Now the aforesaid Brodie Clark is fighting back apparently for unfair dismissal. This is the first chink in the armour of the Political Class that I can recall. I cannot remember a case of a Civil Servant taking on a Cabinet Member but you know what they say. When thieves fall out the secrets come tumbling out. Game On!
UPATE: It is on Newsnight now and the battalions are taking sides. Keith Vaz of all people is representing the government and they have a guy from the quaintly termed 'First Peoples Service' representing Brodie Clark! It is a a very strange throwback to the famous TV programme 'Yes Prime Minister'! What a problem for David Cameron. Things are falling apart but then they always do when all the leading people are living a lie.

Just been watching them discuss this in Parliament. They spent a lot of time heckling each other with the occasional outburst of raucous laughter in the background. All questions were answered with a counter-question (as per normal) and an armament of degrading facts about the questioning party's failure to tackle the same issue. Can't believe how weak Ed Miliband is. He's got nothing to give other than stating the obvious and making back-biting remarks and aligations at the PM with absolutely nothing to back it up. Are these people really running our country? They act like kids half the time. The trainees of the NLiTec would surely do a much better job!

You are so right...is Ed Miliband the best that NoLab can come up with. Cameron is toying with him! And yes I do recall that the debates amongst the committee at NL ITEC often had more substance.
