of our society ( a bit like climate change) and until we rid ourselves of this catastrophic blight on our country we will never again be a democratic/respected/honest civilisation.

Keystone Cops!

Andy Hayman

I am afraid I have been left incredulous by the behaviour of the former Assistant Commissioners of the Met during their appearances before the Home Office Select Committee. Their attitude and moral standards at times beggars belief!

Their apologies rang very hollow and in the case of Andy Hayman he seemed  very flip with his answers. He seemed to think there was nothing wrong to accept hospitality from the very company that he was investigating and from which he later accepted employment .

How can he possibly imagine that people would regard this behaviour as acceptable? At times laughter rang round the room as he protested his innocence. Sky News has done a great job exposing the Keystone Cops who frankly have lost all credibility. I got the impression that these top police brass went out of their way to sweep the hacking scandal under their plush carpets. They seemed frightened to confront News International and one wonders why?

I think that in a quirky way Rebekah Brooks and her dodgy cohorts may have done us all a favour. They have exposed what happens when the wrong people are pushed to the top of the heap by organisations like Common Purpose. I will know that the government have grasped the problem when they investigate the power of Common Purpose. This is the real problem and the rest is frankly window dressing.
