Out of Hours Healthcare ...a Modern Disgrace!

Our useless politicians spend hours each week bickering about inconsequential petty politics and regularly ignore the concerns of the public.  None of them exposed the scandal of the many NHS Trusts who were killing patients by following the targets imposed on them by a profligate Labour party and ordered by Sir David Nicholson (still in post).  None of them have investigated the Board of the NHS who surely must bear some responsibility for the thousands of deaths of patients who died whilst in their care.

It was the Labour Party under Blair/Brown who decided to hand out huge pay rises to the medical profession whilst at the same time renegotiating their working hours.  The consequence was that out of hours medical cover by GPs was all but abandoned.  Who could possibly believe that this would benefit the public?

The Labour party make huge capital that they are the guardians of the NHS but in reality they destroyed it.  We, the public, are now left with a dangerously understaffed out of hours NHS.  The new 111 emergency number is apparently unsafe and out of hours we are at the mercy of foreign doctors being flown in at huge cost!

Out of hours medical cover is paramount in our lives.  When we are ill or injured we depend on adequate medical cover.  At the moment we are being let down.  Everybody knows that the Labour Party, with some deliberation, wrecked the NHS.  Their Union members (Guido Fawkes calls them 'Pilgrims') are still doing it! The Coalition have had three years to reverse the trend and they have done nothing but introduce the inadequate 111 helpline.

If I had my way I would recall them all from their summer holidays and insist that they work out a system which protects us all and not just those that can afford to pay for healthcare.  That is their job!  That is why we elected them!  Just another reason to vote UKIP and dump the three main, useless political parties.

If you want to know how we came to this point of crisis you don't need to look much further than here!

Bullying and the Trade Unions!

The recent news that Julie Bailey has had to close her popular cafe and move out of Stafford owing to intimidation by persons unknown is a sign of the times. You may well remember that she was the person who almost single handedly exposed the scandal of Mid Staffs NHS Trust following the death of her mother.

She has since been targetted to such an extent that even this brave lady has had to close down and move out? Now who could possibly be angered by her stand against the horrendous practices established and acted out under the watch of people like Sir David Nicholson and Cynthia Bower?  Who would or could order a campaign of intimidation that would close her business down?

She relied upon the largesse of many of the workers from the local Stafford hospital so her stand was even more courageous but then did she already know that malpractice was encouraged.  She must have overheard her patronage discussing work issues.  Most of us will be eternally grateful to her for exposing the scandal at Stafford hospital so who would be angry?

In the 1970's Margaret Thatcher took on the Trade Unions and eventually destroyed them.  For some time after their influence waned but in recent years mainly since we joined the EU they have regrouped and are now once again a force for evil.  After all the leader of the Labour party owes his job to Union support.  He could never have stabbed his brother in the back without it!

They fund 'Unite Against Fascism' which is a violent organisation that specialises in closing down freedom of political expression. They have vetoed almost every attempt to reform Health or Education and seem to be the only organisations that can put enough people on the streets to mount a sizeable demonstration.

So who would it be that would cowardly bully someone like Julie Bailey into closing her business and moving out of her home town? We don't have to look to far to discover the answer.  Where is the modern day Margaret Thatcher when you need one?

The Man with No Shame!

I am astonished at the support that The Political Class is handing to Sir David Nicholson , The Chief Executive of the NHS, who presided over policies which appear to have led to the premature death of thousands of patients.  Yesterday he appeared before a Health Select committee at the House of Commons who, with a couple of exceptions, were largely toothless.

One again our parliamentarians proved themsemves pretty much useless when attempting to pin down a rogue administrator.  I get the impression that some of them simply had not done their homework.  They had little fact to throw at him and he was allowed to deny, fail to remember and obfuscate to his heart's content.

Something is very wrong here.  I get the feeling that if the politicians dismiss this man and they should, then a huge can of worms will be revealed which will involve so many more people.  The NHS is massive.  Parts of it still work really well but under this man an unhealthy culture of neglect, pay-offs and corruption were in evidence.

Yesterday he had remarkable lapses of memory which sometimes made me wonder how he got the job in the first place.  I'm afraid that, once again, the public are probably facing a scandal which is so large it has the prints of the EU all over it.

There is little doubt in my mind that we are facing a huge cancer involving so many of our leading politicians who are serving someone other than the British public.  It did nor surprise me in the slightest that four former Labour Health Secretaries, Milburn, Johnson, Hewitt and Burnham have come out in support of him. Clearly they have lost all sense of reality bearing in mind the number of deaths due to neglect that have come to light.

I shake my head and reiterate thank goodness that we still have Julie Bailey and her associates who still remind us that there is a human face behind this issue.  People died unnecessarily and somebody was responsible!  Apologies are not enough!

Apologies are simply not Enough!

The inhuman treatment of so many patients at the Stafford Hospital is inexcusable.  There has to be a real witch hunt which must expose so many of those concerned. When we hear details of what was tolerated it is unbelievable that the man at the top of this dung heap, Sir David Nicholson, is refusing to step down. What must happen for that man to develop a conscience? What must happen for David Cameron to despatch him into obscurity? Why is he not in court?

There just has to be a paper trail to the perpetrators of this abomination. They must all be made accountable. I mean every member of the Trust, the administrators, the consultants, doctors, sisters and nurses. A special court should be set up to deal with their evil. Every person who served at Stafford Hospital during the period under review should be dragged kicking and screaming before a court and publicly be made to explain why they allowed this hell to happen!

Now don't get me wrong I do know that not all the medical staff are heartless but for heaven's sake what has happened to nursing, to care and to common decency? Whatever happened to Human Rights when it concerns honest, hard working, indigenous, common people who have no political agenda to trumpet? Yeah right!

Today David Cameron actually (can you believe it) supported Sir David Nicholson and kept him in his job. This man was in charge of a system which murdered so many people because of their callous neglect. In modern Britain what does it take to impose accountability within the Political Class. It sums up modern politics...if you are in 'the club' you can commit murder and nobody cares. Cameron is a disgrace! He apologises and then supports the guy in charge of everything!

This is the tip of the iceberg. I saw at first hand the treatment that, at times, (and I repeat ...at times) my very aged mother received particularly at the Royal in Leicester. Now 5 more trusts have been indicted as being under the microscope...hell what is going on?

I believe that the government should look at the activities of the NHS unions and their opposition to every and any change to practice. They oppose every change and clearly something must change. Julie Bailey who has led the campaign to expose the neglect of the NHS is a heroine.  She should receive an honour for her tenacity. She has exposed these bastards for what they have done. The members of this Trust MUST all go to jail!

Sir David Nicholson must be the first to go to jail!
