Oliver and Chloe

Adam Ramsay

Adam Ramsay - President of Edinburgh University Students Association
I have used the young man above as an example of all the Olivers and Chloes who regularly turn up at every political march and ruin the good intentions of the working class marchers who genuinely are in fear for their jobs.

Oliver and Chloe are the pseudonyms I have invented to represent all the rich kids who regularly descend on London in order to commit as much damage as they possibly can safe in the knowledge their parents will pick up the bill. Adam Ramsay has been featured by Old Holborn and I choose him as a really good example of the type of young person who typifies 'Oliver'.

They have a privileged lifestyle that is so cushioned from the reality known by most families that he can choose virtually whatever career path he wishes. So Oliver has chosen to disrupt lives, attack the police and smash up property. He will protest (as will Chloe) about student 'cuts' even though daddy could probably buy the bloody university, police brutality whilst pelting them with fire extinguishers, paint, acid and assorted roadside implements, and to safeguard something called the NHS, even though they will never go near it! The list is endless but then it is all a wizard prank to relieve the monotony of their bizarre lives.

They squeal, shout and swear knowing full well that daddy's money will shield them from the full consequence of their behaviour. That is why Adam Ramsay and his pals invaded Fortnum and Mason on Saturday with the intention of doing as much damage as possible. They don't respect or recognise authority. They don't care about the other marchers desperately worried about their future. They just want something to brag about in the pub. Nothing matters and nothing has consequences so anything goes!

Why is it that most of the elite socialists come from this privileged background? It is because they are never made to face the reality of the damage caused by their selfish arrogance. I would jail all of them because then even daddy's lawyer can't wash a term of 'porridge' off the jolly old CV!

Bahrein...and elsewhere!

The focus of the MSM has transferred to Bahrein. Bahrein has imported troops from Saudi to quell the ambitions of their people. That is a determined response to the people's rebellion and illustrates how far the Bahrein leaders will go to retain power. Once again I believe that their people have little or no chance of winning this battle. These high flying Arab families have far too much to lose to allow a ragtag people's army to storm their strongholds.

I admire their fortitude but at the moment it is hopeless. Their only hope will be the support of the Muslim fundamentalists who seem to succeed everywhere and really...who wants that? Well I suppose some Muslims do but we are all aware of the Muslim threat to western democracy.

So what is their position compared to the demonstrators at Birkenhead? Can the black brolly demonstrators hope to achieve anything other than eventual arrest? The Political Elite have all the advantages and they have already corrupted the law to such an extent that the Common Law laid down by the Magna Carta appears to have little relevance.

I really admire the efforts of Roger Hayes and Ray St Clair but they face huge odds! Unless they manage to mobilise a really potent force....and I mean huge they will be swallowed up and I don't discount a fate similar to the fate of Dr David Kelly. I don't blog that lightly. These socialists have a lot to lose. People who oppose them tend to die. Roger and Ray are, at the moment, a minor irritation, but if the next demonstration really kicks off and the establishment really becomes threatened then it WILL become nasty.

My sentiments are with the people following Lawful Rebellion. I love their spirit and their cause but the purpose of this post is to advocate caution. Steady guys, we must build slowly. When the rebellion comes and it will come, we must be sure that we have the momentum to win.

Perhaps one day, on a given signal, milllions of people will descend on London waving black brollies (hiding machine guns) but don't do it before you are really ready for the fight because you had better mean it!

The popular revolt continues!

Can anyone actually believe the arrogance of Mubarak the Egyptian leader (well yes I can because we have the same clowns in Westmonster) when he has hundreds of thousands of his people demanding his immediate removal and he offers to remain until the next election!!

The people are being hugely restrained but I just wonder what it would take for them to break ranks and throw him in the Nile! He has had every chance to climb down and has refused to do so. There can be no sympathy left if the people make the decision for him ...but I have a concern,

At the moment it is a people's revolution but it has no aim, it has no objective and I believe that there are people waiting in the wings to take control. These honest people are revelling in their new found freedom but they may just be ripe for an Islamic take over. They should very soon find a leader, someone who they can unite behind, but in such a downtrodden society is there anyone capable of uniting Egypt?

Looking on from the outside they seem to be a very aware society. They are obviously a modern society because so many have emigrated to places like...guess where...the UK and they are clearly determined to rid themselves of their dictator. There are signs that the people are rising everywhere. Already Jordan is trying to dissuade a revolution and I am sure that others are looking nervously over their shoulders.

All this because Mubarak tried to subjugate the citizens! I must therefore pose the question... do we not have the same problem? Are we not under the same regime? We have just had an election and yet our society has not changed. The Political Class still rule through their slavish acceptance of the European Union and they continually refuse to concede that the public have a right to a referendum.

None of the major political parties in this country will even consider a referendum which of course means that they have something to hide. We who contribute to the blogosphere realise that the European Union is a socialist conspiracy to achieve what Adolf Hitler failed to do in the 1940's.

They are conquering by stealth. Their legislation is so convuluted, so complex and so ultimately boring that we the public cannot be bothered to examine it. If you are in government and do not want the public to examine the European legislation then you just ignore it. That way every creeping change can quietly be adopted into law and nobody even recognises that their lives are about to change forever.

I have a vision of the future that may happen years after I am long and gone. I believe that the population of the UK, be they English, Sikhs, Hindus, Buddhists or sky blue pink shot through with a carrot  (an old Worsel expression) the people will one day revolt against the government and against the European Union.

One day the people of this country and those who have brought their children here to enjoy a new life will bellow enough is enough! I personally believe that it will be an immigrant who will  eventually fight for our democracy because we the indigenous population have lost our hearrt to protect our society. One day we will have to fight for it and then we must hope that the Gurkhas and the Sikhs are up for the fight!

Today's Youth

I detect that the youth of today are beginning to realise that the Political Class have placed them in a position which puts them at a severe disadvantage. They have been encouraged to take up university places, to place themselves in heavy debt and expect jobs which would lead them into a career path. None of this has happened so we have got a generation of youngsters with degrees which are worthless.

They are now belatedly beginning to realise that the rosy future, the giggling social acceptance, their transparent university life has now disappeared.

Young people have always been the core of any revolutionary force. Our youngsters have been cushioned by our welfare system but they should wake up and face the fact that the European Union and NoLab and the Tories are killing their chances of a future.

At the present moment the government is printing money as fast as they can which is exactly what Robert Mugabe did! We all know what happened to Zimbabwe. Eventually the inflation led to nothing on the shelves. This is getting tougher and perhaps that might shake the kids out of their lethargy. Somewhere there is a new revolutionary leader... somewhere... somewhere...where are you?
