Syria the Lies are coming home to Roost!

It is now being revealed that the Obama regime lied to the American people about the sarin attack which killed hundreds in Syria!  Most of us remember Senator John Kerry touring Europe trying to drum up support for an attack on the Syrian government on the basis that they had crossed the 'Red Line'.

Now and most of us knew it at the time the sarin attack was carried out by the rebel forces.  The UK was saved from joining in on yet another illegal invasion of a foreign power by a cock-up in the Westmonster electoral process.

So the point of this post is why were David Cameron and William Hague SO convinced that bombing Syria was such a good idea?  In particular did William Hague not betray his position of Foreign Secretary in his desperate attempts to stage manage a scenario which would please his banking masters?

The problem with trying to cheat on the public is that eventually the lies will be outed.  Eventually the intrigue will be exposed and eventually everyone will know that you were not playing with a straight bat.  You were elected to represent the British people not some group of investment bankers. Time to apologies guys and hope that most of the electorate will forget by 2015!

Have all MP's lost the Common Touch?

I sometimes wonder when I watch events like PM's Question Time what the 650 MP's actually do? I periodically tune into BBC in Parliament and I am astonished at how few attend the chamber on a regular basis. As in the days of Tony Blair nothing much has changed. Only a handful of the MPs actually seem to matter. Look at recent events because once David Cameron goes abroad then chaos reigns. Nobody else seems capable of picking up the reins of government. We hire one plane which needed  repairing before it took to the air and one condemned naval warship which fortunately was nearby on its way to the graveyard.

Down here on planet Earth we are actually having a horrible time. Fuel prices are rocketing, pensioners can barely afford to heat their homes, food prices are escalating but there are even more pressing problems. A pensioner dare not become ill or incapacitated because a spell in the local hospital could threaten your life. If you do not have caring relatives you may just starve to death or die of thirst and that is if you dodge the other life threatening viruses lurking on almost every ward.

My question is have our MPs lost all touch with reality? Do they really meet and talk to their constituents? Have none of them got ageing relatives who must attend the local hospitals? Are they all so rich that private health care is mandatory? Do they never monitor the NHS Trusts? Do they never visit an NHS ward without a retinue of hangers on ensuring that  reality is camouflaged? I know that not all hospital wards are guilty but far too many are finding their way onto the pages of the Daily Mail.

Why is it that it is left to crusading papers like the Mail to expose the realities of life for the vast majority of us? Why do the MPs not address the issues in parliament? How can they sit there week after week ignoring some of the awful cases of neglect which are regularly featured? Are they all cowards or are they just disinterested? Does the old adage, 'The working class can kiss my ass I've got the bosses job at last', apply to every single MP?

Sadly it would appear so and that is the leadership that we have come to expect from Westmonster. The crisis in Libya has exposed so much about life in our own country. We seem incapable of leadership! We seem to be paralysed at the first sign of a problem. We have become, greedy, vain and  state dependent which is exactly what the EU wants. The youth of this country, in the past hotbeds of rebellion, have been fed a diet of  platitude.

Now we hear that British government officials have been bribing Libyan officials to 'allow' British citizens to leave the country! It just gets worse and worse. David Cameron is currently live on SKY and he sounds like a Prime Minister but what is behind him? He is claiming that the world is watching the situation in Libya and will react to the behaviour of the Gadaffi government. When has Gaddaffi listened to anyone? As a nation all our military assets are tied up in Afghanistan. We couldn't even defend ourselves against Somali pirates if the need came.

If we listen to Cameron it sounds so organised but if you listen to the people on the ground it is chaotic. All over the media however we have the greedy whingers complaining about lack of  government assistance. I am sorry but they took the dictator's money knowing what he was capable of and now it may be their turn. The risks were obvious but greed overcame their common sense.

This is the problem with blogging whilst watching the news unfolding. It is easy to start on one subject and end up on another. I will finish this post by declaring that it is very difficult to feel sorry for those people who were grabbing Gadaffi's money regardless of the consequences when homes for the elderly are being closed down and the aged are dying in our hospitals through neglect. I suspect that many of the so far fit pensioners are hoarding pills and have that bottle of malt tucked away for the inevitable day when enough becomes enough.

What an indictment on a so called civilized country!

PM's Question Time a waste of time...

I have blogged it before but after watching Gordon Brown's performance at PM's Question Time I almost threw things at the screen. Week after week he is allowed to blatantly electioneer when he should be answering questions put to him by the opposition.

The Speaker spent the whole time shouting at people who were shouting at each other. What a disgrace to democracy! If he had an ounce of courage he would demand that Brown answered a question. If he won't answer a question the what is the point of it all?

By allowing Brown to have a free rein after Cameron has finished his permitted number of questions it brings the House into disrepute. Cameron is at a major disadvantage which is beginning to make him look very weak indeed. If he had an ounce of courage then he would begin next weeks proceedings by warning Brown that if he doesn't adhere to the spirit of the weekly Punch and Judy contest then the opposition will walk out.

That way the first time that Brown ducks a question (in other words the first question) and rants on about the Tories having no policies Cameron should just stand up, face the Speaker and just leave. His party should be primed to follow him and leave Gordon to face empty benches.

I think that would have a huge impact around the world and would mark Gordon out as an unstable and unsuitable Prime Minister. Of course he won't because the LabConLib grouping are all in the same Westmonster club. It is a nice thought though.

A New Dawn

Well I just knew that he wouldn't go quickly. This could be a long drawn out painful death. It could also herald a new dawn but our politicians must have the courage of their convictions. It is not just about reforming expenses it must also encompass reforming procedures.

For too long we have seen Gordon Brown, using parliamentary procedure to dodge questions at PM's Question Time. He has recently been an abject figure in power but not in control. He has been tainted by his association with the Damien McBride's of this world and his Cabinet is now amongst the sleaziest in the land. According to Peter Oborne in the Daily Mail the PM is also accredited with 'shoehorning' Michael Martin into the Speaker's chair. He is either a very poor judge of character or as Guido Fawkes would put an utter 'Jonah'.

Most of us are sick of the Punch and Judy politics conducted by the NoLab and Tory parties. Parliament must be about more than that and should be more accountable. We seem to have lost the debating process so now is the time to open the Westminster doors to others with a wider range of abilities and interests.

We can only do that by adopting proportional representation the election system employed widely elsewhere in the world. In that way minority groups, who often have differing views and interests, could be represented and heard.

Somebody has to come up with some genuine 'outside of the box' thinking. I believe there is talent in Westminster but it has been stifled by Gordon Brown and his social engineering goals. We must keep the pressure on them.

The Speaker and Scotland

I first blogged about The Speaker on 24 Feb 2008 and followed up a month later. At that time it was already being suggested that he was the wrong man for the job. I remember thinking that he was an old fashioned Scottish Socialist and that as such he could never fulfill the role of Speaker because the Speaker should be impartial.

I was brought up in a Scottish socialist household and so I know that the bitterness, the bigotry and the lack of a rounded education prevents them from making impartial decisions. The Scots have been generally brainwashed to accept their version of Scottish history. My own mother who is now 92 tells me what she was taught at school about the English and it is laughable.

One of the problems about our current parliament is that far too many Scottish socialists are ruling the roost. Even in this modern world they have a warped view of England and the English. There is a deep rooted hatred of the English which only comes out when sport is involved. It is no accident that the only people in the United Kingdom who do not have their own Parliament are the English.

In 1996 I was in a Scottish pub in Newtown Stewart on a touring holiday and witnessed England being beaten by Rumania in the European football championships. To a man all the locals were on the side of the Rumanians. Frankly their bigoted attitude sickened me (and remember all my relations are Scots) and I have never forgotten it.

This Speaker should never have been appointed. He has been a disaster and in my opinion the Labour party knew what they were doing. From what I hear about the proceedings today they are quite prepared to bring down democracy and parliament to keep him in office. This will be the legacy of Gordon Brown and Tony Blair. It will take us decades to recover from the last ten years of NoLab rule and blood will be spilt before we do.

PM's Question Time

I watch this farce week after week but I have rarely seen democracy destroyed as it was today. Gordon Brown deliberately refused to answer questions from his opposite number David Cameron. This ridiculous event is entitled Prime Minister's Question Time whereby the PM should at least try to answer the questions.

The traditional epitome of democracy is supposedly encompassed by our parliament and its procedures. These procedures have guarded the democratic principles of the western nations for centuries and yet week on week out we see NoLab evading any attempt to question their incompetence.

No question posed to them is met with an honest or any type of answer. It has become an unedifying farce where this twerp who poses as a Prime Minister is exposed every Wednesday as a complete idiot. Does he really believe that the electorate cannot see through this charade.

This week we have had ridiculous media driven suggestions by a hopeless Home Secretary, a hopeless Chancellor of the Exchequer and a hopeless PM. They are completely clueless in how to tackle the social breakdown that they have caused.

They have caused a climate of indecision whereby no matter what is suggested they will cave in to the first person who attempts to destroy the argument. We need courage. We need leadership. We need a complete change of direction and yet we have Gordon Brown and his cabinet mates. None of them has ever proven anything but their utter lack of fitness for the positions that they hold but we could be stuck with them for another two years. In every By-Election held in recent times they have been destroyed. Nobody believes anything that Gordon Brown says anymore but still he clings on to his unearned power.

Only the people in England would not march on 10 Downing Street and physically throw him out. The damage this man could cause in the next two years is incalculable. We have never had a worse cabinet. This PM could not even be bothered to turn up for the debate on the 'John Lewis List'. He is frankly scared of his own shadow. Cherie Blair must be ecstatic!!
